That's nearly an hour from NG's.

That would be a very (very) long way to go to pick up a 4 mile Uber fare.
But he might stay with friends in larger town and drive there weekends when he is off shift from other job

She shouldn't be talking, sorry. I'm sure she's in shock, but no need to talk. (Though I want the perp caught and convicted)

i don't think BE should be interviewing her either. bad form. he could end up cleared by LE by the time they're done questioning him, but now people will be probing into him and his family. i'm not comfortable with that until LE formally names him as a POI.

It would not have taken LE 10 days to detain and execute a search warrant of the person who drove NG to her daughter’s house the night of her disappearance. MOO

Subject waiting for a tax refund to rent a room. This is not an experienced bitcoin kidnapper.

Yeah, it's very unfortunate to now have this name being repeated over and over on multiple national news networks.

I am positing that somebody gave the man seen in the Nest Cam a key. Or told him where a key was hidden, and that’s why he backed up and rifled under a bush.

There was no force entry, so he had to have had a key to get in. Nobody is opening the door for a stranger in the middle of the night!
Your opinion? Your speculation?

I'm uncomfortable about it too. She is uninformed about the case and perhaps about the law.

There’s someone with a matching name in the Rio Rico Facebook group with a completely wiped profile.
Hmmmmm... why would someone wipe their profile...?

She said he works during the week in Tucson for UPS.

I wondered the same. He has not been arrested.
I question if it’s ethical for the reporters to put his name out there right now, but IMO now that it’s out on national news, there’s not much we can do to put the cat back in the bag, or however the expression goes.

Would like to know where his route is. I've had the same UPS guy for years and we have friendly interactions. Was he familiar with NG and her home?

Do you have an age? I found one guy and I need to see if he fits the age. If he does....wow.
There's two of them. Father and son, possibly. Yeah, the dad. ugh. IMO

I didn’t say he was that guy. Just that he might work/drive in that area. NG could have gotten food delivered, Instacart, anything. These drivers often work for different services and track different incoming orders.

The media attention alone would be a motivator, guilty or not. I sure as heck would and I'm not involved in any crimes.

I'm thinking Door Dash guy might be Ransom Guy but not Masked Intruder?

jmo
IMHO - possibly but if so may still have info as to who masked intruder is as ransom guy did apparently have some info about the home and if so I hope he quickly gives up any names and info he has.

Where are you watching Brian?

I’m so torn here - obviously not wise for her to be talking but BE has always, especially throughout this case, reported with the utmost integrity. I’m inclined to believe she was out there and speaking and BE gave her the platform she was seeking rather than him compelling her to speak. I truly think she has nothing to hide and wants to be heard.

Maybe distinction without difference - but I think BE operates with excellent ethics so I’m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt.
