It was never there because she had been harmed elsewhere prior to that? The perpetrator may only have been there to try to fake a crime scene to point LE away from where she really had been harmed.
Well, I guess that’s as good a guess as any. It’s certainly possible. IMO

But if that’s the case, what happens with the body?
Remember the blood droplets went from the front door, all along the walkway, stopped right at the circular driveway. I think that means that someone drove the car right there( where blood ends), perps placed NG in car, drove away.

No, his MIL was telling the reporter that the FBI or someone had told her that her son-in-law's eyes looked like the guy they were after. MIL is not the one who ever said that, she said the photo of the suspect did not look like her SIL at all. She wanted to show a photo of her SIL to the reporter (because he was being interviewed by investigators at the moment and not doing camera interviews yet), but couldn't because the FBI had taken her phone. She also said the FBI had gotten a tip that Nancy was in her house. She was clearly upset and was like they can look anywhere, we don't have anything to hide.
Bbm.
So it sounds from the link below that she might have been in error and that the FBI had him on surveillance before the video footage was released ?
And afaik he is not cleared officially.
But since they're not holding him that might mean they don't have anything on him yet ?
Omo.

Thanks for this link ! ^^^

Might be a nothing burger, but at least clears up what the mother in law of this person thought she was told.
Wonder if he's still on their radar at all ?
Omo.

I am speculating here but wonder if she could have been carried off in a delivery van and is probably still being held in it? The delivery van could be conveniently out for repair or something and parked in some repair lot. I wonder if they let C go because they wanted to see if he would lead them to NG. He hasn’t been cleared, has he?
If the van is broken down, I am sure they’ve likely already searched it in my opinion

I want to know if she was wearing her nightgown when taken. Were the clothes she had on at dinner in the hamper, or hung back up?
I probably missed this detail, but were her glasses gone or left at home?

They didnt have to move her because she wasn't at the residence as she had been harmed elsewhere?
So why would the perpetrator even bother trying to sneak into her home if they knew Nancy wasn't there? And how did her blood get on the front steps?

I don’t think it’s reasonable to compare your perimenopausal experience to NG’s experience as an 84 y/o. I am a decade past meno and my sleep is very different from when I was peri. Regardless, our experience doesn’t matter. NG’s does. And we don’t know what is normal for her so all these personalizations and generalizations probably don’t matter.
I think it is justifiable for older women reading some of the comments here to clarify in general terms the behavior and thought process of older women. Because the victim in this case is an older woman and it helps to understand what she is most likely to do or not do as pertains to the details of this case.

Yes one size does not fit all, but the misconceptions do not help solve a case. I understand younger people don't understand older female psychology. Just like I don't understand why younger people do what they do sometimes.

Just like those of us who don't live in the western part of the US where this case took place, do not understand the weather, the terrain, the housing etc. And need enlightenment along those lines.

Searching her yard again 10 days after she went missing. They've had good weather and no excuse why her house and yard aren't cleared by now. Complete incompetence on display IMO. 🤦‍♂️
Has anyone considered that the images they released from the door camera are NOT THE ONLY IMAGES they have from the camera? It is likely the battery operated on the camera long after it was removed from the mount. I'm guessing that LE has pictures from that camera showing it in scrub somewhere and THAT is why they were looking in Folks yards yesterday and in NG's yard today. They would know the camera was discarded, in scrub, and how soon after it was removed from the mount, so that narrows the distance it could be significantly. Just a thought, fwiw, IMHO.

A work delivery van? When they held him for questioning he was in a different vehicle and I don’t think there was any mention of searching for a van.

This seems weirdly performative. Are we just now looking closely around the yard?
And doing it now in this yard that hasn’t been secured this whole time?

I’m seeing glasses, anyone else think maybe this person is wearing glasses under that mask?

Photo of Nancy Guthrie Suspect

SOURCE: MEGA
The man seen in Nancy Guthrie's doorbell camera was wearing insulated dark gloves.

The day before, the FBI released the first video of the possible suspect, an armed man seen wearing a ski mask and heavy gloves who was attempting to disable Savannah Guthrie's 84-year-old mom's Nest doorbell camera shortly before she was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home.

The thickness of the gloves made it too difficult for him to tamper with the camera, so he turned around and gathered scrub from Nancy's front yard to use to cover the device. He eventually pulled the camera out, which stopped it from recording anything further.

The nightmare video showed a gun holstered in the man's pants as he disabled the camera at 1:48 a.m. on February 1. Less than 20 minutes later, cameras inside Nancy's home detected someone inside.

By 2:28 a.m., her pacemaker stopped syncing with her Apple Watch, which was still inside the house, indicating she had been taken out of range of the device.

The glove was located about 1.5 miles from Nancy's home in the Catalina Foothills section of Tucson, on a dirt path alongside a road

The back door where the lights were smashed?
LE hasn't said anything.

It appears that she had two entries in the back. One that leads into the garage or a utility room.

And very likely a larger door under her patio.

According to TMZ the blue door is where the light was smashed.

There is no way that the blue door is her only back door.
She has a pool, she lives in AZ and her house is 3,000 sq ft. She has a patio etc.

That looks like it was tossed no more than a few hours ago! I'm sorry....A glove that has been out for 10 days won't look like that!

Heck it's still in the shape of the hand it was on!

Maybe the desert preserves things like that, but they also have dirt and pollen in the desert. They also have gravity. As in: A glove will lose the shape of the hand it was in fairly quickly after it is removed.
BE said they were nitrile gloves and the box he held up as an example were Kinco; Idk if he said they knew that was the brand or he just knew they were nitrile and he picked a random brand as visual aid.

I am familiar with the use of these in the workplace and I agree they would likely not hold their shape for any length of time. They crumple easily, although I'm surprised the glove in the pic has an identifiable shape after being pulled off.

You don't seem to understand that it could be that the perpetrator needed to stage a crime scene at NG house to try to steer LE away from looking at where she had really been harmed.
