Hoping and praying NG is found alive but I don't have much confidence in this SO.

The SO made some serious errors at the beginning of this case. They failed to protect the crime scene. There were a lot of complaints about time lost.
Now people want to spend more time to vet each tip. As I stated above, you need probable cause to get a search warrant.

LE is evidently providing probable cause to the judges who are issuing these warrants. That would indicate to me that they are properly vetting those tips that have resulted in the police actions we have recently witnessed.

Well, hopefully these results will shed some light because the handling of this case has been a disappointment since the beginning and continues to remain just that.Instead of inept initial crime scene operations we now have extreme over reactions to possible suspects supposedly sorted from various tips and investigating. We remain in the dark as to what actually transpires during and after the actions of LE on these latest raids.After the first detainment ended so badly one would think LE would be sure before searching another home, but no, they went even deeper and more invasive to the occupants than they did with the first. With nothing to focus on they continued searching well into the night, for nothing. It should have become obvious pretty quickly that the people they detained weren't involved, yet LE continued on with their search to potentially include the medical examiner office. They should have just admitted they blew it again. SG needs to contact her government friend and get this investigation on track. Just call me disappointed. JMOO

I wonder if this hints at just because no one was arrested in last night's raid, that doesn't necessarily mean that LE / FBI won't return to make an arrest after the extra evidence that was gathered from the vehicle and residence has been tested.

That is the way I read it. They may need to process swabs, DNA and things like cell phone extractions which can take a really long time to go through when we have our life's history loaded on our phones.

They cannot ask the FBI to take the lead. The FBI only takes the lead in federal crimes such as terrorism, bank robbery, kidnapping across state lines., civil rights, counter intelligence.. FEDERAL CRIMES. Local law enforcement is the lead for most cases as that is how the pecking order it is designed. FBI assists in local crime when asked and it is appropriate.

Since there’s not proof NG’s kidnapping and ransom are two separate operations; the FBI could take over the case under the ‘Cryptocurrency Extortion’ scheme.

Specifically, "Extortion and Blackmail (18 U.S.C. § 873): This statute broadly criminalizes using threats or pressure to force someone to give up something of value, including cryptocurrency."

Also, there is a belief that (if not proof) more than one perp is involved, this statute may apply as well. "Conspiracy Statutes (18 U.S.C. § 371): If more than one person is involved in the scheme, federal conspiracy statutes may be used" and is also under the ‘Cryptocurrency Extortion’ scheme/umbrella for Federal Crimes.

I wonder if one of the leads LE was following was connected to the Range Rover being newly purchased (it had temporary plates in all the pictures). Maybe they were looking in the area between NG and AG's homes because they didn't get any hits on main roadway cameras so they figured the suspect traveled through the neighborhood. And then maybe they combined that with looking for recently purchased cars in the area, thinking that the suspect would have gotten rid of his car in order to destroy evidence. Perhaps if the suspect merely traded his old car in, LE impounded it yesterday from the dealership/buyer and found evidence. Or perhaps the suspect's car drove to Mexico and never came back... just a theory that I think could justify probable cause for a search warrant...

Feldman, 57, kept his sunglasses on as he was escorted through the unnamed airfield by security. He was dressed down in a zip-up sweater, jeans and sneakers, and maintained a grim expression.

It’s not clear why Feldman and the kids were in the Sunshine State or where they were arriving from. The sighting marks the first time Feldman was publicly spotted since his mother-in-law, Nancy Guthrie, vanished from her Tucson home in the early morning hours of Feb. 1.

He has largely flown under the radar amid the disturbing kidnapping case — only breaking his silence Tuesday in an emotional plea to the public in finding the armed and masked man who was captured lurking outside Nancy’s home.

Following his wife’s lead, Feldman posted the disturbing surveillance footage made public by the FBI to his Instagram. “Someone out there may recognize this person,” the communications consultant wrote in his caption. “Please help us. Bring her home,” he added.
