Interesting words in SG's post. No capitals used (too aggressive?) and the 'she needs you'? I'm trying to make sense of it:

please. bring her home. we need you. she needs you. all of you.

*ETA: is the ransom/communicator threatening their own life so SG's is saying she needs you (to stay alive to keep NG alive) and 'all of you' (meaning mentally or physically?) or is SG referring to the public there?
All of SG's social media posts on this have been essentially lowercase no capitalization, which is not her usual style at all. She typically posts like a journalist, not a 20 year old girl being poetic. Probably means nothing, but some covering the case have pointed it out and wondered if it was code, or if we're just looking for stuff now.

the new video makes me think they got proof of life TBH. appealing to the public because they believe someone could see her out there.

Not sure if this has been addressed before, it may have been, but using the age old "follow the money" advice - who's to benefit from all this, financially? I don't mean necessarily from a ransom, but from all of the media coverage of this? SG possibly not returning as an anchor (and missing the Olympics)? I'm not sure I understand the full implications of all that, but something to consider

This video felt a lot less scripted. No lines that felt "coded". I doubt her words were coached by the FBI like the previous two; in fact, I wonder if LE even endorsed the idea of this video? She may have just done this on her own accord.

I feel this is a genuine appeal to be honest. I am not sure law enforcement would allow SG to go on her Instagram and make a fake national appeal for people to report to law enforcement as a means to "throw off" the perp. It would potentially clog up resources and lead to false reports. I just don't know.
IMO they have repeatedly stated the family are free to make their own decisions about responding to the note and paying the ransom.

Will hunt for link and edit it in if I find a concise one.

It also wasn't as "cryptic" as the last video posted of the three siblings, which had odd phrasing that sounded like code, and possible movie references

she seemed pretty hopeful to me
SHE SEEMS LIKE A DIFFERENT PERSON...LIKE SHE KNOWS SOME INTIMATE DETAIL THAT SHE ALMOST FEELS RESPONSIBLE??????? IT MAYBE WAS A STALKER OR SOMEONE THEY MAY HAVE IDENTIFIED, A NAME THAT CAME UP THAT RANG A BELL? I FOUND THIS LESS DESPERATE THAN THE OTHER VIDEOS, ALTHOUGH SHE SAYS SAYS THEY ARE DESPERATE. NOW, THIS MESSAGE I FOUND MUCH MORE OF AN ENIGMA...THE TONE...MOO.

There is some inconsistent body language in the video, specifically shaking her head when saying "Law enforcement is working tirelessly" and "She was taken and we don't know where". But then she nods when saying "We are at an hour of desperation". Just some micro-expressions I observed.

Not being a bitcoin user, I was curious about how bitcoin wallet addresses work. This is what Mr. Google had to say. Based on this, it seems like anyone who understands how all this works would still be able to monitor the wallet for any deposits, even if a new address was provided. I feel like a very old dog here.

In terms of sleuthing, one thing I would be very interested in this case would be some omniscient analysis of the family dynamic. How the relationships truly are, especially with AG and AG her husband TC. We'll never really know and often times even family members don't know the truth.

And why the sudden appeal to the public a week later? I know she will be under enormous stress, but something in her tone and approach seems a little more upbeat in this latest video?
Time is running out with regard to the deadline. The family is desperate. I think her tone is different because she is speaking directly from her heart, not having to use code words, etc. I don't see it as upbeat, but as desperate. Appealing to everyone to pay attention where they live and report anything unusual. My guess is that they've paid the ransom and now they are just waiting but have still no word back about their mom.

Could the FBI have closed in on the person who has been sending the ransom notes and NG is still nowhere in sight? And so SG and family are desperate for the public's help?

Oh, dear me, an aside...another Vera Stanhope! I see you've had her long er than I've been here, and if you feel I should back out of the Vera Stanhope-ness, I will gladly do so. My apologies, I'd not seen yours.
OT: No worries -- sent you a DM.

I wonder if there's any way that a company like Google can find search queries that look suspicious regarding this case. If you're the perpetrator, you probably did some web searches on the target or the address or typed in words like kidnapping or abduction into a search engine. Obviously you'd be looking into the period before NG was taken from her home.

There is a reason SG is alone in this last video, and that she appears like "herself", (to the public eye), and with direct eye contact. I can't speculate on the reason, but like some others here I sense an undertone of ....something....wrath? more than frustration and desperation, which are also preent.

If someone "sees her out there" after 8 days of capture in a super high profile media case, then I think Jesse Pinkman and his gang are behind it.

I feel like they're actually giving up on the ransom angle, based on the new video.

If it's not paid, we'll know LE and the family are leaning towards it being a hoax or coverup or something else going on. All so bizarre. Heartbreaking for the family to be toyed with like this.
"[…] No matter where you are, even if you're far from Tucson, if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there's anything at all that seems strange to you […]"

At first, I thought SG was taking a different tack and abandoning the idea of paying the ransom. But perhaps she's asking for people to report anything they hear to do with the BTC transfer, if they can. Someone expecting that transfer, receiving it, transferring it onward.

MOO:

If they are investigating a particular person or group, then yes. They can take a look at search history for incriminating stuff. If they have no starting point, it is not practical to scour all search traffic to try to find queries of interest. I don't think this is a viable path of investigation without first narrowing it to a suspect or person of interest.

"Hi there everybody. Um, I wanted to come on and just share a few thoughts as we enter into another week of this nightmare. Um, I just want to say first of all thank you so much for all of the prayers and the love that we have felt, my sister and brother and I. And that our mom has felt. Because we believe that somehow, some way she is feeling these prayers and that God is lifting her even in this moment and in this darkest place.

We believe our mom is still out there. We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly, around the clock, trying to bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken and we don't know where. And we need your help. So I'm coming on just to ask you not just for your prayers but no matter where you are, even if you're far from Tucson, if you see anything, if you hear anything, if there's anything at all that seems strange to you, that you report to law enforcement. We are at an hour of desperation. And we need your help."
Thank you for the transcript. It seems to me that SG is conveying something in a veiled way--maybe LE is targeting a location 1 hour from Tucson specifically? - "We are at an hour of desperation" sounds off to me.

Sorry if too far-fetched.

Note she says MOM -- not MOTHER as in the last video with her siblings....
