Sorry I don't have the OP, but is it the case that LE can get a sealed warrant and NOT tell the subjects of the warrant (in this case, AG and TC) of its existence? How would they search the home otherwise (assuming LE didn't get consent, which I understand they did here).

I also sort of agree with those who said the searches of the homes again tonight could be a distraction to real work underway elsewhere.. and not clearing the family (TC specifically) could also be intentional, if they're trying to make someone else comfortable. At the same time, I see a reason to clear family quickly to avoid escalating rumors. Not sure.

With regard to the night searches of the homes again, if legitimate, I could see why searching with similar lighting conditions as the the night NG disappeared to be helpful - where are shadows cast or not, where is there lighting, what is visible (or not)? What are the noises like from the road, etc.
Yes, the sealing of the warrant keeps it hidden from public and the person(s) listed in the warrant.
If consent refused, LE would inform they have a warrant. The difference is an unsealed warrant will show you the details. The sealed warrant just says they can search.

Usually consent is best way to go in sealed warrant situations as they are sealed for a reason.

do we know for sure that it wasn't sent to the guthries or LE?
It was reported multiple places that the ransom notes were sent to 3 news stations. No mention of being sent to the family or LE

Has the Uber driver been cleared?

Question. How long would a bike ride take from AG house to NG house at say 1:30am with no traffic and back roads?
I am an old time cyclist who has bike halfway across the US. Answer: it depends on age, ability, distance, type of bike (ebike today vs regular models). I would say a male would probably bike 15 mph on a regular bike with little problems over a shorter distance. I had wondered if a bike was involved. Obviously, not with NG.

If they declare them suspects before a body, they can mess it up. Its a process and you want a conviction in the end.
Suspects in a kidnapping. Charges can be upgraded later.

She didn’t want to drive to her daughter’s house and took Uber instead?
Maybe she has issues driving at night?

I've been looking at maps and thinking about where the Perps would have gone with Nancy. And yes, it would have taken more than one person in my opinion. I'm including a link to instant street view / aerial view, plus a section I annotated. There is lots of areas very near to her house where she could have been deposited, if in fact that is what happened to her. I don't think they would have headed in the direction of Tucson. Too risky. Here's where I would go looking.

As always, just amateur opinion and speculation.

Has the Uber driver been cleared?
They interviewed her and it seems she was. I know it was in a MSM article posted way, way back on this thread.

If they didn't have a search warrant than anything they found would likely be barred from evidence at trial.
Evidence collected during this "consensual" period is generally admissible in court because the residents waived their Fourth Amendment rights voluntarily

that doesn't confirm they didn't receive it though. i think it's within the realm of plausibility that LE/family did receive one but didn't publicize it so kidnappers sent it to MSM. this also goes along with my earlier comment that the motive potentially had less to do with money than it did an obsession with savannah.

YALL...she might've taken an Uber because she wanted to have a drink at dinner...maybe she just didn't want to drive...maybe sil and ag were fixing dinner and it was easier for her to Uber there...
This is said in my perimenopause alabama accent...and just my opinion. But my eye is twitching again with the Uber speculating....😵‍💫
I read this in an accent too. I got my laugh icon taken away, but wanted to tell u this was hilarious!

Thats because the news stations disclosed it.

As aggravated as it gets sometimes, I truly believe we are all here to support Nancy and bring justice for whatever has happened.
Imho

Yes.
See here:
Nancy Guthrie Case

Has anyone been cleared in Nancy's case?

Did some digging.

The Uber driver that dropped Nancy at her daughter Annie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni's home the night before she went missing was cleared of suspicion according to the sheriff on Thursday, 2/5/26. Show more

Fwiw I have a relative that drives during the day, but is no longer comfortable driving at night so they Uber if they'll be returning after dark.

I don't know if this is the case with her, but it's not uncommon for older people to give up night driving long before giving it up completely.

I know it doesn’t confirm it one way or another but what I meant is there is no way anyone here would be able to answer that since it hasn’t been specifically confirmed or denied.

Also, I feel like this would be a very, very complicated way to get SG’s attention if someone was obsessed with her. MOO

The ransom note was sent directly to media outlets not the Guthrie's or FBI (which was one of many atypical characteristics of this "kidnapping')

TMZ, along with local Tuscon TV stations were the recipients and forwarded it to the FBI, so Levin/TMZ know all the details.

The media outlets know what was said in the letters. They DID NOT know if that information was true or not, nor did they have the right to know and subsequently leak that information. LE flat out gave TMZ privleged information if what Levin says is true.
