Thanks,
All I remembered was speculation of something having been done "recently".
Did you remember if any particular contractor was mentioned?

Thinking about it, would AB have a solid relationship with LE in Tuscon? I have my doubts, so is the source from the FBI? I have my doubts there too because this would mean that AB has impeccable sources in every police force and FBI unit in the USA.
Have you listened to what AB herself has had to say about that? She speaks on it.

This case has so many twists and turns —and I just have to say that I found the repost and the question a little weird (sorry AJ). Why check back later? Could this be a veiled communication. For someone? Prob reading more onto the post —and repost (which is what caught my eye) but why ask that question twice and then come back later? What are you waiting to see?
I was a little caught off guard too. Moreso in terms of the discussion question, how it relates to the case. Although this is an interesting reflective question, it just felt a bit jarring as it came out of nowhere and seemed more about research.

I really want to know about the white van!

I don’t think there will be another presser until someone is aprehended and in custody
I have to think it will be soon, well, at least hope it is.

If you guys were in the shoes of SIL, which is an impossible thing to imagine, do you think you would try to clear your name and say something if you were innocent? He probably has the internet it wouldn’t take him long to see himself being mentioned as a suspect all over the place.

I have to imagine after a few days of this I would feel compelled to make an announcement or at least put out a written statement declaring my innocence. JMO

After some googling, I'm shocked to find out that there are multiple such ATMs in town.
I would imagine one cannot withdraw X million from such an ATM and also it would not be anonymous, but I don't know for sure.
I was shocked too, Maybe if there are so many it doesn’t mean anything,

Spookily quiet on this case; I'm guessing there is something big coming soon.

What she has said in the last couple of episodes and her appearance on Megyn Kelly’s show (both are YouTube channels now) is that her source is someone directly connected to the investigation, high up in LE, someone she has known for a decade and someone whose position on this hasn’t changed, namely that the SIL may be a prime suspect. She uses that as the basis for her other observations but it’s odd to me that a LE official that high up would say that to her.

I don’t doubt her at all – I just find it odd that her source would say that.

I can see why someone would think that for sure, but I can also see that it's as likely that she is media shy and uncomfortable in those types of settings, particularly under these circumstances. Lots of folks have scrutinized and commented on her breathing and/or her blinking in the first video, but I attribute it more to "fish out of water" behavior myself.

JMO.

If you look at all three, they all appear media shy, only one is professionally trained to handle media!

The only difference might be in world experience. But since two are obviously very loving of their mom, I see no reason why the third one doesn't need to be.

And who are we to judge people leaving such a nightmare, right?

There's no universe where I would be able to remain silent, but everyone is different, and every case is different.

I'm hoping that he has been very occupied in an interrogation room.

Taking a moment to collect my thoughts.

NG is missing. That alone makes this an outlier. A break-in or SA, if there was a murder at all, no need to remove the victim. Unless for fear of DNA. But I don't think the details align with that all.

So why is she missing? Due to age/blood thinners, IMO it's entirely possible that her injury was unplanned, may have resulted from her mobility challenges, in which case, she would have gone missing with no sign of injury.

Why?

To hide DNA in the case of SA. If there was SA, I think LE knows that, based on the appearance of the crime scene.

If no obvious signs of SA, again, why is she missing?

Perpetrator needed her alive.

To aid in relocating her? Too heavy to carry? Force her to walk...

In order to swindle her? Take her to an ATM/Bitcoin and hope she has assets she can convert for you?

It's an anomaly. 84 year old victim. Missing. But likely alive when taken from her home.

It's easy to say that ransomers might be capitalizing on a news story. We know of one already.

But what I can't get past is that, if not as a set up for ransom, why was she removed from her home?

JMO

Is this stating one of the two individuals is who they are looking for as a possible suspect? Both have some sort of id badges, LE would be able to see the details better showing here.
The people in that picture are LE

Fwiw, noting..
Nov 12, 2025 rbbm.
''Ann's roofing problem didn't start with a leak.
She said she was on her couch, watching TV, when her doorbell rang. It was a door-to-door salesman for a roofing company.'

"This guy was so nice, he was so, so nice," Ann said, describing the man who came to her door. " He told me he had gone to a prayer meeting the night before and he had me hooked there!"

But isn't it odd there hasn't been a more emphatic statement from the police ruling out AG and SIL? They are aware of the immense speculation, but all the sheriff said was basically "just be more mindful".

My similar aged Granny agrees and approves of that statement!

Since I have posted that I think its just plain polite to see an elder in the door at a later hour on a deep dark night in general and especially when you are the in town child presumably feeling somewhat, at least, responsible for nothing happening on your watch.

I hope you all explained that no one literally meant tuck her in with a blanket under her chin!

And that Mrs Guthrie has very limited mobility, apparently being treated for significant health concerns and lived in a large home by herself where the nights are unbelievably dark.

See her in the door, make sure her phone is by the bed, instead of the car where Mrs Guthrie's was apparently but maybe she has a landline to call for help, ask if there anything I can do before I go then leave making sure the door is locked behind me.

Now is that too bad ?
No one is less independent. It doesn't have to take but a minute and makes the last to see her feel they were taking care.

All imo

Same here. Do you think maybe an attorney has advised him, if innocent, to make no comments at this time?

No, not publicly.
Are you looking at a neighbor?

One think that does keep bothering me, is that the ransom notes came in so late after the crime.
So I was thinking that she was dying/or dead....so they had to scramble.
See what they could get with no "proof of life", make the demands, but say "no more communication"

And when/if that didn't work the first time, then resort to still getting money
"proof of body"--so they could get Nancy back home for a proper buriel.

But I have also taken into account, that LE is not moving super fast with no Proof of Life, because they are hoping their digging might be able to get the perp.

So I still think the perps are in that "outer circle" of service people, and/or acquaintances etc.. (#3)

However, I still hold the possibility that someone in the inner circle was an initial connection to that outer circle....
You know, now that I think about it, this bothers me. What if it was days before she was reported missing? What if the one Eagle eyed church goer would jot have reported her missing. Its not uncommon to go several days of not talking to elderly parents and grandparents. Why not release the ransom note immediately. Or maybe they did and we aren't aware??? Is that possible?
