I am remembering ŵhen a young woman̈ in Adelaide stabbed hqergrandfat
Have we ever had actual perps sign up and come in and converse, of course not letting us know they are the perp. Do they ever sign up and come in asking questions like trying to use this place to help them hide things or escape, like with questions that gave them away?
Many people believe that Greg Lynn in Australia did, trying to convince us of an alternate scenario.

Just my opinion, it's kinda creepy to join NG's church service, even if only virtually... Let these people have whatever normalcy they can without outsiders eavesdropping. Surely if anything truly important happens there, we'll hear about it quickly.
💯agree! Well said.

I agree. I expect the admin of the church livestream was vigilant about letting only congregants on today and will be in weeks that follow. I will take my link down @HoveringWombats

Does anyone else feel invested in this like they know her? I know I do. She somehow has captured many of our Hearts.
I feel entirely invested as well.

What could be useful is to review the church's archive of past services to verify whether NG was attending in-person versus offline (relevance being the alleged call from the churchgoer), but I imagine it would be incredibly hard to spot someone.

I asked this because I know she travels for NBC. K&R coverage is a common for those who travel to certain places in the world. Would not be unreasonable for her to have this, IMO.
Wouldn’t the insurance just be on Savannah herself though, like if she were kidnapped? I doubt it would cover anyone besides their key employees but I don’t know.

This makes me think AG and SIL are in the clear possibly. If they were involved, would they go and check so quickly? And the short time period before calling 911 seems pretty precise in terms of checking the house, noticing something is up, and quickly calling 911. I wonder what the 911 call documents.

Edit: If they were called at 11AM, and we assume they have maybe a 5-10 minute conversation on the phone, how long would it take for them to drive to NG's home? This might be academic anyway as we don't know where AG and SIL were beforehand, we can't necessarily assume they were at their home 4 miles away.

People who commit crimes sometimes pretend to find the victims and call 911. I’m not AT ALL saying this is what happened in the NG case, but it does happen.

Speaking of the 911 call, we haven’t heard a word about it either. Wonder if it’s been sealed and is being kept from the public.

Interesting conversation happening live on youtube... they said that the guy who was arrested for the "false" ransom had texted BOTH AG and TC and asked when the bitcoin was going to be deposited (or something to that effect) which implied that they were working together. This was around the 7:35-7:40pm AZ time mark. They also think this is what prompted LE to go back to AG's house to gather more evidence.

The insurance would be for the principal (i.e. SG). There would be no K&R for her family unless they were identified as a similar risk, which NG absolutely would not have been. Take for example popstar TS; she likely has K&R for her parents and sibling since they are part of her extended team and marketing and appear publicly with her.

I think the church thing never happened like so many other things, this case seems to be all messy. I really hope they have lots of evidence and are just letting perp and public think they are unorganized.

What if the people who disappeared Nancy are different people than those seeking a ransom?
That is what i am thinking. Why would a real kidnapper be so open and alert media instead of her family directly. And if she had died in their custody, why would they still be trying to get the ransom when that will result in murder charges. You would think if that was the case, they would disappear and hide.

I wonder if you can even see attendees in the livestream (even just a name). Some streams hide this information for privacy reasons, meaning it's possible even the theory that someone in a live stream noticed she wasn't attending does not stack up.

Churches keep track of attendance (both in-person and virtual) so NG's attendance habits could be verified by LE via the church, if they desire that information.

In a poignant chapter of her book, Savannah Guthrie explains how a family tradition helped her grow closer to God.

During the summers, Guthrie said her cousin Teri would stage a mock “kidnapping” – piling Savannah and her sister, Annie, into a station wagon with their cousins before embarking on a road trip from Tucson to Phoenix.

During the trip the Guthrie girls would find a payphone and call home to their mother who, she writes, “would feign shock … then assure us she’d drive up to retrieve us in a few days.”
Weirder than weird. Not normal, IMO

As the kids used to say back in the day "oh snap"

I don’t remember this being mentioned at all, but I’m behind many pages and trying to get caught up. I remember it being stated she hasn’t attended in person since COVID, but we truly don’t know this as a fact. Do you recall who posted this information?

It was stated in this NYT article that another poster shared. It is dated February 8, 2026

I hope you can read it. I had access to read it once and am no longer able to.

What the actual hell? Who jokes about kidnappings and then in an odd twist. Hmmm, wait so SIL could have done something and AG pulled a kidnapping out of her butt because she remembered that from their younger years. I am sure SG thought that was random right away.

So are LE monitoring their phones? I would think if AG and TC are involved, they wouldn't have voluntarily turned that text over. JMO
