The jacket worn looks to not have a collar or cuffs, a distinctive strip across the chest and piping along the zipper. I have looked at literally hundreds of men’s jackets and athletic tops on Amazon and have not come across even one that is similar. So maybe that jacket could be easily recognized by someone that knows this person.

Foreign purchase? Maybe made in say Switzerland and sold there? Something along that line?

I think they put a piece of tape over the stripe. I have been searching the internet for a jacket like that, and I can’t find it.

This is the time to (a) install security, regardless of how rudimentary it is (b) convince elderly parents to give in to the necklace/alert device - many resist and it might have saved Nancy in this situation (c) buy stock in Ring and/or Google

It definitely appears the perp came well prepared but prepared for what? Police haven't disclosed anything taken? That's what makes this so odd? Why remove someone alive or dead from home when identity hidden, gloves etc. it seems officials have declared the ransom communication a dead end possibly someone interjecting themselves like the one in Cali they arrested. So what was motive behind this?

I'm behind on comments due to life life-ing right now, but I've been looking for a vehicle in those photos and video. It can't be far away. It's not like he could walk that poor woman down the street to a waiting car. I wasn't able to see a vehicle, but maybe someone here has.

at that point, they may as well wait for NG to pass naturally. in some places, it can take five years for insurance to pay out on a missing person. not sure about the timeline for inheritance. why take such a massive risk if it won't pay off right away? but on the other hand, desperate people don't act rationally.

I mean anything is possible but that seems a bit less likely or at least not a real smart plan if that was their intentions. Also I understand the brother is retired military? I'm sure he is comfortable, but I wouldn't think he is SG wealthy, unless there is something I missed?

I think they're black leather (or faux leather). Someone posted a close up of the hand and it looks to me like there is a visible seam on the outer edge of the glove and on the fingers. JMO

After seeing the pics/videos of the suspect, it's hard for me to believe AG or SIL were involved. NG is 84 years old with mobility and other health issues. If they wanted to kill her they could just literally push her and then claim she fell. Even if it was an argument that got too heated and she was struck by one of them... they could just say she fell. I don't think the police would look too much into it, especially if they were to call 911 right after it.

Totally agree with this. Anyone in the close circle who wanted to do away with her would just have to push her into her own pool. No need for a huge ruse.
