it is possible that the kidnappers cut off a finger tip or some other part (like piece of ear) at the time of kidnapping. The second note said where to find where they left it at time of kidnapping. The threat is to send their mother back in pieces.
We don't know, I've seen it speculated here, though.Sorry if this has been talked about or verified, but do they think device on roof was planted by kidnappers?
Her bodyI was struck by the “this is very valuable to us”. Does that mean anything else on the surface? Seemed odd.
Wow. They will pay. This is crazy.
I think having the body still means a lot. It allows loved ones to truly grieve, find a sense of closure, and honor and celebrate a life by laying someone they love to rest in a meaningful way.I get this vibe too but why would a kidnapper who hasn't received payment reveal she's dead? That's their only leverage. If they were that desperate to get paid they would've provided proof of life. Could this be some sign of remorse by the author of the ransom?
groan. And I am sure you and I are not the only two thinking about this BIG TIME.Literally this could be a national security issue if this crap gets out of hand. Imagine terrorists orgs, China, Russia watching right now. They are already plotting who to kidnap.
she is pointing out what she's heard. That's all. we all know what the sherriff is saying. There has been NO confirmation from the police that it was a forced entry
There has been NO confirmation from the police that her medical supplies were left at home.
The sheriff Nanos had confirmed this
Yes, she could still be alive
There has been NO police speaking to the media, so we know what the latest facts are about the disappearance of Nancy.
Instead, a lot is just Media speculation

Yes, shifting!! This is hypothetical and crazy BUT...What if the ransom scheme is a secret diversional ploy by LE to flush out the real perp? Like maybe LE thinks it IS a fam member who has done this for financial gain/insurance, etc. and this phony ransom scheme was thrown in to flush them out. Maybe they're (the perp) getting a little twitchy worrying if the sibs use any of NG's money/assets toward paying a fake ransom scheme then there won't be any money left to really collect from her estate after they find her deceased? My make-believe detective self would love for the siblings video to be a massive decoy that was just made as a distraction while the FBI gets what they need to make an arrest. I can see them disclosing the decoy just to SG. Rambling thoughts…
At the 2nd presser LE firmly said that no one in the family was a suspect. The next day a journalist asked him about TC, he said that they were looking at everyone.
Shifting statements.
As a Christian, a funeral is often called a "celebration of life" and "the only way we will have peace" may mean "closure" - at least they will have their Mother home, properly buried; rather than always being tortured by "where is she". Just my opinions fwiw.I had that thought too. That they now know she is dead and they want to simply bring her home. But the "celebrate with her" seemed to suggest she is still alive. So I concluded the family have received a threat to NG's life and are now resigned to paying whatever amount is being demanded. But then the "this is very valuable to us" is a very odd thing to say about a live person being returned![]()
Excellent interview, thank you for posting. No matter what some people think of Harvey Levin, he has seen the first ransom communication, we haven't. And based on that, he has some good information to share. The last statement of his interview is very concerning, and relates to the Monday deadline stated in the ransom note. Here's the Harvey Levin interview:
No.JMO - I'm trying to read the body language in the video without sound and i know i will get so much hate for this but am i the only one thinking AG is trying to push some tears out in a very unnatural way?
I know everyone reacts differently in these situations and they must be exhausted but i just noticed this and wondered if anyone saw this too or if it's just me imagining things.
Idk what to think anymore, the whole thing is so confusing and all i hope is that Nancy comes home![]()
I didn’t see that. Instead I saw what I’m pretty sure I look like when experiencing intense grief and trying to get my emotions back under control.JMO - I'm trying to read the body language in the video without sound and i know i will get so much hate for this but am i the only one thinking AG is trying to push some tears out in a very unnatural way?

If the kidnappers gave that information away, they are utter idiots. The smart thing to do would have been to keep quiet on the death and just insist on payment for Nancy's return, then just disappear with the ransom and leave the Guthries with nothing.Absolutely. It’s clear they were told she’s dead, and now she’s saying they’ll pay for the body.
But "celebrate with us"? Idk, i'm not American so i'm not familiar with using celebration in combination with a deceased family member. Is this something common in US?"This" is very valuable to us.
This as in laying Nancy to rest, and being able to honor and visit her, bring her flowers, speak to her.
I hope I'm wrong in my interpretation of the words SG said.

I saw a lot of pain, shock, and numbness.
