I'm seriously considering forcing members pass a media literacy course before being allowed to post.

Do we suspect there are clips of Nancy also, we’re just not being shown?
Maybe, but not from the same doorbell camera.

Nail on the head. Poor holster, poor location. This person has no idea what they’re doing.
the way they struggled to cover the camera makes me think this person is not a seasoned criminal. Yes, they came very prepared in terms of concealing their identity and fingerprints etc. But they really struggled with the camera. Using the flowers was weird. Like obviously that wasn’t going to work.

I apologize if this was already covered but I have not seen anyone carry a gun quite like that. I would expect concealed or on the side. Any gun enthusiasts think a certain type of person wears their gun like that? Almost makes me think this isn't a seasoned gun person. Thoughts?
I'm thinking they had things in their pockets that they needed to get to? That's as good as I got! Lol!

Do we know, forgive for what is probably the dumbest question ever, what flowers grow by the walkway at NG's house?
Lantana, per many WSers from the desert Southwest.

Retired crime experts have already commented that it isn't.

Looks like the subject in the photo got their entire outfit from Walmart. Cheap Ozark backpack, ski mask, etc. Nearest walmart is just a couple minutes from Nancy's road.

I think he looks like one of the solar salespeople scammers. I mentioned them in a post above. I don't mean to imply that all solar salespeople are scammers, but in our neighborhood (55+ Arizona) we have scammers who approach re: solar and also pest control.
We get roof companies

IMO…I’ve watched the videos well over 20 times now and ALL thats coming to me is this was set up to look amateurish. I’ve probably watched to many Netflix series, but suspect masks his face (appears to me 2 masks), wears thick gloves, backpack in tow, light source in mouth, gun in holster and oopsie Woopsie I forgot to bring something to cover the camera? “Oh, looky here, some flowers that’ll do the job”?
I feel the "set up to look amateurish", too. Add in a POSSIBLE fake moustache/goatee, add in a weirdly holstered gun (left or right handed??)... distract, distract, distract, IMOO!!!!

The video is of the suspect removing the camera, right? Assuming he did this before he went in the house and took her, I’d think there is no more video unless there’s another camera they can pull it from…
MOO

SAR near Annie’s house-What are they looking for in the yards? Garages etc.? Weapon?

Someone mentioned many pages back the perp may have slept outside before the crime and things in the backpack might be what is in there. But why bring that into the house when you know you’re taking N out? Doesn’t make sense. Had to be bringing in things needed to secure her hands etc. IMO

Yet they were able to pull this off thus far? Poor holster placement and a bouquet of flowers for camouflage….this is crazy!

They are Lantanas

I saw similarities between physical traits of the person and the photos released, but respect the rules
But they are not suspects at this time. We need to use discretion and not implicate innocent people.

If they had many layers on it might be hard to holster it on the side.
That's what my husband thought, too. The clothing bulk limited his "holstering" options.

I know nothing about flowers but someone said the other day they were a type that started with L (idr the name, sorry) and that they smell like cat pee

Question for the guys who have carried guns before - is that a comfortable / uncomfortable place to wear one?

I’m a female so no crotch issues here, though it’s odd.
I’m also diabetic with a pump on one side and a sensor on the other of my stomach so dunno if that would influence me (never carried a gun before)

I have a feeling that this is going to be solved sooner rather than later. This was a big break. I’m sure they now know the time frame of the person and are looking to see if they made any stops (gas station or store) in the area. I doubt they would have stopped in with their face covered. That would stand out to people. People would remember that.

I’m not a visual person, I’m verbal/linguistic, so I believe I’d have trouble noticing some aspects in the images.

However, if it were someone I knew well, I’m pretty sure it would leap out at me.

A gait IMO is a big tell, because I assume it’s more difficult to hide than one’s face with a mask. Unless he stuffed his shoes with something, I suppose.

I also know next to nothing about guns, as most of us in NYC who are not part of the criminal element or LE don’t have them.

I appreciate, therefore, those of you who are familiar and are trying to identify his handedness by his holster.

I thought the same.
