True, but if it wasn't what else would it be? A cover up for something else?
Many a person has done, in a flash of anger, something they later regret because its consequences are far more momentous than expected.

I am not saying that this is what happened, but a carelessly flung out arm while gesticulating could potentially cause a fall that turns fatal. Panic sets in, and unwise actions evolve from there.

Just a thought of how a seemingly harmless action, with no intent for causing injury or, worse yet, death, can escalate through pure dumb luck or poor judgment.

Sometimes people panic. They fear that whatever explanation they can offer of an event will not believed. Things grow from there. It happens to a much lesser degree in our everyday lives, and we all would love to firmly believe we wouldn't do the wrong thing instead of telling the truth, but you have to be in the situation to actually know what your actions are.

Opinion, pure and simple.

but it is said that the first ransom note knew things about the inside of the house that were specific to this case and that evening.
Could be an insider involved in a misdirection. JMO

In theory, JMO. We don’t know if this is a true fact, I can’t stress this enough, and somewhat regret mentioning it. Although it’s a rumor, anyone can go listen to the podcast and hear it for themselves, so it’s not something I just made up.

JMO I’m not an expert by any means, but I think blood from coughs and sneezes would be much smaller droplets of a different shape. The droplets on the porch look more like something dropped straight down from the source, IMO
The blood almost looks staged like if you use a turkey baster, the last squeeze has a lot of air along with the liquid and can give that fine splatters, idk, just IMO

I’ve mentioned that I live in NG’s neighborhood. Several people here as well as folks I know who live close to main roads, even outside of this neighborhood, had LE visits over the weekend. They want footage from any cameras facing these main roads: Oracle road and 1st Ave are the two I can personally confirm.
A week later? That would logically be one of the first things they would do? I am really. wondering what happened those first days other than Sheriff going on a media blitz.

Yeah I think it's questionable that she was given non-public info about sputum in the blood, even if she is an ex-LE officer. And even if she was given this info, why would she make it public? It was probably speculation. There has been a flood of speculation on this case!!
Agree, she states she read it but does not state where she read it.
It’s folks like this that muddy the waters MOO

Yesterday on her podcast, The Nerve, Maureen Callahan was discussing Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance with Ashleigh Banfield.

Maureen said she read that the blood drops on the porch had been tested and the blood came from Nancy. Also that there was sputum mixed with it, that suggested it had come from her mouth or nose (as opposed to a cut on her arm, say).

PLEASE see my post here

This is not what I heard when listening. She was asking if that was known. It is NOT.

I’ve always been a bit perplexed as to why they stopped the search so quick. I understand that it’s likely they realized pretty quickly that something nefarious had happened and they didn’t have a simple wandering case going on. However, it seems that occasionally if someone is abducted and harmed, they will be found discarded somewhat close to the abduction site. I’m surprised they didn’t search more, just in case she was left close by. But then again, with the quick release of the house and coming back a few times, maybe I’m not surprised.
They used dogs, drones, helicopters, and ground searchers from multiple agencies. I think it appears to us that the search was quick because it took a while for this to even hit the news.

The kidnapping is a cover up for her murder. The ransom either came after-the-fact or it was planned in advance to make it appear to be a kidnapping for ransom. More than 1 or 2 people working together. Money is the motive. It almost always is.

Seems to me that if a family member were in dire financial straits, SG would not hesitate to help them out. JMO
Not necessarily. Family tension can be real and irrational.

Her mom has appeared with Savannah on tv.

Right, but why would anyone fake Nancy’s voice to get her to open the door?

Or did you mean someone might fake it for another reason?

An effort to misdirect by the person responsible, or some random opportunist trying to cash in on the situation.
I don't see anything in the profile of the SIL to indicate he was techno-savy enough. He has such a small profile online. Keep in mind almost all internet traffic goes through US-based servers and that the FBI will get warrants to follow the connections back, even if you use a VPN or an anonymizer. We learned this from Edward Snowden many years ago, I am sure the ability has only gotten better.

It isn't as easy to mask your ID online as people might think. In the US, all traffic is searchable eventually.

And she could have been over the border before anyone knew she was missing.

Very interesting.

Maybe NG said something that upset another family member and tempers flared and NG got pushed, etc.

Anyway, I am as lost as most of you as to what actually took place... but I am leaning towards the aforementioned family member's husband. Am thinking that they just don't have enough evidence to arrest.

Exactly. Within my own family there are multi millionaires who say no to a destitute sibling.

We don't know how NG's pacemaker was set up.

IMO LE was able to say when it disconnected because she most likely had a notification on her phone from her app that it had lost bluetooth connection at a specific time.
Correct, there is an iphone message and he surmised that is when she was taken from the home. What I was trying to say is that this does not mean what he thought it did; the pacemaker made a once daily attempt to DL info the iphone/watch but found it was disconnected when it attempted the DL. Those are 2 different things IMO.

RE: SPUTUM IN THE BLOOD

I was able to find the posts from the last few days that said AB stated there was sputum in the blood and where she said it. This is NOT true ... she was asked if she knew if it had other evidence in the blood.. AB said NO, she just knew that it came back as NG.

Another great example of why it's important to provide links. IMO

Thank you for taking the time to research.

I favor the former.
