Since he hasn’t been named as a suspect, I don’t think we can discuss this person. However it is public knowledge that he is a member of the band Early Black, along with Tomasso Cioni.

I think the best course here would be to assume AJ is telling the truth and that she will return later to confirm, or if she misspoke, to clarify.

So assuming it is true, what does the retention of a white van by LE, with our understanding that a neighbor of NG reported a suspicious white van in the neighborhood, suggest?

To me, not a lot. Nothing. I’d have been hearing of white van in news and hidden it if it were mine and I was responsible. I don’t think it’s involved.

Thank you. I was thinking the same. Anytime we go out knowing we’ll be home after dark, we always leave our front door lights on. Arizona is beautiful and the dark skies with all of the stars is breathtaking, but I don’t think I’d ever be able to live there because of the restrictions on outdoor lighting.

our outside lighting is either on "timers" on at sunset of at dawn or with a photocell.

also if we are out and arrive home... the home app turns on specific lights inside when our phone is close.

even with our dark sky rules.... we are allowed outside lighting....

Can a person even move 7 milion around in less than a week with how much control the government now has on our banking? Heck I think if you play around with a measly 10 thousand you have to fill out forms. Maybe wealthy people are looked at differently and can move large amounts faster than some of us "little guys"? I just couldn't figure out how a kidnapper thinks you can just go into a bank and get 7 million or move 7 million into bitcoin in a couple days. Can it be done if they wanted it done?

Honestly I think the play here, if they wanted to make the payment, would be to work with one of the companies that helps ransomware victims. They should be set up to transfer bitcoin relatively quickly without having to deal with the family literally buying bitcoin and transferring it themselves.

Doing some catchup this morning and looping back to discussion about the use of forms for sending the ransom notes/unable to send photos, KOLD said they received their notes from a 'send in a tip' form on their website. KGUN and TMZ have similar forms, so I assume it was sent the same way. Only TMZ is able to attach a photo/video, but the sender may not have wanted to risk it even if they wiped EXIF (metadata).

On that note, I was surprised how small TMZ's upload limit was. 25mbs is remarkably small, and they only allow one file. Think 15-20 seconds of video in 1080p. However, that would be enough to provide proof of life, imo....

Also another random thought. Elderly often have paper thin skin and bleed very easily due to blood thinners, etc. So, even a small wound from a scuffle could have caused the bleed. She could have grabbed a vase and tried to smash it on them and cut herself. Who knows. There were some flower looking debris on the front door stooping near the blood.

On the things people like to think are flowers- if they were truly flowers, don’t you think LE would have taken them into evidence? Although as I say that the Amazon package was there.

We have a dark sky rule in my subdivision, as well. The only lights that can stay on all night are porch lights. Any other flood lights, etc. are supposed to be off by 10pm.

We had to have our roof replaced twice in Texas due to wind and hail. We later discovered that the first roofers were really just the sales guy to sell roofs. They then subbed it out and did a really crappy job. I won't go into details.

That's nervy of the roofers ask to use your restroom. I think that I would have said that I just didn't feel comfortable letting anyone in my home...

Nobody coming in my house to use my restroom, take one of your vehicles to the circle k around the corner. Map out starbucks locations or whatever to know where restrooms are close to your job of the day. No way in 2026 anyone coming in my house and using my bathroom. I don't know if you are carrying cdiff and give it to me, that can kill you. Almost died from it, picked it up in the hospital, people I guess have never heard of it.

We have that ordinance too. Lights can be used if you are outside, and all lights are down lights, no up lights, spotlights. .

and you can bet the next time someone on the local FB group complains about lights that i'll be posting links to this case! a headline popped up on my apple watch the other day... how the night sky ordinance played into NG's abduction

The case of Corey Binderim is food for thought. He was a handyman with a lot issues - drugs, debt. Kept up a facade as a family man with kids. Generally a likable guy - not a white van creeper. He agreed to help an elderly lady remodel her bathroom. She prepaid him $12K. He then proceeded to spend the money on drugs, alcohol. He started flaking on the lady. She got frustrated that her bathroom wasn’t getting done and started complaining and asking for her money back. She told him she would report him to the police and had an attorney. He went into a spiral because he could not pay the money back and he was about to be exposed as a fraud and drug addict. He was hiding the problem from his wife and 2 daughters, but they were on the verge of finding out. Desperate to cover up this mess he created he went to the lady’s house and strangled her. Took her remains to the dump. He was eventually caught.

Point being - a motive could be payment of a debt - even a small debt. $12k to a handy man or other average Joe with no money could be a pain point for a desperate person to try and make the issue go away. So perhaps the motive revolves around someone she paid for a service that wasn’t done. Going into the house at night and disappearing her aligns more with needing to silence her over something versus breaking in looking for a coin collection.
