I don’t mean this in the wrong way, but who was looking for Nancy being on a livestream church service. I understand that friends might look for each other in person, maybe to sit together or go to coffee after. Is it the same for virtual church?

And I wonder why Nancy wasn’t going to church in person. The fellowship and the feeling of togethership (especially during hymns) is something that many people especially enjoy. Did she miss it?

Was she avoiding anyone?
It doesn't necessarily have to mean she was avoiding someone or afraid of someone. A lot of older people lost critical muscle mass, etc., during Covid lockdowns. My sisters MIL actually had to go to rehab for it, and ended up in assisted living because she couldn't get back enough to live on her own again. She may have had the same thing happen to her. And after Covid, she just wasn't able to get back out for church services. Or, with her heart issues, maybe she was just concerned about getting sick.

I can't imagine going thru this kind of week without my husband at my side. Haven't heard whether Camron is married (?) but I'm surprised SG's husband isnt there. Kids, school, work, I know, but come on - this is a traumatic life event for SG.
SG didn't seem to be around for a couple of days, she may have flown home to her own family then.

I could see this being like a Kohberger or Tepe murders situation, where LE is aware of a suspect and keeping it close to their chest to not alert them ... but this situation is different because it's a medically fragile 84 y/o woman, who may still be alive, and each day that passes makes the situation seem more grim. 😞

"Building a case and taking their time" just seems so much more dire when the victim could still be alive. I just hope they know more than they're letting on, and I hope there's a chance she's still alive.
Agree with the similarities to the Kohberger and Tepe murders where LE had a suspect but kept it close to their chest as to not alert the suspect.

LE may know that NG is dead, and they are building their case, following procedures in gathering evidence and being careful to have rock-solid evidence so the jury will convict.

Oh right. But if it was a fake ransom hoax, why would they suspect AG and TC?

It may be unrelated - but there are enough data points that they might be connected in some way. (e.g. texting both AG and TC but not SG and the verbiage of the text was not a ransom - the exact verbiage is in the court records. This individual is also in a band in the same genre of TC) So now the detectives are trying to put the pieces together - and the "fake ransom hoax" part is just a way of detectives not trying to show their cards - but it's part of the puzzle they are putting together. Again - all speculation at this point.

I wonder if you can even see attendees in the livestream (even just a name). Some streams hide this information for privacy reasons, meaning it's possible even the theory that someone in a live stream noticed she wasn't attending does not stack up.
I would hope this information would not be made available publicly. Church may keep a record for whatever reason, but I doubt if you ask or request to verify someone’s attendance, unless legally obligated, they’d tell you sure, here you go!

Not really. “Kidnapping” was a common prank when I was a teen, (well orchestrated with parents in advance), to make a birthday teen go to breakfast in their pajamas. Silly, and all in good fun.

Amateur opinion and speculation only
Sororities did it all the time, kidnapping new members

Churches keep track of attendance (both in-person and virtual) so NG's attendance habits could be verified by LE via the church, if they desire that information.
Sunday school ususally has a list of those who belong and attend the class but "big" church would not. There is no way for the church to know who comes into the worship service that I'm aware of.

Oh I see now. Yes, that's the part I didn't understand as I thought it had been ruled a hoax and not implicating AG or SIL in any way.

Same reason a homicide team showed up to a “missing person” call. IMO

IIRC they called off the search. Were there K-9 units tracking Nancy’s scent? An organized volunteer search? Did officers fan out from the last place she was seen and perform a grid search?

I think there was undeniable evidence of violence in that house and LE knew it was very unlikely that NG was going to be alive for long, if at all.MOO
I think that is correct. Right from the start the Sheriff was tallking...alot. He made it crystal clear it was a homicide.

Sorry I thought you were confused by my terminology not the post I responded to, the snipping of posts is kind of weird, just the way it is. I took it to mean the person is not fake now and is in on it with the SIL, does that sound right? It is confusing. So if the person that texted SIL and AG asking when the bitcoin would be deposited I took it as it being fake but now some are saying it was a real cohort asking when they all were getting paid? Or no? Someone please help this is confusing
No no that clears it up! Thank you! So potentially multiple individuals involved. But was the "hoaxer" charged with anything beyond malicious communications?

Wow, so the church report might be nonsense too?
I have thought that from the beginning, I called nonsense on that one and all it does mess up the real timeline

Was it not said she was doing online bible study with the church not a sermon per se that she missed ,maybe some one with better recall can clarify this .

650 odd pages in I'm losing my marbles 😅

Daily Mail said in one article early on that Nancy didn't physically attend church since the COVID era.

The New York Times stated in an article today that a church member from Nancy's church notified family members when she wasn't sitting in her pew.

That has not been talked about. Mostly it was made to seem like he was just some random person who was trolling but I felt like there was more to it. I hope this week finally brings answers, this is so confusing for the public. They must have it under control because they don't care if we are confused. If they needed the publics help they would be more forthcoming with truth and real info.

This is why I made the point in an earlier post (removed) about the credibility of The Daily Mail. It is not in the same league as the NYT. Apologies if this post has to be removed (mods please feel free to remove it), but I think credibility of sources is now very relevant here because of this gaping inconsistency in the timeline.

Thanks. I just read the following though: "[Hoaxer] is not linked to the Bitcoin ransom demand, according to the complaint."

I thought that too... reading between the lines of what Sheriff Nanos said they found at the house... he projected in a way that appeared to signal why homicide team was called in.

Which then, of course, contradicts his assertions a few days later when he stated she was still with us etc... although that could have been for the benefit of keeping the family's hopes alive.

Wouldn’t the insurance just be on Savannah herself though, like if she were kidnapped? I doubt it would cover anyone besides their key employees but I don’t know.
Yes, kidnapping and extortion insurance only covers employees and only while they are working. Like a reporter going to a warzone and subsequently getting kidnapped.

Someone said you cannot see the names in the livestream and there is not chat area to say hello or fellowship

Are you sure?
Not in church, but on conferences the system is used all the time. You just have to download it once. I assume it is cheap. Again, you see who signs in and comments, and if I typed, happy b-day and the person didn’t answer, I’d think, darn, we have flu going on! Is she OK? Just call her to check and maybe text her family.
Heck, if I heard in the church that she just had a b-day, I’d call and my first thought would be about the flu. So I’d call the family just because. It may not be a red flag yet.
