All I know is, the face-covering while in the car, I maintain that that is very odd under the circumstances. It’s just not something someone would think of doing at a time like this, unless they were terrified, perhaps, of a killer coming after them next. When a loved one is missing, family are in shock, and just trying to get through each day, going on no sleep but with an electric anxiety coursing through them. All thoughts are for the missing loved one and other family who may be impacted. Not on themselves.
Someone mentioned celebrities like Princess Diana, covering their faces. But she was hounded relentlessly, for years and years, by the paparazzi. That is a different scenario, IMO.
I have been thinking about this case and I just couldn’t reconcile that behavior. I don’t know. I could be wrong but that behavior felt off.
