What does anyone think about the shoe size? The body looks like a male, but eyes look female.

I think you're right. It's multiple masks or multiple parts of masks and possible layering of said masks.Oh wow. I feel like you can see the edge of a second mask on the eyelid on the right eye. Unless this person has very prominent lids.
My Maybelline doesn't work that well.Maybe he's born with it?
LOLL. TBF, my baby daddy has very long lashes and almond eyes (it’s not him ha). Some men just do.Maybe he's born with it?
I am just baffled by the activity with the plant before he presumably destroyed the camera...That facial hair is pretty distinctive. I imagine he started shaving the second this was released.
If not before.
Could also be fake I guess.

I agree. He seemed a bit caught off guard by the camera and slowly tried to figure out a way to block it. He seems quite well prepared except for that part which leads me to think he had not been casing the house for days or weeks prior. He looks like a burglar who decided to rob a random house… so why did he take an 84 yr old woman… and seemingly nothing else?? How horrifying for NGI didn’t really buy into the ransom theory, but I can’t think of any other motive after seeing this…
Or the mask could be reversible and the other side could be a solid color which is giving the appearance of eyebrowsOh wow. I feel like you can see the edge of a second mask on the eyelid on the right eye. Unless this person has very prominent lids.
There would be evidence of the murder in the house. I don't think LE has said anything to point to that.
I think the backpack has a change of clothes, rope, possibly foot covers as fibers from a car, home, etc would be picked up in the house.
If this wasn't so scary, it would be goofy! What the heck?I am just baffled by the activity with the plant before he presumably destroyed the camera...
no but some are stuck on SILDE is the SIL's bandmate. While I guess it could be him, the family says they don't recognize the guy in the photos/videos. Also, DE lacks the facial hair and as far as I can tell has prominent ears. I could be wrong, but I don't think it looks like the guy has large ears under that ski mask.

Why would someone bring a body bag?
Real night vision is hella expensive. Why would he want to expose his eyes and mouth? Like why not wear night vision glasses? Also, not cold in Tucson and he seems to wear such padded clothing.
This perp looks younger than late 40s/50s too imo, which would exclude him.DE is the SIL's bandmate. While I guess it could be him, the family says they don't recognize the guy in the photos/videos. That holster makes me think about the hair scissor holster.A gun in an oddly positioned holster, apparently.

No. Just reading that tells you no holsters and inside the waistband.Hoping some of my fellow gun owners will chime on this type of carry. Is this what we're seeing on the Nest photos/videos?
"Mexican carry" refers to the practice of carrying a handgun inside the waistband (IWB) without a holster, typically positioned at the front (appendix position). The term originated in the 19th and early 20th centuries and refers to the habits of Mexican vaqueros (cowboys) and civilians. [1, 2, 3]
Here is why it is called "Mexican carry":
While the term is synonymous with "appendix carry" today, modern "Mexican carry" specifically highlights the lack of a holster, which is generally considered unsafe with modern pistols due to the risk of the trigger being snagged. [4, 5, 6]
- Historical Context (19th-Early 20th Century): During times of political instability and restrictive gun laws in Mexico, citizens often defied bans on carrying firearms.
- Defiance of Restrictions: To avoid being caught with a holster—which would be obvious evidence of carrying a weapon to authorities (Federales)—men would simply tuck their revolvers into their waistband behind their belt.
- Convenience and Stealth: This method allowed them to quickly discard the weapon, if necessary, and retrieve it later.
- Cultural Origin: The term is considered a historical reference to the practices of Mexican vaqueros and citizens of that era, rather than a derogatory term, notes firearms expert Massad Ayoob. [1, 2, 3, 4]

But there is a holster, people noticed it is actually mismatched to the gun that's in it
