I don't know what the post you were responding to is about, since it's so short, but I don't know why you went that direction in your response. In my experience, word salad is more often used in politics, when politicians are talking out of their you-know-what. It appears to afflict all political parties world wide, and does not necessarily indicate any sort of neurological disorder. Unless you count talking out of someone's you-know-what to be a disorder. In which case a large percentage of the world's population is affected. 😂😂
I was responding to someone that mentioned a quote from a politician. :)

With ransom time passing, imo, something tragic happened to NG and this was not a kidnapping, but a coverup to conceal the tragic event. I believe NG would need more than 2 minutes to be properly dropped off at around 9:47, and I see the 9:47 or so garage time as a quick in and out to leave NG purse and phone. I think NG may have come home a different time, but not the garage open and close time. I still see this as an intimate, someone NG knew and trusted encounter. Like at 84 years of age, one would assume she did not live alone at night, especially being in constant pain, having heart condition, and requiring walker or other assistance for mobility. Someone who did this to NG was close to her imo and knew her routine, habits, and care team. I think the ransom letters were all fake and not related to the crime. 40 mins of activity starting around 1:30am also seems staged.
Good points. I do wonder if the Uber driver would have recollection of whether NG was wearing the watch or whether the apple watch itself could provide LE info on its path on the day of the missing event? The disconnection of the apple watch from the pacemaker and the time that is reported to have occurred is something that I'm trying to understand. I would think that the apple watch could provide its location to LE at the time of disconnection and we haven't heard this info from LE and this question wasn't asked at one of the press conferences so far.

I still question if NG ever returned home and what we saw yesterday with LE returning at night and taking pictures at AG house was to prove out the narrative (or not) as to NG being returned home by her SIL as I believe was previously reported.

I'm reposting to clarify.

There is nothing normal about this case. The son-in-law may have been the last person to see Nancy alive. The sheriff has not cleared anyone, and he has also stated there are no “prime suspects” at this time.

Because no one has been cleared, discussion is allowed. However, it must be done using initials only.

SHERIFF REFUSES TO RULE OUT SG'S BROTHER, ACCORDING TO NYP.

The reason is simple. If someone is discussed as a possible suspect and their full name is repeated over and over, it follows them forever. Google does not forget. Using initials helps protect innocent people from long-term harm if they are ultimately not involved.

This situation is unprecedented for Websleuths. We are dealing with a kidnapping in which a family member was reportedly the last person to see Nancy. Shutting down the discussion of the people closest to Nancy and those who last saw her would effectively end the thread.

We are doing the best we can to balance open discussion with protecting innocent people. It is not a perfect system, but ultimately, we are a true-crime discussion forum, and when law enforcement has not cleared anyone and has not named a prime suspect, discussion must be allowed—carefully and responsibly.

Tricia

SG’s brother-in-law .... SG's brother is Aces :)

Yes, the garage door opening for 2 min is also a question mark as you point out. The other thing is that NG had been out for awhile, had dinner with family, allegedly played game/s and I bet she was tired and ready to go to sleep as she was 84 years old.

Given the mobility issues of NG, I'm not sure she could make it from a car parked in the driveway and in through then garage entrance in 2 min.? It seems like it would be an able bodied person that would enter/exit the house via the garage and so I wonder if the 2 min garage door open/close was someone exiting the house to the driveway and not NG entering the house and returning from AG house.

Somehow I just cannot shake the idea that NG might have never returned home. The Uber ride from her house to AG house when the live so close to each other also seems odd and frankly unexplained by LE too. So many questions.
The only thing is, what about the disconnection of her pacemaker and the app on her cell early in the morning. since they have her phone. I'm sure they did all the necessary tracking and stuff to see when the last time it moved, but they have never said anything about that phone leaving the house after she got home.

From my recollection that audio is dispatch passing statistics on to PD
It was definitely dispatch sending the police to go to the house.

I agree about the searches serving as distractions. I think it’s just “busy work” to give the appearance that local LE is doing due diligence, while the real nuts and bolts of the investigation — the technology and DNA analysis — is being conducted by the FBI. JMO. ETA: I hope I’m wrong about that and the locals solve the case.
I haven't been able to catch up on anything that happened Monday until now. Is it even known if whatever LE has been doing at the residences is actually any kind of "search?" I haven't seen any mention of search warrants, and usually there is a record of them, even if the actual document(s) are sealed. I know that searches can be conducted without a warrant if permission is given, but typically LE will pursue warrants anyway, to cover their legal bases for any evidence discovered.

If it was an accidental or unintentional death but she is never found, it would be more difficult to prosecute (motive to remove body). Sad to write that out and hoping that isn't the case, but it makes more sense than a kidnapping/ransom, at least to me.

I agree I don't understand that part at all, especially given my own speculation that she never returned home.

The conversations here/online regarding how the tech all works together also makes my head spin, which adds to the confusion 😢

I'm not sure if this is too out there but I've thought perhaps there was a family argument at AG's house that escalated (I'm not sure if there was any history of DV or family tension, I imagine that wouldn't be public knowledge, but we know that was the case with Gabby Petito for example and usually there is a history when it's family violence) and then the "scene" found at NG's home was actually created later as a "cover up". Family would have access and knowledge as to the layout of security, lighting, etc.

I truly can't imagine the motives of a family unaliving or the type of person who could do that, but sadly it does happen. I also wonder if that's the case if it escalated quickly and was an unintentional homicide. Also if NG had heart issues if there could have been an episode. But, I think that would have been easily determined given her pacemaker.

All just speculation/MOO
I also believe that NG disappearance was not at NG's house but at the location NG was after Uber driver dropped her off. 6pm dinner and then games til 9:30pm just does not add up to me, especially since no family member helped NG into the house to get her ready for bed and make sure house was safe, secure, all doors locked, lights out, etc. IMO, the house had to be vacant for all the activity to happen around the 1:30am to 2:30am activities. No robber or perpetrator would be smashing cameras, breaking and entering, leaving doors open, stealing ring cameras, ang then removing a frail, 84 year old woman with heart and mobility issues out of bed and away from house. I hope Uber driver was able to identify NG was the woman in the car at 5:32pm.

Some great points brought up tonight that made me think. The FBI traced the hoax ransom guy FAST. I think they have been trying to buy time in an attempt to trace the “real” ransomer but have been unable to thus far. Someone previously suggested this is a sign the ransom note sender is more sophisticated with their cyber crimes and ability to evade the FBI this long. I think once the deadline passed, they didn’t hear anything more from the perp(s), SG was like enough I’m making a video pleading to everyone in the country to look and help.

Someone posted earlier that it is interesting that she took an Uber to the home and not back home. I never thought about the potential implications of that, but it is an interesting notion for sure. If a plan was made to harm her by the last known folks to have seen her, then her car being at their home would have been an inconvenient issue for them to reconcile post-harm.

Having said this, LE has given no indications that she was not harmed/removed from her own home in the early morning hours. In fact, they've stated the opposite if I recall correctly. It's a critical piece of information, and they disclosed it publicly and from the get go. While they can certainly lie to us, I don't think they would lie so brazenly. I think they would've been far more ambiguous.

JMO.

BIG APOLOGY PLEASE READ

I want to apologize for how I handled things yesterday.

There is a great deal that goes on behind the scenes that most of you never see. It can be incredibly frustrating to repeatedly post instructions, only to have them ignored, and then have to remove hundreds of posts because the rules were not followed. Many of you may not even see those posts due to how quickly the thread moves.

Yesterday, when I posted the same message multiple times in a row, it came from a place of real frustration over the continued rule violations. That frustration got the better of me.

However, none of that is an excuse. I should have handled it differently, and I take responsibility for that.

I am working on finding a better way to make important moderator posts more visible and easier to follow so we can avoid this situation in the future.

And yes — I have been informed (by certain unnamed moderators who may or may not answer to “SillyBilly”) that if I throw another public hissy fit, I will be timed out. Fair is fair.

Thank you for your patience.
Tricia
No apology necessary in my opinion. I thought the repetition was funny - we know better than to discuss moderation issues in forum, so if you play with fire …

Agreed, I never gave it a second thought. Since I'm impatient, am always hitting enter multiple times so I thought it was accidental!

Does anyone wonder if NG never truly left the house of AG and that what happened was someone who knew the codes drove back to the house and dropped off the Apple Watch and that is how the people that wrote the ransom note had details about its location and why it disconnected in the early morning as listed on the timeline? I really wonder why Uber was used to deliver NG to the house and was this a typical process for the family when the two houses were so close together? This Uber ride would also mean that whoever orchestrated this event would not have to deal with NG car as it would remain in her garage.

I just keep thinking also about the odd blood placement on the front steps and its concentrated location precisely on the stoop and not going down the front walkway. Was what was on the front stoop really blood or something else? What was the scene inside the house? Could whoever went inside the house have been searching for something and that is what took the 40 min or so that was in the timeline?

From the Sunday am meeting with friends to view the church service as a group (vs watching local church service online) to when NG was 'discovered' to be missing, frankly not much is making sense imo.
I don't think NG ever left the house that Uber driver dropped her off at. I am beginning to think perhaps the blood droplets happened a diferent day and NG just didn't clean it up.

Yah. regarding the pacemaker + devices (phone/watch) apps, this is what I am stuck on regarding alternative to official timing...

There is data that pacemaker last synced with device at 2.28am when it's supposed Ms Guthrie was moved away from home.

So my understanding is the app on device that syncs with pacemaker also sends alarm or saves data if there is a catastrophic event, ie heart stops. If it was syncing with the device, how did app not pick up there was no heart activity

Following my search result: A pacemaker that is properly synced with a smartphone app can detect if the heart stops (cardiac arrest) or experiences other serious arrhythmia events. If a pacemaker detects a serious event, such as a heart stoppage, it typically records this in its memory and, if properly connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone app, transmits this data to a clinic.

So it's proven it synced in the early hours, does this not indicate that Ms Guthrie hadn't passed earlier on Sat night...

Wow I just discovered that the Arizona DPS website lists an approximate time the family was alerted that Nancy had not shown up for church. (Online services at her friend's home we now know)

"At approximately 12:15 on 02/01/2026, family was alerted that Nancy had not shown up for church."

If this time is right then this would mean that LE has info that the family was "looking" for Nancy BEFORE the friend's alert went out.

This may be why the time of the friend's contact was left off of the February 5th presser because they would have had to state that the time the family started looking for Nancy 11:56 a.m. and the time the family contacted Police 12:03 p.m. was BEFORE the friend's alert at approximately 12:15 p.m.

Is that not the time the Alert was released...

Official timeline states "Pima County Sheriff’s Department patrols arrive at her home by 12:15 p.m."

I think possibly in this instance it's a slight mix-up in timing - report called in when patrol arrives.

At the risk of stating the obvious.

Why would 90% of the general public and cyber sleuths have NOT concluded that the messages from supposed kidnapper(s) were bogus given the delay in producing Proof of Life?

Or that that they ONLY know where Nancy's remains are. A likelihood her three adult children have come to grudgingly resign themselves to.

In other news, what about the fact the FBI Director is now in Arizona fueling expectations (hopes) that a possible arrest is looming.

JMO we could do with fewer retired LE pundits with no inside information putting out theories on this case.
Yes, but some of these ex-fbi people are at liberty to point out logical but unproven details that LE cannot discuss right now that some viewers may be interested in hearing. I like to filter through those ideas.
Ex-fbi Maureen O'Connell's comments today that she doubts that this was ever a kidnapping aligns with my own Theory.
At about the 4 minute mark on this video

I can’t help but wonder if it’s a situation of a family/friend leach who bled ng dry financially and maybe that’s what the dinner was about. Maybe some persons where the trustee and they where being informed of a change or asked about things not being paid… MOO
