The uber is verified. Car damage could have happened anytime. Likely unrelated, but who knows. Possible blood was staged. TC is biology teacher. Pipettes.
IMHO, it would be difficult to stage blood droplets without using an anticoagulant during collection; there would be evidence of something like EDTA found, even if the human source was on blood thinners which only slow clotting.
Also, wasn't there discussion of the droplets containing sputum? That makes me feel these droplets were likely deposited from NG directly.
Do we have any timeline for when these droplets occurred?
Just my opinion--

Did anyone read in the news this morning thst there was focus around a silver briefcase at AG home? I guess LE was taking photos of this silver briefcase. What was inside i am curious? Was it something mailed as proof of life? A wedding ring, body part? Maybe this was the kidnapper way to communicate so they aren't tracked digitally??
Yes, I also read in the Daily Mail about the silver briefcase but don't know what to make of it.

If Annie and her husband did have something to do with it, she may not have even made it back to her house, it would be easier to keep her at theirs and plant her belongings back at her house (possibly the blood was from an earlier minor injury or they could have also planted the blood to look like an abduction).
Planting the blood could look like it does on the pictures when using for example a turkey baster - jmo

Has anyone mentioned NG's dog? On some local FB pages a lady has commented saying she has house sat for NG and "her precious pup" before. Also, in the Christmas photo NG posted on FB, TC is holding a dog.
I'm asking as, if the dog didn't know whoever took NG, surely they'd have made a hell of a lot of noise? Also, where is the dog?
Going on memory, the dog passed away, not sure when. It was mentioned that NG was a bit lonely without her beloved dog.

From what I’ve heard it was only sheriff not FBI searching AG’s house last night.. it’s strange to me that it would be Pima co. and not the FBI searching.
FBI wouldn't be trying the case, it would be the local LE/Prosecutor

Did Nancy wear an SOS button and if so, where is it?
like an emergency alert type device. I think we would have heard about it so answer is no. No button...apparently no working security system? It is a real lesson....no neighborhood that is too safe for alarm systems and anyone over a certain age should have an alert on their body even though many refuse. Families have to work with them to find something that keeps them connected no matter what.

Sure is making me check and double check my security systems..
Having many layers and backups is key..like cloud, usb drives, batteries and cellular systems even down to my alexas type devices .
The lack of NG's security may have many of us re-analyze our needs specifically the elderly living alone.
Not sure it would change anything here ..it seems pretty sophisticated. Thinking Accidents or an illness we need to get notifications out ASAP as much as we would worry about a robbery or kidnapping.
This case has made me rethink a lot of my positions for sure. Sadly, a creepy, evil person will figure out another way to get around any preventative obstacle you set to protect yourself or others. But, if a true random crime, then some basic, better monitored procedures in place could maybe help deter or solve a crime.

NO. This is my bugaboo and I’m sorry I keep getting hung up on it because I think it’s absolutely pivotal. JMO.

The church issued a statement that did not clarify. The person/persons who allegedly made the call are not named or even interviewed by the press. Frankly, it’s my opinion that this simple fact is being obfuscated purposely. Does it harm the case to clarify whether NG attended services in person?? This is like the question of NG’s cane: where was it?

(N.b., The Sheriff omitted this alleged call from the most recent timeline. Whether or not it was a clerical omission or intentional is not known. Some media outlets continue to include it in subsequent articles about the timeline/summary, some omit it as well.)

I’ll die on this hill: There’s something hinky about this particular aspect of the case. I think the call was quietly debunked. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s my current opinion.

After last night’s search of AG’s house that suggested luminol was used, I can absolutely come up with a scenario where there was no call from anybody at NG’s church that sent AG and the SIL to her house.
If that’s the case, as you say, that could have been LE’s first indication that AG and the SIL’s story was not on the up and up.
I’m not quite ready to die on this hill with you, but I will fire a couple of volleys before I run.

Would mail to these properties be intercepted at this time? Given how easily it was to locate NG's address online, and also AG's address, I suspect LE would be intercepting anything arriving since they started the investigation?

I don’t know what to think about the billboards either, unless they believe someone may have seen her or is it to keep her viewed by many people as a way to get to someones mind/conscience (guilt)?
The billboards could be something very simple as a rich person who knows Savannah offering to help and says, hey i own 10 billboards I'll get your mom's picture up there!!

Hahaha I dont have a key for my own front door 🤦‍♀️ because we only use the garage but all of these comments have me feeling like I'm doing something wrong! 😅
Same! Glad I’m not alone. I mean, for some reason we didn’t even change the garage door opener code the previous owners used when we bought the house. Hopefully 12 years later they won’t try to return 🫣

For those wondering about where Savannah and her siblings were during the search last night:

“Savannah Guthrie and her siblings, who had been staying at their older sister's home several miles away, left the location as investigators conducted their search.”

That is all very interesting to say the least.

Yes, I thought that too. However, SG is also a lawyer by training right? She might be led by emotions right now, but she will also have high levels of discernment and critical thinking.
I don't think she's thinking as a lawyer right now. She is utterly traumatized and in her emotions, understandably. This is too close to home for her to be thinking rationally and logically right now.

When is the ransom exchange? Then what?

  • #11,757
to give LE. time to get everything they need for an arrest. He thinks all is fine meanwhile closing in?
I would like to see them get a confession first so the family can put their mother to rest. That'll be a tall order, but I'm afraid if they move too quickly to arrest, he'll lawyer up and will not share where Nancy is.

My problem with AG is that she does not fit the profile. I know nothing about TC, but AG is understood to be involved in the local poetry, writing, and jewellery scene? We really think this is the profile of someone involved in kidnap, murder, and bitcoin ransom?

In this scenario are you assuming her intention was a ransom? Maybe it was a domestic gone horribly wrong (even by her spouse) and then a blundering cover-up/distraction after the fact. Many cases have unraveled in blundering, unbelievable ways.

The ransom as far as we know with all the details released to the press could have come after the fact or another event or be unrelated. Many experts, former FBI etc. have said it's a very atypical ransom. If one's end goal was a ransom you would want it quick and quiet and contact the family directly, have other proof than a description of things at the crime scene after the fact.
It is possible the "ransom" is an after the fact cover up or distraction and that NG was deceased prior to it, in an assault, accident, domestic, etc. either by a blundering wannabe kidnapper or by someone in her immediate circle. It is possible the ransom is a scam by another party that was clever enough to get some facts of the case (as far as we know no unique identifying information has come since then. If they had possession of an alive NG they could obtain that.)

The ransom was always the weird part in how atypical and convoluted it appeared. It may well be an indirect product of another event and even by another party. And it may be put out there with no true intention to genuinely bargain for return, because they can't offer that (either NG is already deceased, or the "ransomer" can not deliver her/doesn't have her).

Neither of us know her, so I think it's best we both avoid speculating about her current thought patterns. Jmo.

If a call was made from a church friend of Nancy's it will def show up on the cell call logs of both. LE has all of that and would require a DRILLING on that from LE to them. If no call, it would of been a way to get the ball rolling on Nancy's abduction plan per horribly, her Son/law etc. IMO
