I think the MIL's changing stories is actually due to the confusion of same name father/son.
Sounds like father was detained at traffic stop and cops crashed through door while son was playing Nintendo.

“My daughter and he, and the kids, my grandkids, were doing DoorDash when they got stopped here,” Josefina told NewsNation of her son-in-law’s detainment.

I thought the detainee at the traffic stop was her son in law?
And that the person playing video games was her son, who also lives there?

It is not unusual for LE to temporarily handcuff everyone while they execute a search. Doesn’t mean game-playing son is a POI.

If anyone hears what the life flight that landed in Tucson that i posted about upthread was for, please message me and let me know. Sometimes local news has information about accidents etc. In my opinion, I will not completely rule out that the flight was carrying ng until sg confirms that her mother has not been located or until I see a news story about someone being life flighted from the area in which i watched the helicopter on radar.
They aren't going to discuss people in a hospital who aren't NG. They don't do that. No one will discuss this unless it's her. So we won't hear anything. I live near several hospitals and some involving long distance transport. No they don't go around discussing unless there is a police report (auto accident). The flight was to Tucson, which isn't exactly podunk. We get several dozen a night around here.

But then why were they taking her to begin with?

That's the thing about this...

It wasn't a violent home invasion or a robbery.

From what we know, they didn't 'rob her house' - and their wasn't evidence of a violent attack inside the home.

It seems that someone went into the home, stole her away - hurt her enough that she left blood stains outside (but no where else).
It seems that the entire objective of all of this was Nancy's abduction.
There were reports on blood in the house. This certainly was a violent attack They didn't just escort her out to a car.

The flight was not related to this case.... an announcement was posted a few pages ago

I can totally see a delivery driver committing this crime. They are not in the direct extended circle of the victim to be directly suspected but know the victim's name because the delivery addressed to her. Guthrie is an uncommon name. Can see the driver put two and two together - NG is SG's mom! Here is an opportunity to commit the "perfect crime", get millions in ransom and not even be suspected of it. There are enough suspects in NG's circle that he must have felt safe they wouldn't catch a delivery driver who stopped by for a delivery once, maybe a few weeks ago. MOO.

You are right , she said her son in law ,a few times. And as far as I can figure out her son they put in hancuffs was most likely close to adulthood or even there already, mom is 60-father is 63 . MOO

That's not really a common surname. I'm Hispanic by the way.

Thanks for your response. I mean, I did put the name in search engine for images and most of the results are very different men. My being overseas tho' I will take your word for it...

Apparently Google worked with LE to extract the videos from NG's laptop or smartphone.

I contacted Tucson Crime Stoppers-like phone number on the 3rd to inform them the camera images should not be that difficult to extract.

For example, I've had a $39.00 Ezviz camera I bought on Amazon 10 years ago.

All I need to do is power up my Windows 10 or 11 laptop (I have both) and go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ezviz Studio\MessageImage

There I will find recent 'protected' .JPG images (100s of them).

Then use the Ezviz app on my laptop to access the files - because the .JPG files cannot be opened by just any app. They're protected.

Not sure why it took a week.

But congrats for finally getting the job done.
What language is this you speak?

I am pretty skeptical this is the guy. I mean, he sounds like he works a regular job delivering packages during the week....albeit in Tuscon, and is home every Fri night thru Monday morning. Also lives with what seems to be a large family including his kids. How would be possibly kidnap someone and hope to keep that hidden from his family while also working a job Mon-Fri?

Seems odd. The only thing that could give him a connection to NG is if delivered packages to her during the week. Otherwise I am thinking, if he is connected, it is him trying to scam the family with the ransom demands.

I'm fully aware they won't release names or hospital information. But I have seen countless posts and news stories which state "one patient was transported by lifesaver helicopter" to a local hospital. Most often these stories are from mva. This isn't my first case or only experience with following closely about news stories. Thank you though.
My opinions based on personal experiences

This is what they said on Google about food delivery drivers.
Food delivery drivers on apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats generally do not see a customer's full last name, typically only receiving the first name and last initial (e.g., "John D.") to protect privacy.

I don't think a delivery person would make the connection. MOO

No, the detainee, her son in law's name is similar to his father's. This woman is talking about HER son who was home when LE searched it. People are confusing her son-in-law and her son.

Well, I'm clear now I was confused by "detained at a traffic stop" and the "handcuffed fellow in the house".
Separate individuals.
SIL and Son.....
Sorry.

Everyone.
Please be careful. Until LE reveals more info, please do not doxx this person. Use initials when speaking about them. I literally have not had time to look into this ( and I won't be able to until the morning), so I need you all to please be careful. I guess there is a son or a dad with the same name? Just wait until more info is released. Yes, you can play the MIL's interview. Please hold off on posting more information about him until we have more information from the police.
Earlier from SillyBilly
It's MSM and it's fine to post. Members just have to discuss what the MIL is saying. It's fine to question or comment on what is contained in the interview, but no direct accusations until there is some more information so we know what we are dealing with.

Do you honestly think that SO would confirm if it was related to this case? The media frenzy would be unprecedented. So if anyone sees where there was an accident or anything in that area, please inbox me so it doesn't clutter this thread.
