I must have missed a lot. What happened to the Ransom Deadline?

Just my opinion, but there's a reason LE is keeping a focus on AG and TC's home - they have reasons. Because if someone simply left your home and went back to their own home, LE wouldn't care about what was inside your home. The fact that LE has focused more attention there, than at NG's home, says something. We can speculate as to what may have happened, but it wouldn't be the first time a middle aged person wanted to start a different life; and if you can have the cash and another country to live in, that can happen. Just my opinion, but to me it explains alot, and why the masked person was bumbling around NG's house (they knew she wasn't there); trying to make it look like that is where stuff happened. In that case, you'd WANT to be seen on a front door camera; create a boogey-man...Just my opinion and speculation, so take it with a grain of salt, fwiw.

I’m sorry IMO I can’t see a tattoo
I don’t think we can see the skin around his wrists at all. Looking at his other arm, it looks like his gloves go a bit past his wrists. It looks bulky in the area.

Do we know if NG's home has had intruders or been burglarized in the past? She has a number of cameras but I have not heard if those were installed recently due to some event. Also, we don't know if those multiple entry points were well-secured.

One thing I have learned following cases is sometimes a home can appear to be secure but the security features are not adequate. Sliding glass doors are especially vulnerable and are sometimes inadvertently left unlocked, giving easy access to intruders.
We had two french doors on our patio. It cost us thousands of dollars to fix the security issues. Doors wouldn't lock due to house shifting. We installed jerryrigged internal latches that required going down to the threshold to lock. Even then a bad breeze would pull on the things. We eventually removed one of the doors and replaced it with a faux door. However, they had to redo the exterior siding and the jams in order to create the new set-up. French doors look nice, but they aren't much secure than sliding glass.

This is what I posted earlier today: Some men tattoo their wrist with a cross. When they extend their arm, the cross is placed as seen in copied pic. Looking at perp’s wrist, I’m wondering if I see a cross due to the spacing from top to mid-section? EDIT TO ADD: the picture on left is from a Forbes news article, I did reference that in my initial post.
So i just was going down the rabbit hole of it maybe being some kind of tattoo and noticed that tattoo artists actually use black nitrile gloves. eerily similar to the gloves in the photos. Possible tattoo guy on the side?

What does the content of this post have to do with Nancy Guthrie?
Everything after the first sentence is totally off topic.
I hope this Forum can recover after this.

So this guy concocts evidently a DNA-proof ensemble, walking up to NG's door looking like The Stig walking up to a GT3, while committing a crime that has thus far made investigators look pretty silly at times, and then is like 'I'll just throw this here glove out of this here car window right by this here crime scene in this here swath of this here desert"?

Nah.

Wow this thread moves fast...I take a quick break and I'm already 20 pages behind 🤣
If this was a random robbery then they didn't need to and wouldn't take NG imo. There are reports nothing was stolen from the house so that tells me NG was the target all along.
So with NG gone who gains something? Ilthere was pre planning involved in terms of disguise and the time of day this took place etc. I really still think this a crime by someone known to her even if they outsourced help with committing it.
Yes and why is the thread so long? I’ve never seen one go over 1000 pages.
Keeping up is not possible I have discovered
IMO

respectfully, this is a forum that talks about possibilties of crimes, the missing etc. I would think with all of your time here you would have noticed that. We're just discussing and not saying this is in fact what happened but offering other ideas. IMO
Bizarro. It's confounding.

<snipped>
Authorities are focusing on roads, washes and pulloffs between Nancy Guthrie's home and any major roadways leading out of Tucson. They've also canvassed nearby gas stations and pulled surveillance video from surrounding neighborhoods.

How do you know no DNA was recovered from the scene?

Looks like watch
Yes, someone said the same earlier. If you look at the top of black marking it slants to the right, and the band at the mid-section doesn’t encompass the entire wrist.

I still think it's possible that Nancy was taken away because something unexpected happened in the home.....she may have recognized his voice, she may have tried to protect herself by fighting back which resulted in having his DNA on her, or she could have scratched his exposed skin somehow....... or we can't discount a SA. Perp may also have panicked for whatever reason and wanted her to "disappear", we don't know his mindset.

If one is in severe danger, even an 84 year old lady's adrenaline could result in extra strength, if she fought. I in fact I know of a local case here where a 91 year old lady managed to extricate herself from a fence that collapsed on her. She was considered frail and her family was flabbergasted she somehow was able to do this.

Not entirely convinced that a perp in a home invasion or robbery would ALWAYS leave a killed victim behind.
Sure it's rare but we don't know what happened inside that awful night.
Right, worry about DNA being discovered might make a suspect take the body with them, although it's extremely problematic.

Since this guy has a tattoo that is partly visible on his wrist-- does anyone know if Arizona prisons take pictures of inmates tattoos? It's not unlikely this guy has served time before.
I just went through all the pictures that were released and in every one his sleeves come down over the top of the gloves covering all of his skin, so I do not see a tattoo. Can you post a photo of the alleged tattoo? Thanks.

Holster was made for a revolver. Gun was not a revolver.
What does it say about this guy that the gun does not fit the holster? He has no knowledge of guns? He was in a hurry and grabbed the wrong gun or holster? Someone gave it to him for this crime so he had to use it? He is not very bright, etc?

My opinion is they are focusing on them b/c they were the last to see her alive + close relatives and so they keep returning to the usual answer. But now there is so much more that makes it appear less likely. Why would they need to do all of this to kill her for money? She is 84 time is on their side here in terms of getting an inheritance. ETA: Originally the main scenario I had though of was if the SIL did it was something along the lines of there was some non publicized acrimony or issue that NG confronted him about on the ride home and he accidentally killed her b/c she said she was going to disclose the issue to her daughter (his wife) - but I really think the masked man pretty much removes that theory.

We don't know but to this point an elderly neighbor interviewed said it was such a safe neighborhood and they don't always lock doors. Also it was mentioned that her security cams were mainly for "viewing wildlife". I have still not heard anything definitive about an alarm or the exact point of breach (as it was reported that there was signs of forced entry) and am very curious about the details of that.

An ex FBI agent reporting from the scene was shocked how dark it is in that neighborhood at night (due to Tucson's low light ordinance) and that the house was set back and neighbor's could not see it, saying it was very vulnerable.

We do know she had workers coming and going on the property (some have been DNA swabbed per FBI, I believe they mentioned the pool guy and landscapers) and a neighbor said she recently had the roofs re-surfaced (you can see how clean and white they are in the drone videos).

If it was, then at this point in the game he would probably not be an American criminal. And if that was the case he could've painted the walls with his DNA if he wanted to.
