If Annie and her husband did have something to do with it, she may not have even made it back to her house, it would be easier to keep her at theirs and plant her belongings back at her house (possibly the blood was from an earlier minor injury or they could have also planted the blood to look like an abduction).

So firstly, imo POL has never been provided. I don't think the siblings have been made aware yet of the official direction the main investigation may be going... the appeal was to the kidnapper(s), whomever that may be.

It is possible, with all their digital forensics etc that FBI have just not been able to ascertain yet (definitively) whether ransom demands have come from actual abductor (or accomplice) in which case they have to support the family in going ahead with responses to the ransom notes. The siblings desperately want their mom returned, even if that means deceased and agreed to pay.

Return of Ms Guthrie is unlikely to happen, even if this is a genuine kidnap for ransom situation. Anyone that heartless to have undertaken such a heinous crime are unlikely to risk being captured by upholding their end of the bargain once they have the coin.
BBM. Agree. In the scenario I am speculating on, they would have to (and pardon the unpleasant thought here) unearth her. Even if they only supplied the location of her remains, that still in itself creates risk, due to any forensic evidence they may be able to obtain from the remains. Too risky. And quadruple that risk factor if they returned her alive. (Which I think is a very slim chance of happening).

Whatever maneuver this Perp was attempting failed.

Amateur opinion and speculation

Holy crap!! Is it possible that a body part was mailed to AG house????
Horrifying idea. Possible, yes. If it happened and a family member was involved, I can't find the words to describe how beyond awful this would be and what it says about that family member.

I just don't see why they'd be making these videos if LE has told them TC is a suspect. I think it is possible they've told them but SG is in total denial.
Yes, I thought that too. However, SG is also a lawyer by training right? She might be led by emotions right now, but she will also have high levels of discernment and critical thinking.

Exa
I find that would be cruel and unusual punishment to do this to the siblings.
Exactly - almost a form of torture and highly unethical. I just don't think LE would go that far.

I don't love speculating on how people behave in grief. People often act very strange indeed.

HOWEVER - I also noticed SG's hand contact with her brother is quite different to the contact with AG. She places her hand in her brother's hand and strokes his hand during the video. Her hand is then almost like a claw over AG's's, and there is no movement or stroking at all (unlike the earlier video where there was more touch and movement between the two).
I was just about to respond with this exactly, but you described it so perfectly. Yes, her limp cupping of the sister's hand looks incredibly painful.

If AG and TC are involved I think the bitcoin kidnap ransom thing is seperate from them. A fake story and hoax by an anonymous hacker person who took advantage of the situation when it hit the media. Two seperate crimes.
i think if AG and/or. TC are involved I then think it is for the ransom money. If involved then more as the quarterback and not the ones onsite doing the deed.

I don't think the blood was planted, but I am wondering if her phone was.

If this is the case, and it heartbreakingly might be, there are still things that I don't understand.

For instance, like her blood by her front door.

I suppose that it could be that it was left while she was being transferred while she was wrapped in something but why would they take her back to her house if she died at AG's house?

And why would they be transferring her through her front door instead of the garage which is more easily accessible and more discreet?

Why did the FBI let Sheriff Nanos make insinuations to the public like suggesting it could be the family waving her off when the garage door opened and shut just before 10 p.m. Saturday evening?

Also why would the FBI even bother with digital billboards in different states?

Why haven't they found the writer of those two notes?
I don’t know what to think about the billboards either, unless they believe someone may have seen her or is it to keep her viewed by many people as a way to get to someones mind/conscience (guilt)?

That's exactly what I'm driving at. Once they had that data, things would have turned much faster than they did.
MG I was thinking maybe something did happen when they took her home. No one has said that they left NG at home and left. Maybe the next few hrs they were arguing and something happened. That they were the ones that took NG out of the house at 230 , everything is just all over the place. Jmo

Did Nancy wear an SOS button and if so, where is it?

That is a good point. I remember in the Jonbenet case the police supposedly contacted the fbi when they thought it was a kidnapping but when they realized later in the day it was a murder the FBI didn't have any involvement.
Its complicated and in some cases FBI get involved with it involving a famous person. They may need to rule out that say a media person such as Savannah was not being targeted by a foreign operative. So, it can get weird if high ransom or other components. In the process of FBI ruling out certain things they may stumble across other things due to their advanced capabilities and then they redirect locals to do more ground work. I am not in the fbi, but have been involved with a case where they initially looked in and then deferred back to locals. If you look at the recent acid attack in Savannah, GA same thing. They offered help in analyzing the acid used in their lab to see if it was manufactured with what. Knowing that can sometimes tell if a local crazy guy poured battery acid on her or if terror attack with specialized materials from other areas. Hope this helps.

It is a striking difference to the first video. Something must have happened between those two videos.

to give LE. time to get everything they need for an arrest. He thinks all is fine meanwhile closing in?

I’m wondering if those blood drops could be from her exiting the home through the front door earlier to get into the Uber, older than the day of disappearance, or planted there after she disappeared.

I disagree with the last sentence. In the state of Florida, as long statues are satisfied, anyone can amend a trust as quickly as they can type it up.
Laws likely vary by state. NG's in Arizona, and I'm in Michigan.

Is anyone else like damn, im not having anyone over to my house ever again in the rare chance they do get murdered/kidnapped/held for ransom in the middle of the night and im the last person to see them?
Sure is making me check and double check my security systems..
Having many layers and backups is key..like cloud, usb drives, batteries and cellular systems even down to my alexas type devices .
The lack of NG's security may have many of us re-analyze our needs specifically the elderly living alone.
Not sure it would change anything here ..it seems pretty sophisticated. Thinking Accidents or an illness we need to get notifications out ASAP as much as we would worry about a robbery or kidnapping.

If the sil had this idea too do something, don't you think he wouldn't have had her over for dinner, games etc due to it will have LE over to their house looking for clues? Instead you do it quietly. He would of known that the last person to see her would be primary suspect.
That's assuming it was premeditated.
It may have been an argument -- perhaps NG had discovered some kind of financial theft from her and was planning to tell authorities -- that escalated out of control, and had to be covered in a panic.

I think Cameron is the oldest, then Annie, then Savannah

I don't know if this link is allowed, but it says "The Today Show star, 54, and her family are incredibly close, and Savannah is deeply connected to her older siblings, Annie, 56, and Camron, 61."

(@CrimeDawg123 - Oooops, my phone didn't show me the link in your response. Sorry!!!)

Did anyone read in the news this morning thst there was focus around a silver briefcase at AG home? I guess LE was taking photos of this silver briefcase. What was inside i am curious? Was it something mailed as proof of life? A wedding ring, body part? Maybe this was the kidnapper way to communicate so they aren't tracked digitally??
