I don't know. The likelihood of someone burying a body "nearby" seems to be a bit of a stretch. How does someone do that in the dead of night without being detected? I would venture to guess at night out there, one can hear a pin drop. It strikes me as a very quiet neighborhood. We all know the sound of a shovel as it pierces the ground when someone is digging a hole. Couple that with the sandy terrain which would likely produce a noticeable ringing sound. You know, the metal shovel against the sand, which is basically just a bunch of tiny stones. Besides, we've heard that the ground is just too dense. It would take someone a good long while to dig a hole big enough to bury a body.
