First time commenting but been a lurker for a long time. This reminds me of the Daniel Stisliski and Gannon Stauch cases. In both of those the police knew way more then they released. Hard to see this family being just defeated

This has actually been talked about here. People have mentioned a chicken a or rabbit coop, a well enclosure, pool equipment, and a tree house (my guess). Home was bought in 1975, could have been for the kids.
I noticed watching futher on, it's a treehouse, seemed to have a few things inside it, not entirely sure what, but this could be possibly a lookout without being noticed.

You can just make out the pole upper-left, and sink? inside it, I watched the FBI go under it but never looked up, possibly couldn't see it? It was getting dark by that time.

I've been lurking and watching this unfold, but something caught my eye I haven't seen anyone mention yet. (If I'm doing this wrong I do apologize)

While watching the Fox True Crime Live Stream Feb 6th @ 1:21:32 mark, I noticed a decrepit looking, but may be fairly stable treehouse perfectly hidden and could give a good visual over NG home. Again I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, but I just snipped from the Live Stream. Seems interesting, if it was someone they would have a view and survey over time on NG.

Also, if this has been mentioned already, sorry about that.. hard to keep up I didn't notice if so.

It looks like a good hiding place.

I wonder if it's actually on her property? It looks like there's a brick wall adjacent to the guest house (?) and extending in front of the foliage.

Does anyone think it's odd that none of NG's friends have spoken out? At least that I've seen. Like her friends from church, the neighborhood, etc.? Or that recent video of her wasn't released in order to ID her (there were just photos).

My friend thought which is why I'm asking. I didn't even think about that to be honest.

I don't think so, but four hours is a long time for that, again based on my family- theirs could be different. But it would matter getting settled into the house at night comfortably, yes I think so.

Also, just to more info since we're really getting into this question! The average person in their mid eighties goes to bed between 7 and 8pm, according to studies online. So I don't think it's out of the ordinary for many to think it's odd she was out until almost 10pm for a casual dinner. It sounds like your parents are an exception which is truly lovely!

Maybe you go to bed that early in a nursing home but not necessarily if you are still independent.

This whole rigamarole just doesn’t make sense to me if it was family - people trip and fall and get injured and succumb to their injuries, and that would be so much less suspicious if they were trying to premeditate a death. If it was an accident/heat of the moment situation, this still seems a very complicated way of covering it up. And then the ransom thing - real or a red herring…it seems like it doesn’t fit either.

Thank you! But is that the ONLY time during the day it opened/closed? If she left that way for the Uber, it would have had to have opened/closed then, too. Again, just a thought.
Uber picks us up and drops us off at our front door. They like to stay on the road/not go down our driveway, so she may not have exited from garage for uber.

Still haven’t found anything confirming location of where her phone was found. The news nation article says her watch, car and phone were all found at her home. That doesn’t say phone was found IN the home or IN the car and listing it next to car further adds more uncertainty…

I don’t think much of it makes sense, family or not.

This has to be one of the strangest cases I’ve heard of.

Sorry, I haven't been able to read every post, is it correct that a pacemaker can continue to send a signal even if someone has passed away? My google search says yes it can, but just checking as I know there are some on here who had alot of knowledge in this area

What we don't even know is the condition that Nancy G has. Is it afib, or A-V node block, or runs of ventricular tachycardia.

Depending on it, the type of the pacemaker used is different. Some pacemakers have to be in constant connection with the local EMT station, for others, periodic interrogation is enough.

So until we know what condition NG has, it is difficult to discuss. Regular pacemakers for afib probably just collect data on the device that are checked monthly or so.

If it is a pacemaker/defibrillator, then, indeed, there has to be a constant connection to the network, because what if it has delivered a defibrillating voltage? Then EMT gets a signal, and a car is sent out.

What i want to say: with certain types of arrhythmias, the device does not "send" any signal in real time and in fact, the data from the phone are analyzed only during visits to a doctor. But we don't know NG's situation.

But yes, the device does not "die" with the body.

Still catching up… I wonder. If you release a scene, who do you (and everyone else) expect to be there that’s not immediately suspicious? The family. But what if someone you expect to be there does something suspicious? You could get that on camera…
Good thinking….

Watch the ‘We received your message” video without sound and focus on the sisters reaction.
All I know is, the face-covering while in the car, I maintain that that is very odd under the circumstances. It’s just not something someone would think of doing at a time like this, unless they were terrified, perhaps, of a killer coming after them next. But going in front of cameras on tv sort of throws that out of the window.

When a loved one is missing, family are in shock, and just trying to get through each day, going on no sleep but with an electric anxiety coursing through them. All thoughts are for the missing loved one and other family who may be impacted. Not on themselves.

Someone mentioned celebrities like Princess Diana, covering their faces. But she was hounded relentlessly, for years and years, by the paparazzi. That is a different scenario, IMO.

I have been thinking about this case and I just couldn’t reconcile that behavior. I don’t know. I could be wrong but that behavior felt off.

It stood out for me straight away, too - elderly people usually don't want to be out late at night and that's why you'd rather do a lunch than a dinner if they were invited. Unless she is hooked on mahyong and didn't worry about lateness.
I just took up mahjong 2 days ago, I enjoyed it, and they all said I'd soon be addicted. So there's that.

It depends on the individual. My grandparents were early birds, dinner at 4:30, in bed by 9. My dad, on the other hand, absolute night owl. Even in his 80’s we’d stay up watching TV and talking into the wee hours, 2 or 3 am. As you can guess, I’m a night owl too.

I can see why many want to get off the roads before sundown, but if they’re not driving, who knows how late someone may stay up.

This has to be one of the strangest cases I’ve heard of.

We have seen stranger ones, we just forget. Imagine how Kelsie Berreth case started. She disappeared, her phone pinged somewhere in Idaho crevice, people thought she was flying and lost it. Her mom said, "they are good, they are loving", about her and P. Frazee, while knowing that she was likely "disappeared" by him. But LE needed a case, and a body.

We may be seeing something similar here, IMO.

Fear?

Law enforcement aren't going to use a grief-stricken family as celebrity pawns to catch an unrelated makeshift extortionist, folks. And AG's home is not and has never been an established crime scene.

Yes, living in the area the general consensus is fear. Lots of talk this week with family/neighbors about making sure doors are locked and houses are extra secure.

I'm 43, an absolute early bird but usually in bed by 9! My mum is 79 and regularly up until 11.30pm. I think it's so individual dependent on natural body clocks. I will always be an early bird (I'm in the UK and it's nearly 7am here and I've been up since 4.30!) and my Mum wouldn't be able to go to sleep early.

If this was an accident, it's a hell of a lot of cover up and betrayal of trust of other family members.
If it's premeditated, wt* is that all about?!

If AG/TC's son is the one featured in NG FB post from 5 years ago, he would now be 13.
