The amount of ransom demanded was never released until now but Harvey Levin revealed that there was another deadline Monday with something worse happening if demands weren't met.
Yep had heard the monday deadline with consequences but not the amount or the time

Extended deadlines with no proof of life....seems like ransom is not same people as whoever took NG

So Annie and her husband had NG come to the restaurant in an UBER, which gave them the opportunity to take her home, they probably went in her house to discuss money and an argument broke out, Annie got injured and they knew they would be suspects so they put her in her own car and buried her in the desert MOO.

Idk ya’ll, the latest visit to AG’s house by LE is extremely unsettling to me. I’m starting to wonder if NG’s house was released so quickly so that LE could plant devices and observe before going back in to take inventory, note what was moved and/if any cleaning took place. This is not looking good.

I can’t see SG or CG going along with video pleas for NG’s return if they had suspected anything of AG or her husband. Even with SG’s decades of experience reporting and being on camera, being a victim in this story has to be like an alternate reality for her. Or maybe I’m wrong, and both SG and CG are more than willing to do what’s asked of them by the FBI in these circumstances regardless of who’s at the center of it all. It makes my stomach turn just trying to fathom it. But then again, I’m not a reporter that’s spent years and years on camera in front of the entire world that also did white collar criminal defense. Nor have I ever served in a military role to have the discipline to be cool and calm in the face of extreme situations like CG.

The more time goes on, the more I’m irritated at the sender of these ransom notes. The arrest of the hoaxer makes me think perhaps the FBI has no issue at all knowing who sent these ransom notes and where they’re coming from…

I read that NG took Uber to Tucson daughter's house 5:32pm and it is alleged NG had dinner and played game there around 6pm to 9:30pm.

Is it possible FBI are playing along with a 'ransom charade'?

It was mentioned a couple times on this thread, the ransom might've been an after thought/red herring post (possible) homicide as a distraction or create a plot to lure LE away from the usual suspects.

But my only problem with ransom being a ploy if hypothetically "family" is involved - how in the world would they have the time and privacy to cook this up?

You'd have to be extremely tech savvy dealing with anonymity and crypto if you're going to send an untraceable ransom note, message, email, etc. And you'd need to be ALONE. No one else around to sit and have privacy to do that in a relatively short period of time.

If an after thought it doesn't make sense. Unless premeditated but not thinking so if a family issue.

I wonder who else AG's family were connected to or olose to? Would they be protecting someone close to them?

Oh true, true. Good point. The exact time of the deadline "5 p.m." Monday wasn't revealed until now as well.

SG has law degree and decades of reporting true crime. I think SG and CG distress seems genuine. SG had a close bond with NG and I believe this is all a setup to get SG to give up her millions of dollars to what appears to me to be an inside job

Seriously people, while everyone's opinion is as valid as mine, who really thinks the SIL would do this and think he could get away with it? I mean, he'd have to know he'd be a prime suspect so he'd have to work far harder at a coverup than a third party.

I'm really thinking this looks like a kidnapping for ransom. My money is on cartels but there are plenty of other possibilities.
Imagine how crime stats would plummet if this were true!

People regularly think they can evade the law, inflated sense of ego or competency. Prisons are full of them

No, Nancy was dropped off by uber at annies and tommasos house 4 miles away, for dinner and game play, then supposably brought home by annie and tommaso or just tommaso ?

Both deadlines were in the very first note received. One deadline on Thursday and the other next Monday.

When I heard Trump's words about solving it (or whatever he said) I took it with a grain of salt as I do with every other announcement he makes!

I mean, I am not in US and this isn't political, but he just says what he needs to say at any given time, often economical with the truth.

He's getting briefed by the FBI. I really do think they are making progress here. Vehicle was caught on camera somewhere and it's just a matter of piecing the footage from the cameras together. This was done early in the morning and this vehicle will stick out like a sore thumb.

5pm eastern, central, or pacific time. The ransom demands seem bogus to me and the fact that there has been no proof of life of NG since 1/31/26 is interesting

Right, which was a 2 minute time span. And that's why I thought they just pulled up and watched her go into the garage.

Two minutes does not seem like enough time to help an 84 yr old with mobility issues, using her walker or cane.

You'd have to pull into the garage, allow time to go open her car door and help her get out of the car and grab her belongings and cane or her walker, and then slowly walk w/her into her home, turn on the lights, and say good night ... then the driver needs to walk back to their car and pull out.

Can that be done in under two minutes time?

Right, but 2 minutes is not much time to get all that done with an 84 yr old with mobility issues, imo. And I took care of my mom for several years and I know that everything takes longer when helping an 84 year old move around, etc

Yes, however the most recent timeline by Nanos said "family members' dropped Nancy off. So I'd think maybe one was driving and the other would be helping her inside if they did help her inside.

Or possibly, the just drove up, used the app to open the garage door, and watched as she entered the doorway into her home...

Per Sheriff Nanos 9:48 p.m. - Family drops Nancy off at home & garage door opens.

9:50 p.m. - Garage door closes.

I am assuming Arizona - mountain standard time - since that is where Nancy was taken (allegedly) from.

What restaurant?

I don't buy the money theories re SIL - it seems from videos online etc, that AG and SG have a good relationship. Surely if there was a need for money, they could ask SG rather than NG?? Doesn't make sense to me. Ok, teaching salaries may not be high end but far from poverty line.

An 84 year old frail woman who is in constant pain and requires a walking cane to walk cannot physically take off seatbelt, grab her belongings (purse, walking cane, maybe coat), and get out of a car and inside home via garage in 120 seconds. The front of house entry way had lights on. Why have an elderly woman enter house through garage? I think the crime started after Uber driver dropped NG off at Tucson sister's house.

No restaurant , I answered Goosy pie above. Nancy was taken by uber to Annie's and Tommaso's house for dinner and game play, as far as we know.
