I wish we knew what exactly is leading them towards AG or SIL. So, so much time spent searching and photographing her house and her neighborhood. Maybe they’re just trying to cover all their bases, but it still seems like so much? Is this level of scrutiny and searching standard? Hours spent every day 😕

I hope they’re not involved, so I hope it is just standard…

I say this respectfully, because you are a new user, but the things you keep repeating as fact are not. I would recommend spending some time on what has been confirmed already. I know this is a very fast moving thread but this is now the 7-8 post of yours where the information you are sharing doesn’t make sense with what we already know to be true. It confuses others.

100% agree. Again today I log on to see the latest information/evidence on this situation, and I cannot believe all of the wild speculation and imaginative posts I have to sift through.
My opinion .

It does seem strange that many of their lights are on at such a late hour. The lights stand out.
I’m in a nearby neighborhood and we keep outdoor lights on to deter pack rats. A lot of people do that near garages or parked cars in areas like this.

Honestly, that should probably tell you that there was more to it than the person’s speculation about being tipped in because of his eyes…
Or that they are bad at this...now per BE they are back again at AG's house...repeat review again.

Given that up until yesterday, we didn't know there was a blood trail going beyond the initial spot on NG's porch that we had seen from the beginning, I would wonder what else has been known from the beginning that we don't know about yet.
When did we find out about more blood?

It's insane that Pima County Sheriff’s Department says they’ve received more than 4,000 calls to tip lines and they decide to target some random guy in Rio Rico that was called in because he had similar eyes?? WTF. Doesn't give much confidence in these Fed agents so far...

I wonder if more than one person that knew him called in a tip, which contributed to them deciding to investigate it further...? And then location evidence from phone data/possible vehicle tracking made them decide to request a search warrant. JMO.

EDIT: It was reported by his MIL (the person detained in Rio Rico yesterday) that he recently just got evicted too, which would have given monetary motive. So might have just been too many things lining up and had to be looked into.

Hopeful that the perpetrator left some DNA at the scene.

This isn't just a news site, though; but a discussion forum. JMO

They just took two bags out of AG home and searching/retrieving mail from mailbox...
So maybe just retreiving things the family requested as needing, but can't get for themselves because of media/youtubers all over the place??

They could honestly just be retrieving some needed items and the mail for the family since they are staying elsewhere. No telling.

That is interesting and it's something I've been considering. Most people are sure this is motivated by money/ransom, and maybe it is, and probably still the most likely motive, but I'll say it doesn't fit the typical ransom case.

No clear line of communication. No proof of life. Why haven't they provided this by now? Why haven't they given some type of definitive proof they are the actual kidnappers? I mean, we're almost two weeks into this and LE still doesn't know with 100% certainty the ransom notes are from the actual kidnappers.

The fact that this case doesn't exhibit the usual steps that ransom cases take has left the door open for me that there is some other motive here. And one of those possibilities I wondered about was did Savannah Guthrie have some obsessed stalker fan... he went to that house expecting to kidnap Savannah and not her mother? He was surprised about who was inside, and then kidnapped her as some sort of demented consolation prize? This doesn't seem super likely either, because I figure if someone was after Savannah and didn't find her there, they'd just flee. But nothing about this case fits the typical makings of what you usually see in these types of cases.
There have been loads of
That pizza stunt annoys me to no end. People, stay out of the way.

I wonder if they vetted who sent the pizza?

It reminds me of “pizza gate” with JE. Not saying there is any association, but just what came MY mind.

It is puzzling why they keep going back. You'd think they would have completed anything they needed to do there by now.

My thinking too, I'm trying to imagine why the perp would walk up with no backpack and no gun, see the camera ad then go put on the (stuffed full) backpack and weapon to return and disable the camera. IMO everything about this case is weird including this part.
With no time stamps it is impossible to determine. It could be that the pic with no backpack was taken a long time before anything even happened. It could have even been before NG arrived home for all we know. In fact, all the footage could be from before she came home, although removing the camera would be risky unless the perp knew for sure that she'd enter the house through the garage. Otherwise, she likely would have noticed the missing camera and not gone in the house. The perp obviously removed NG via the front door, thus the blood, and that's why they removed the camera beforehand.

Someone posted earlier that they thought there was someone else inside while this guy was on the front porch. Interesting idea. Might explain his sauntering if he’s just there to see what can be seen through the camera (eg on NGs phone). Maybe some one said “go pick flowers” to see what he could hear through the door..idk that part is weird… but if he removes the camera at the end of the clip maybe they are making sure you can’t see anything before they take her out the door..and they confirm they have destroyed the camera and erase the images from her phone. Grasping at straws…. Remember the back door was supposedly opened-and there was supposedly force entry-maybe they entered in back but had to take her out the front door and needed to make sure the doorbell camera was destroyed.
I definitely believe there are two people involved. I cannot fathom how one person could take NG out on their own.

Yes, that tracks as well.
Imo.

Frankly, I'm not sure LE knows the blood trail goes beyond the initial spot on the porch. IMO
I was looking for a video to include in my reply but everything I'm seeing is from days ago and I thought I had only seen a video posted here yesterday that showed the blood trail. This video show it starting at 3:05 but says it's from 2/4 so I was wrong about only finding that info out yesterday. I will edit my comment. Blood trail found outside home of Savannah Guthrie’s mom

IMO- Since I first learned about this case, I have wondered if the person who took NG has an obsession with SG. Not all obsessions are “positive” (meaning infatuation) towards the victim. The person could have an obsessive “hatred” towards SG. Especially given she is so prominent in the public eye. Kidnapping a person’s elderly mother certainly would be a way to inflict pain towards them, especially when the potential target (SG) is untouchable. There’s something about the second plea video, where SG talks to the kidnapper (with siblings sitting with her, but not speaking), makes me wonder if the kidnapping was committed as a way to “punish” SG. And by hatred/ punish- I am saying it could be due to some sort of imagined and perceived slight. I think it’s quite possible this is the work of someone with a major break from reality. But again, no facts to back this up, just IMO. It’s a very sad case, and I hope i am incorrect, I would definitely assume they FBI has already looked at any past correspondence received by SG. I can’t imagine how anyone in the family must feel. So much speculation from the public, me included. It’s tragic.
