This isn't exactly directed at your comment, just jumping on it. If anyone looks at the 2nd video of the guy with two backpacks, they have his face blurred but his skin looks light, like Caucasian, and bald (I don't think he's wearing the face mask in the video). And, another thing: why have they blurred his face if they want tips on who he is????

You can find the original, without the blurred face, on X. I think it was first posted by nerdy_addict, where it attracted a lot of attention, some time before TMZ got hold of it.

Edit: apparently (see later posts here), this man was cleared of involvement.

a websleuther determined the height about 200 pages ago so...way to go LE (eye roll).

possibly a stupid question but why hasn't the family thrown money into the 'ransom/bitcoin' ask? we know SG at least has the money. and she herself two/three videos ago said "we will pay"...so why not throw some spaghetti money on the wall and see what sticks?

another websleuther said we would all do ANYTHING to get our loved one saved/home/discovered. so why hasn't the guthrie family thrown so much as a dollar at bitcoin/offshore account?/anything these alleged kidnappers have asked for?

Yeah, there could be an innocent explaination for his behavior. Been there done that.

Now this trash compactor thing is going to be stuck in my brain. If that's what it was, and if it appears that he dropped a backpack into the compactor and activated it, that would be... interesting. A lot of unconfirmed "ifs" there, though, and not a good enough view to see if any of those things actually happened from this footage. MOO

He walked away with the backpack but perhaps he emptied some stuff into a trash compactor. He has apparently been cleared now. Oh, well.
