If the lantana was intentionally picked, shown to the camera to mock and/or for LE to see for later verification in a demand letter that identifies him as an authentic perpetrator, and/or as a symbol of meaning in one of the various religions, superstitions, and/or cultures around the world, that give meaning to placing flowers in a doorway/path, then I contend that it might matter and may even be useful in identifying a suspect and/or motive.

In my view, he had little to no need to use it to cover the camera as a concealment mechanism since he could (and did) just take it/break it off its base.

JMO.
It was clear to me he was trying to look for something and then picked a bunch and tried to fold it up and put it/stick it to the camera to block it...that is what I saw and perceived to see by his actions.

I’m not asking them to release evidence for optics. I’m pointing out that if her physical arrival home hasn’t been confirmed publicly, that’s a critical piece of information.
Once you start addressing any rumors, you have to address all of them. It's a bad precedent to set, especially in this convoluted case. AG and SIL are victims but everybody has their right to an opinion. MOO

Yes it has!

That's what I think too. Until there’s verification she physically entered her house, I think it’s fair to question the timeline. There’s been no footage shown of her arrival or departure from Annie’s. If that confirmation exists, why not release something to put these questions to rest?
Agreed.
Add that to the long list of what we still do not know with 100 % certainty ?

We are here to sleuth and to help, and that in no way is to satiate our curiosity.... but to speculate and formulate theories on what we think may have happened and if possible to find out if there's something LE have not thought of yet.

I wouldn't be surprised if LE were reading here ;) ; even though they may know by now if Nancy returned home or not, and are keeping that close to the vest.

It's more than a week out and it feels like we're stuck at square one.

We have zero proof Nancy was seen after being dropped off by her Uber driver, so that person may have been the last person to see her alive, and that's troubling, imo.

The camera footage shared yesterday should have shown Nancy returning home in some form, whether walking up to her door or a car driving by to drop her off, but it does not ?
Jmvho.

Unfortunately to hide the evidence from SA. We had a case in Paso Robles, CA and another case in Vermont. Both older female victims living alone and taken. It's not common but does happen.
Could be but typically the perp would do things like
1- put her in a bathtub
2- pour bleach over
3- set a fire
To hide DNA. But not impossible that theyd just take her.

I get that we don’t get verification of everything. I’m not saying LE owes us proof. I’m just saying when details have changed and things feel messy, it’s not crazy to still question things. Device syncing isn’t the same thing as physically seeing someone enter a house.
I think with all the info together paints a picture that is MORE likely then not that she entered the home that night. Is something else possible? Sure but more likely then not based on the pieces of info out there she arrived in the home. imo

Yes and I feel in that group they should at a certain point, sooner rather than later, have some sort of public clearing declaration made b/c this is not right imo...this could severely be damaging for them aside from losing a loved one as they did. It is just wrong imo.

She did not enter her home through her front door as reported, and the way the driveway is configured (and the way the front door camera is configured), the camera may very well not grab the car pulling in toward the garage. Also, if LE has video of her arriving home, they would not release it along with the vid of Lantana Man. It's not necessary to share that with the public.

The public’s understanding of what’s happening behind the scenes is not their operational priority. They’re holding their cards very close. Every now and then they seem to throw the public a bone but I just don’t believe they’re going to ever reveal specific information to the public unless they have a slam dunk case. Even then it will most likely be bits and pieces and enough to satisfy public curiosity. Some of these details they're hiding I imagine only the perp or someone involved would know. Some of it it also sensitive information that the public doesnt need to know.

I may have missed that then. From what I’ve seen publicly, I haven’t come across confirmation of her physical arrival, just device data. If there’s a source, I’d appreciate it.

It certainly has been interpreted that way by most, so I don't have any issues with that potential motive. I sway back and forth. But we can't dismiss those kinds of actions as irrelevant or trivial and stop talking about them if we aren't absolutely certain that's why he did it, and when those specific actions can and do have other meanings and intentions.

Virtually nothing is 100% but there is usually more or less likely that logical deductions can be made, even if LE hadn't already confirmed this which they did.

I don’t think Nancy ever made it home, I think they removed her pacemaker and disposed of it. Got rid of her, dropped some spots of blood on her porch then staged the fake kidnapping.
QUOTE: "I think they removed her pacemaker and disposed of it" <<< considering that would be a 1 to 6 hour surgery depending on the individual patient's circumstance, I doubt that was the case...just saying 🤷‍♀️ 😇

IMO there is also hyperfocusing on things that are just extremely extremely unlikely which do more harm then good..jmo

Is there a point where we can get over the lantana? Please. Does it matter? Really? In the grand scheme of things. Let the Lantana Go 🌱 MOO
...I don't know, I am kind of liking the nickname of the perp..."Lantana Man"

Yeah, and besides that we're not even sure THEY know their operational priority given some of the information released recently.

Seriously it is honestly just deranged...I mean is it possible sure anything is possibly but it is highly highly illogical and impractical imo
