And he has access to many vehicles so evidence could be in any of them

So now I wonder if it was the range rover or the white van that LE was looking into regarding the vehicle of interest seen at the Circle K early last week. Maybe both.

Why was it so hard to track? Was it because it wasn't registered to anyone current i.e. from the motor company?

What is your opinion on why he was knocking?
Maybe knocking for his accomplice(s) who entered from the back door to let him in?
I think NG was knocked out with a substance while at dinner. This is why the
Waiting to hear. I have a bad feeling about what was found in the Range Rover.
Me too. Why hold the yellow tarp up before opening the hatch unless you think there is something very sensitive in there?

Nancy Grace was saying LE were asking about a grey van when doing neighbourhood searches some days ago, fwiw.

If this is the same Land Rover, it was not purchased recently and is still for sale. You can see the price history of it here on the CarFax website. The dealer, MG Motors lowered the price to $17,995 on February 3rd. Several days AFTER Nancy went missing.

Interesting. It has occurred to me that someone working at a dealership and having access to so many different vehicles to drive might explain why LE has never had a vehicle to look for.

I have given this a lot of thought. I am perplexed as to WHY the ransom hasnt been paid. SG said "we will pay". I am tired of the MSM excuses.." the ransom notes might not be real"--- "It will encourage others to do this"---- "Kidnapping for ransom is rare". FIRST OF ALL, kidnappings for ransom are often not done in the public eye. Money is exchanged. Person is returned. SECOND, cartel type kidnappings are frequent, especially south of the border ( not suggesting that is what this, BTW ) Kidnappings for ransom do happen. If it has "fallen out of fashion", it's back. Even for this one case. What is old often becomes new again.

I still maintain that the kidnapper is a celebrity stalker who hyperfocused on SG. Age disparity doesnt even enter into this. He can't have SG and decided to get her mother to garner SG's attention and to have the aura of possessing something close to SG.. They are dealing with a delusional, marginalized, socially awkward man who imagines SG is his secret lover. imo. Someone out there knows this person. Thus, the ransom note writer. Although perp and the ransom note writer could be one and the same. I believe the ransom should have been paid. There was a window of opportunity that, IMO, has passed. The "belief" that others would copycat this is not a good enough reason to have not paid the ransom and the FBI suggests but never tells them yes or no. It's up to the family and resources. Finally, while I sincerely wish all wonderful things for this entire family and pray for NG's safe return, the media frenzy over this has become over the top and is probably only FEEDING the ego of the perp. Pray for the families of the little girls who are kidnapped and barely get 2 minutes airtime on the local news. MOO

And he works for the car dealership in question according to his facebook profile.
Would be interesting to know where Nancy purchased her SUV :)

If it’s still showing on the dealers website perhaps he only purchased it in the past 24-48 hours. It could have been the dealers who called in the tip that lead to this. Someone dodgy paying in cash, looking shifty etc. MOO.

It was being driven by dealership employee, was it not...

Test drive even, maybe... not a good look - test drive with potential customer and get swatted by LE

Credit to @Mack the Knife for his excellent summary of a Fox10 Live Feed

  • at 20:30 the sheriff’s office told media to go to a staging area to a press briefing but by 23:00 they were told they’d only be getting a written statement, and sources said that they were waiting for FBI approval of a statement
  • Fox News reported two men and one of their mom’s were detained not arrested in connection to a search warrant, and reminded that while a search warrant is executed, it’s typical for residents to be detained for the duration
  • The Range Rover has a yellow piece of paper (looks like from a legal pad) covering the license plate, under an MG Motors plastic license plate frame. No front license plate.
  • Looks like the FBI is collecting the evidence (vs. sheriff)
  • The way they’re talking about the three people detained, it seems like they’re saying they were all at the home where the warrant was being executed. There is, obviously, a vehicle (the Range Rover), and I’m aware of a guy with white pant legs who was obviously being detained in some way, so maybe that’s a source of confusion on the numbers? Possibly one of them (I’d guess the mother) wasn’t a target and was only detained for warrant execution?
  • At 23:40 they show sheriff’s vehicles pulling out of their parking spots and pulling back in closer to the Range Rover
  • At 23:53 they share the Sheriffs statement, which they apparently learned from twitter.
  • At 23:53 LE put a yellow sheet up on the right rear of the Range Rover, covering as they opened the trunk. Fox 11 isn’t sure how they accessed the car, but a few minutes earlier the lights were flashing so I believe LE has the key fob
  • At 23:55 they put up a sheet on the left rear side. It was uncovered for 2 minutes while the trunk was open
  • At 23:57 they close the trunk and fold up the sheets
  • At 00:00 Fox 11 believes LE is wrapping up in the Culver’s parking lot
  • 00:09 the FBI tech is wiping then applying something to the seams of the car. I’m guessing he’s essentially “sealing” the doors
  • 00:34 a tow truck pulls into the lot
  • Camera zooms back in on the paper over the license plate. Looking at how wet that paper is now, I doubt it has been on there for very long. Driving with that in any sort of rain, it would disintegrate
  • FBI takes pictures of the side of the vehicle up on the truck bed
  • 00:53 tow truck drives away with the Range Rover and the LE vehicles all leave
  • And with that, I’m back to present time
----
thank you

Anyone else leaning towards the notion (whatever the duration) that with last nights investigation this is more visibly a two-track investigation?

1. A kidnapping/abduction where the key evidence seems related to NG's house.

2 The house searched last night where 3 residents lived who may have been involved with the ransom notes sent to TMZ.

I've been through that Instagram page several times and cannot see that range rover. I've tried Google lens with the image someone posted earlier as well but nothing. Guessing the photo has been taken down. Someone else asked what date it was posted and I haven't seen an answer
Try the post on the 6 Feb

Who’s in custody? I don’t have time to read through everything

My first post on this but I've closely followed. Having looked at one particular clear photo of ZJ's face on Insta ( with their hand sort of resting on top of their head) and compared it to this screenshot from the porch video, I am sure this is the same person who was caught on camera at NG's house that night. The whole area around eyes, brows, chin, nose and face shape matches to me.
JMO
The first time I saw the video, my first thought was the brows. JMO I had/have a feeling that distinctive feature would be important to identification. Reminds me of the Idaho 4 perp (not gonna say his name) and the bushy brows being a feature that was zoomed in on.

There are quite a few news reports now that one of the apprehended shot themselves in the head, as witnessed by neighbours.

The craziness of seeing people get arrested by FBI is a story in itself, I don’t see how neighbours could be mistaken (or lie) about witnessing something like that.

It would be quite traumatic!

This snippet is from an Irish publication.
Not to get O/T, but how does someone "detained" in this situation manage to successfully take their own life (and with a gun, no less)?? jmo

This guys eyes are so distinct. I don’t know how you could know this guy and not know it was him like as soon as I saw this guy is Instagram and videos. I’m like this is the same guy like his eyes is mannerism his built like I’m not saying it is 100% because I don’t know, but in my opinion looks just like him, especially the eyes the actor that give away not the eyebrows though those are very distinct when I saw the eyebrows in the video I’m like whoa is that his eyebrows or just a mask for a while I thought it was just a mask, but it was his eyebrows and when I saw the eyebrows, I’m like this guy is very sculpted eyebrows. This is someone who must be full of themselves a narcissist not because he had sculpted eyebrows just because he was committing a crime and I was thinking what kind of personality he has quilted eyebrows and commits heinous crimes.
