That sketch is worthless imo, It’s the equivalent of using AI
They claim she is a retired police composite sketch artist who holds the Guinness world record for accuracy/arrests. Time will tell.

EDIT: If you need media link, go to first post, first page of this thread or:

I totally relate to not keeping up with the pace of this main thread. It would be more efficient to go to this media thread to get caught up rather than ask people to repost. OMO.
Thanks for the heads up but I couldn't find the article, I'm aware of the other thread. That's why I asked for help

I hope they finally picked up Nancy's doormat

Imagine the potential DNA, the evidence they could get

And how many feet now have trampled on it!

Forgive me if this has already been deduced, but this thread is moving at warp speed and so can’t read every post. In the photo of the doorstep the lantana is lying on top of the blood. So this guy was there after her removal?

I’ve just seen this interesting tidbit on Facebook, a close up of the gloved hand seems to show a chunky ring, this is compared with stills from a local chap who has been interviewed by the media (inserting himself into the investigation? 🤔) who has a ring like this! Has anyone else seen these images? Apologies I’m not sure if I’m allowed to link to it with it being from Fb and not a legitimate news source.

Edited to add the chap is called Jason apparently

Does anyone know who dropped her off, and why so late? I wonder if it was a special celebration. Usually elderly people don’t stay up that late.
Without heart meds… I fear the worst… kidnapper has meds? I doubt it… she is now in the after life .. I am afraid… it should be a search for recovery now…. Not rescue…

I don't believe that the ransom sender and this guy are the same person. You're talking about someone operating on an advanced level on the one hand, and some guy seemingly out of his depth on the other.
Probably right.

On the other hand, I can imagine someone who's intellectually capable and can write well (the ransom notes have been described as well written) being confident enough to think he could carry out something like this, and then doing so without experience, feeling that he could deal with any obstacles that come up. That could be what we're seeing in the video. (I don't think I'll be sure of the true purpose of the lantana ritual until we hear from LE or the perp.)

Per article this am on foxnews.com
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos is rejecting allegations that he is withholding evidence from the FBI in the Nancy Guthrie Case.

Nanos told KVOA that the allegations are “not even close to the truth.”

A federal law enforcement source previously told Fox News Digital that Nanos was restricting the FBI from obtaining key evidence in the 84-year-old's disappearance. The evidence requested by the FBI includes a glove and DNA found inside Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson, Arizona, home, according to information first reported by Reuters.

Federal officials have asked Nanos for the items so they could be processed at the FBI's national crime laboratory in Quantico, Virginia. However, Nanos has insisted on sending the evidence for testing at a private lab in Florida, according to the source.

Nanos told KVOA that the private lab in Florida has been working with the sheriff’s department for years and is analyzing DNA profiles from the crime scene. He added that there were discussions with the FBI on Thursday morning about possibly sending gloves to the FBI’s lab, the station said.

"Actually the FBI just wanted to send the one or two they found by the crime scene, closest to it – mile, mile and a half . . . I said 'No, why do that? Let’s just send them all to where all the DNA exist, all the profiles and the markers exist.' They agreed, makes sense,” Nanos told KVOA.
Makes sense.

There are plenty of first-class investigators available. Maybe SG is so frazzled she has yet to realize the amateurish investigation, but she needs to hire a PI. SG also has the $56,000 USD for the latest Bitcoin demand. She could demand the information go directly to her. Money is a drop in a bucket for her. If she loses her money, at least she will know the informant is a scammer.

The $100,00 reward is going nowhere. If the informant is illegal, it would be deportation, no reward. If legal, LE is just waiting to slap charges, i.e. accomplice, etc., not pay reward.

Where is the stalled investigation going? Changes are needed.

The number of elderly people who forget their medication is staggering. You think they should be out of refills but they’ll tell you they have two months worth left. And it’s not always just silly things that they forget to take like their allergy medicine. A lot of times it’s their heart medication or their anticoagulants.

I don’t care how good she is, there arent enough details in those mask images to make an accurate representation. It’s essentially guessing.

"I guessed at the parts of face covered with ski mask on this Nancy Guthrie kidnapping suspect," she said in her Facebook post. "I used the surveillance photos shown. I spent 43 years at job trying to help detectives with similar photos."

I don't think so, because the blood isn't present in the doorbell camera video .
The Lantana looks very dry and it may have been blown around by the wind, and trodden on by family members / police / reporters, at any time after the blood landed.

The puzzling thing to me is why the blood doesn't appear to have been trodden on or smeared, either by nancy or the assailant.

LE's official timeline states the doorbell camera was disconnected at 1:47 a.m.
At 2:12 a.m. LE says a camera picked up movement but they didn't say which camera.

TMZ reported recently that the suspect captured at Nancy's door was captured at 2:12 a.m.

There is no blood drops of Nancy's by Nancy's door yet and since the man picks up the lantana in the video we can safely assume that Nancy hadn't exited that door yet (dead or alive).

Does anyone have any info on why Nancy’s name would have been searched so many times before the incident - from places outside of her state? I am not seeing a lot of info about this and … idk it seems kind of important? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Aside from the series SG did on her life in Tucson and NG being featured in it a few months ago, it stands to reason that NG would also have been a suggested search on google related to SG. Curious people clicking around to look up more info, etc - it could be totally unrelated to the case and benign.

I'm catching up on this.. is there any suggestion of the suspect's motive? It has to be more involved than just money.

Hostage taking. Choice of victim being a national TV personality's elderly mother
-- Seems to signal a desire for attention/wanting fame (infamy). Maybe frequently watches morning television shows. Not great at long-term planning/ short term or immediate plans figure more strongly

Attacking an elderly woman with significant health issues, at night while she's most likely asleep and at her most vulnerable
-- Not confident in his physical strength or abilities

Flashlight in mouth, black nitrile gloves,
-- Someone who isn't afraid of germs but works with his hands and often gets them dirty.

Timing of attack, newish clean clothes and shoes (no stains or holes), ransom demands, and ability to transmit online messages
-- Probably currently unemployed, but being kept afloat by mooching off someone else's money. Caretaker?

Wearing sneakers, strange crouching gate, and overall physique
-- This person likely has chronic pain issues. Might be out of work due to disability. Back problems.
IMO, "DCG" (Door Cam Guy) is just the henchman sent to do the dirty work. "BCG" (Bit Coin Guy) is sitting at home listening to Harvey Levin talk about him and thinking that makes him a celebrity.

Amateur opinion and speculation

I’m curious if this sketch was drawn before or after the video of the break-in down the road was released

ETA: I apologize, there is a video that I saw on X of someone on another porch that looks similar to the sketch. It was NOT released by FBI/official sources so I don’t mean to cause confusion if this is not allowed
This was drawn before I saw the other porch video.

If law enforcment is contacted about the ponytail guy on the porch, hopefully they will be able to find him.

(I personally think he's a homeless guy and he will be easy to find)

I am astounded that LE has not put up temporary fencing around NG property to stop people gaining access to the crime scene, fast forward to any trials that result from this crime and the defense has video after video of people wandering through the scene,

Break-in down the road? I missed this!! Have to go find it. I am curious about this sketch too, it could really throw people off. I don't see the lips being this thick at all, and how can you see anything about the facial hair beyond the small bit through mask. I hope they have more info than just the video released, or IMOO this is a mistake like the second sketch in Delphi.
By "down the road", they mean 6.6 miles. And he didn't break in. He was on their porch but I don't see that he attempted to enter their home.

Seriously- she is working from a description of an average man of average build with eyes and a flashlight in his mouth.
