Oh, I like BE , but, I could tell when AB was giving her scoop on TC and the car being towed , he was like WT?? and he was right there at 1 of the properties. He said, oh I haven't heard that, both about the car and suspect. There's so very few you can count on anymore !
Let’s see if he has her back on, bet that’s a hard no, lol.

Although you probably can't read anything into the fact that the deadline passed without the ransom being paid, and that the tone of SG's latest (and solo) video almost had an undercurrent of anger to it, if I WERE to read anything into it, it would be that SG may think she knows who kidnapped her mother.

Obviously I could be way wrong..

I have an older brother and a younger sister, and I can't say enough good things about either one. We grew up very close and remain close to this day (we are in our mid-late 60's). We know each other very well.

Not long after this thread began I started wondering: if the three of us were in the same room together over and over - in the same tense circumstances that SG, AG, TC, and CG have been in this week - would I be able to tell if one of them (and/or their spouse) had kidnapped and perhaps murdered our mother?

I'm sure it's different for each family and for different siblings with different age spacing, but my answer has always been, yes.

What do you guys think?

Jmo
I've thought the same things and have thought about the sibling dynamic compared to my own family. But we also have only seen small glimpses into the G sibling relationships. I just don't feel like we know enough about them to speculate.

Wonder if they can do geofencing in that area to see what cell phones were in the area at the time of the activity linked to her being taken. Or maybe they are following up on that if it was done?
Very helpful idea.

If they didn't have a search warrant than anything they found would likely be barred from evidence at trial.
Evidence is admissible if the resident consents to the search.

  • #16,087
So can the scenario still be true that they already DID have a sealed warrant to search, and then asked consent, and they said yes, so then technically the search was due to an informal consent by AG/SIL, not a warrant?
OR ask for consent and at the same time explain why they’d also like a warrant. I’m really confused about the warrant issue. My take is the warrant is a good thing in terms of a future trial. Any findings with only a consent could be argued against, while a warrant is solid? In this situation would LE prefer a sealed or unsealed warrant? Help me here. Do we even know if a warrant has happened here?

Nancy was expected at a friend's house.....not church

On Feb. 1, Nancy did not arrive at her friend’s house as expected to watch the livestream. Concerned, the friend contacted Annie — Nancy’s daughter and Savannah Guthrie’s sister — to report that Nancy had not shown up and could not be reached.

The source emphasized that Nancy was expected to be at her friend’s home that morning, not at a Tucson church, and said the circumstances surrounding her absence have been inaccurately described in some coverage.

Thank you very much for this quality journalistic piece, with accurate and to the point news statement.
The statement of fact of this short article from a reputable and authorized source clears confusion about the time line, which confusion caused so much speculations and anguish for people who truly care about Savannah's mother.

Also, perhaps the "friend" called Annie and T instead of Savannah because the "friend" knew that Annie is local.

What still is of concern is that the early report about the initial ransom demand was addressed to Annie and T instead of Savannah. Knowing that Savannah is much more affluent with multi-millions $$$ and the ransom amount is large, it seems logical to ransom Savannah instead of Annie.

Amplified by the unusual involvement of TMZ and other msm, why would kidnappers call national attention to this case if they just want quick money and ... disappear with the money?

Maybe and this is just a MAYBE, since she was supposably long time friends with SG, Sg asked her to leave the investigation to the REAL experts. As far as I'm concerned AB doesn't need to profit off of a "very" good friend. Sometimes you have to draw the line. AB originally caused a big ruckus with her so called , bombshell.😢
See below this may explain why AB in her latest podcast does not update us on her sources info about the son in law. JMO

I think the distance depends on the specific pacemaker and app, but it would not be very far. As for if it would still record data… it would only record data while there is electrical activity within the heart, I would think BUT I’m not sure. That’s an interesting thought and question and something I hope they considered
I just happened to see former FBI investigator Robin Dreeke suggest the same thing on a Hidden Killers YouTube. He said that the pacemaker would still connect even if she had passed. He said that it would need to be very close though. Within 100 feet or less. Reference video of discussion of Pacemaker connection

Interesting another camera was found and removed (from guest house facing her driveway). It was missed on the other 6 or so searches?

When I drove by on the Monday after the alert went out, there was a white car beside the guesthouse and nothing else there. No police, no sheriff, no security... It was strange really. She is part of our CFHA (Catalina Foothills Homeowner's Association) and also in our Nextdoor area and she posted in November 2025 asking for camera recommendations.

It's surreal I have been here for 5+ years and suddenly, less than a mile from my home we are talking about this bizarre case. Like many of you have repeated over the hundreds of pages, it seems odd and burdensome to kidnap an 84 y/o with mobility issues.

Michael Ruiz has done some very strong investigative journalism and unearthed a Special Durable POA from last year as well as, a camera that was on the guest house on February 6th, yet as of yesterday is gone. How does this happen with all of the media camped out in front of the house?

Micael Ruiz from Fox News posted this on X. For some reason the link will not work when I embed it in the text.

If this has been posted, I did not see it in the media timeline.

Thank you for sharing. Interesting that Nancy was looking at cameras not too long ago. Your link doesn’t work for me?

any drones up tonight at either NG or AG's properties - any activity?

Is there a way for the moderators to "pin" a post on top of this thread/discussion that includes a timeline with verified information (and citations)... that can be updated as needed?

[I'm new here - sorry if this is a dumb question!]
There's already a separate thread for news stories only, no comments allowed.

I have not seen any reliable sources report this. All I have seen is people confused by the hoax ransom text sent by the individual who was already arrested, who did send only to AG and TC. I think that's plausibly explained by their phone numbers being much easier to get than SG's, but since this is pretty clearly not related to the other aspects of the case, it's not really relevant anyway.

Curious if there is another source that I'm not aware of.

Just my opinions here.

From what I understand the Special Durable POA from last year has to do with the purchase of their home, one couldn't be there to sign . I've had to do one many years ago, same situation. I think it's only good for a VERY short time,

Folks, it's Tucson not Tuscon!
Lol, in the Tucson subreddit on Reddit, there's this bot that jumps in every time someone spells it wrong (Tuscon, etc.) to correct them. It's relentless.

What does this mean? Only Fox News can be used as a source for this case or Fox News cannot be used as a source for any case except this one?
It means exactly what she said (6 times).

FOX NEWS WILL BE ALLOWED AS A SOURCE FOR THIS CASE ONLY.

Here is post 1 of 6: AZ - Nancy Guthrie, 84, (mother of TODAY Show host Savannah Guthrie) missing - last seen in the Catalina foothills area on Jan 31, 2026

And scratch the word "only" in your post. She's allowing it, in addition to other approved sources. It's not the only allowed source.
