The car is owned by a small locally owned dealership and is for sale on their website. Generally the listing would be removed if these perps had purchased it. Therefore, likely the dealership owner is in possession of the range rover because it hasn't sold.
Is this verified as being the car?

Dealerships also rent vehicles and short-term lease them.

I just went to the dealership Instagram page. There's pictures of a Range Rover and when you click on who liked them and look at a certain profile um, yikes. I could be totally wrong, but you'll know it when you see it.

From Fox News:
PIC: FBI detains man near major law enforcement operation in Nancy Guthrie case

A man is detained following a traffic stop in Tucson, Arizona, Friday, Feb. 13, 2026. Sources tell Fox News Digital that the stop is connected to a search warrant served at a home near Nancy Guthrie’s house.
This man looks to have a small build to me, that is: not 5’10. This photo appears to be in the Culver’s parking lot.

Fox News also showed LE moving to the Culver’s parking lot after Fox reported someone was detained, and the Range Rover was not there. Which is to say, it seems the Range Rover was moved to the parking spot, after the driver was detained, in order to photograph the vehicle. This makes sense since it has been reported as a traffic stop, but definitively confirms the Range Rover hadn’t just been parked in this lot for a while.

A friend brought Helter Skelter to 9th grade Algebra and for weeks we pored over that book instead of our quadratic equations. The book itself had a distinctive smell and is most likely the scariest book I've ever read. I agree with you about small security measures making a big difference. In my opinion, this would not have helped Nancy unfortunately. I think all signs point to her being targeted and I don't think locking her bedroom door would have made a difference..
I read HS at 15 and couldn’t sleep for months. I do think that this is an excellent time to review home safety. Praying fir Nancy’s return 🙏🙏

I’m in agreement with you, this was targeted. He or they went there for one purpose and it wasn’t burglary.

Could it be it was either the mother or other son that called in the tip on the RR guy? “Hey my son bears a resemblance to the guy caught on camera and he’s been acting out of character.”

Still I don’t understand why the offender would stick around after watching the news and seeing the investigators having lots of info to work with.
The plan mastermind, unless previously mentioned persons, would be on the first plane out of Phoenix. Just leaning toward this being scammers. Scammers would be handcuffed, arrested. LE is probing for NG info, which scammers don't really have. Opportunists.

The white one they have pictured? Nothings sticking out to me but I could just be blind

Obvious NG isn't at this house. Why isn't LE looking for her elsewhere?

Would a guy kill himself over a extortion charge?

No the grayish silver one.
Hmm no clue, no profiles are sticking out to me. Could you tell me the date the picture was posted so I know I’m looking at the right post?

I'm 99.9% positive it's the same Range Rover. Same wheels with red brake calipers.

On the CarFax website you can see the price was last lowered on Feb. 3rd.. which is several days after Nancy went missing. So the dealership (MG Motors) still owned it.
