I think mom might have wised up while talking to reporters. She just gave him an alibi for Saturday night / Sunday morning (all night per her).
Except when she said ‘I’m pretty sure’ about him not leaving the house that night. And also saying the van broke down on Friday.

Hopefully someone will post a full video of the interview. I don't want to try to write up or summarize any more of what was said, because I don't want to risk mischaracterizing anything.
I'll try to get a recording after it's done.

Watching the CNN interview with the mother of the detainee, and I am more confused now than I was before.
What on earth???
Just rescheduled tomorrow mornings appointment because I'm in this for the long haul tonight.
Hoping for the best - that Nancy is found safe and returned to her loved ones.
IMO.

Entin showed the interviewee the photos from the security camera and she claims it looks nothing like the subject who is detained.

Do you have an age? I found one guy and I need to see if he fits the age. If he does....wow.
There’s someone with a matching name in the Rio Rico Facebook group with a completely wiped profile.

RIGHT NOW: a woman has walked up to me saying that her house is currently under investigation. She claims her son-in-law was detained by authorities.Things are changing by the minute in the search for Nancy Guthrie @abc15

That's nearly an hour from NG's.

That would be a very (very) long way to go to pick up a 4 mile Uber fare.
I thought about that. BUT IMHO it's reasonable to think that maybe he picked up shifts in the busier city of Tucson that his actual town.

Carlos Parasuelos (or similar) is the name of the subject, per his mother in law to Brian Entin.
Wow. MIL giving up all the goods.

She shouldn't be talking, sorry. I'm sure she's in shock, but no need to talk. (Though I want the perp caught and convicted)

is it ethical to be reporting this person's name before it's even been released by LE?
I wondered the same. He has not been arrested.

IS that a WHITE van?

I don’t think it’s that one. He’s 56 and MOO but I doubt this woman has a 56 year old son in law

But he might stay with friends in larger town and drive there weekends when he is off shift from other job

i don't think BE should be interviewing her either. bad form. he could end up cleared by LE by the time they're done questioning him, but now people will be probing into him and his family. i'm not comfortable with that until LE formally names him as a POI.

It would not have taken LE 10 days to detain and execute a search warrant of the person who drove NG to her daughter’s house the night of her disappearance. MOO
