FYI, that's 3,175 feet barometric altitude, not absolute altitude.
Yes thanks, altitude is measured above sea level correct? According to google Catalina Foothills sit around 2,500 to 2,800 feet above sea level which means the helicopter was still 500+ feet above the ground. This is much higher than what they stated sniffer capabilities. IMO

Not sure if LE found unidentified DNA on property or is saying this taunt the perpetrator with the hopes they'll make a mistake and do something that will help LE build a case against him (e.g. cell phone call etc)

If LE did find unidentified DNA on NG's property and it didn't match anyone in CODIS, LE could plug it into a genealogical website such as Gedmatch and figure out who this person is by looking at their close DNA matches. JMO

I'm sure that they must be doing that. It can be time consuming to reconstruct the families from the genealogical matches, especially if the matches are distant cousin matches. It's fascinating, though! Let's hope that he has relatives who have tested.

I posted this yesterday but will do so again.

There is a set of sliding glass doors leading out to a small walled courtyard at the front corner of the house (opposite the garage). My bet is they lead into NG’s bedroom since there appears to also be a chimney to that room suggesting a fireplace there. See at 0:10 in this drone video:
Are those doors on the casita, which doesn't appear to be attached to the primary residence?

I posted this last night. LE should potentially be able tie the glove to the Guthrie residence through plant DNA. The glove in question , if used by the perp, should be loaded with lantana plant DNA .

Sticky lantana... maybe that is why he tossed the gloves... the lantana was sticking his hand to encrypting everything. Maybe that's what made the roadside glove and the LR RR so interesting.

I like finding out info like this but at the same time, I wonder if whoever did this is also finding out this same stuff
IMO we only find out information if LE wants us to know things. I think the knowledge made public is calculated to get the kidnapper's attention, raise their fear and increase the chances that the kidnapper may make a mistake that will help LE know who they are and get the evidence needed for an arrest and conviction. I am not a genius and this seems like a logical strategy so I'm sure they are aleady doing this-but being that much of the suspect's clothing is being reported as being from Walmart, I would thing that would be a fairly easy find? If I worked at Walmart and someone bought a jacket, holster, skii mask, etc. I would remember that and connect it to Nancy. I wonder if Walmart has put out a mass email to their store managers? And if ordered online, can't Walmart search their orders? They could have purchased items separately, but still, this seems like a good way to find the him/her/them.
This is probably not an approved source, but the New York Post has reported that “Walmart has provided investigators with records of all purchases made of a black Ozark Trail Hiker backpack, which was the suspect was wearing in Nancy’s Nest camera footage. It is sold exclusively at Walmart.”

In the same article, The New York Post has found additional gloves near Nancy’s house, they have handed them in to the detectives working on the case. Weird that the investigators missed these gloves…

This is live, so I’m not sure how to timestamp.

Brian Entin stating he feels hopeful, not a cold case. Also mentions he’s been told they’ve started the ancestral dna process.

This is pretty interesting if anyone else wants to watch.

Mods, sorry for the lack of timestamp! I’ll come back and edit once the live is over.

If they’ve started the ancestral dna process I take that to mean no CODIS matches?

Was thinking mother, too. Perhaps perp is getting increasingly nervous and scared, and somebody close to them may be starting to wonder if this perp could be their son, their son's friend, etc.
JMOO
I think the perp is mid 30's max..still living with his mother. Doesn't date. Has Formed delusional love connection with SG. May have a mother who is very enmeshed in his life. Someone who would never approve anyone he dated. Fantasy romance is the only way he can have a love connection! Think about it. People are now having romances with the bots on AI. He is fixated on SG. Takes the mom. Makes SG notice him. JMO

I've searched Google images for aerial views. Yes, I see the courtyard you are referring to, which is facing the street. What I posted was a closeup of the porch with the overhang in the back.

Just noting that I find it interesting the last couple of videos have been SG alone, when we'd seen the siblings all together for a couple of videos.

They've been SG only after that search at AG's last weekend

Jmo
That is very astute. Not even the brother has posted anything since then. I wonder if they are just too distraught, or if that suggests something else is happening.

The sheriff said that unidentified DNA was found on NG's "property," but he wouldn't say if it was found in the home or outside the home. In the following linked article, he is quoted as saying that the unknown DNA found on the property was not a CoDIS match.

Authorities in Arizona have found DNA belonging to someone other than Nancy Guthrie or those in close contact with her on her property.

Sheriff Chris Nanos of Pima County, Arizona, confirmed this to NewsNation during a Friday evening appearance on “Elizabeth Vargas Reports.”

*****
The sheriff said the DNA was collected from the crime scene the morning investigators processed Nancy Guthrie’s home but declined to specify whether it was found inside or outside the house. The DNA has not matched anyone in CODIS, the national database for people convicted of crimes.
That’s interesting and they would know how relevant and what type of dna was submitted. This dna is not the glove, correct? We are still waiting on those CoDIS results, correct?

The president said the abductors would face “very, very severe — the most severe” federal consequences if Nancy Guthrie is found dead after being abducted from her home outside Tucson on Feb. 1.

Asked if that meant the DOJ would request the death penalty, Trump answered: “The most, yeah — that’s true.”

I just hope all of this information doesn't increase the flight risk.

I personally don’t think it is a dealer plate. In Arizona, the temporary license plate you get when you purchase a new car is a white piece of paper, I’ve added a photo of an example (I edited it to obscure the plate number).

As you can see, the brand of car is abbreviated on the top right corner of the temp. plate. In the photo of the Range Rover I can see either “DR” or “OR” at the top right of the plate, under the paper which I think would be the end of the abbreviation for Land Rover.

I can only think of seeing deep blue metal dealer plates here in Arizona (photo added as well).

Edited to add links, sorry @tricia 😊!
Link for example of temp plate: Print
(My photo shows real world example but I don’t want to dox the real license plate number, I can change out the photo if needed)
Link for dealer plate: Motor Vehicle Dealer License Application Process and Account Set Up | Department of Transportation

Thank you for including the pictures as examples. It’s getting so frustrating that so many people aren’t including proof with pictures or links to back up their opinions.
MOO (My opinion only)

Edit: Typo

Excellent thought. Lantana can have a sticky residue and if his gloves were sticky, he may have thought that he was far enough away from NG's house to throw them out the car window. JMO

Regarding the recent TMZ note:

In an earlier letter he stated that one his reasons for being anonymous and requesting bitcoin was because he was scared of retaliation.

Seems like a memorable interaction that happened between the so called kidnapper and wanna-be informant. And running to TMZ to tell authorities- that you bumped into him 5 days ago and he told you to "shut up" would put you in harms way if it really happened.

I read somewhere that "If burglars come by day, they want your stuff. If they come at night, they want you."
I thought about the hot prowling that was discussed a great deal during the Idaho4 case, but I can't see how that would apply here.

The Ozark Trail backpack is a Walmart exclusive. And yes, Walmart is providing records going back months.

Walmart has provided records of all Ozark Trail Hiker online and in-store purchases over the past several months, including sales beyond the Tucson area, to investigators, Nanos told CBS News.

The clothes are believed to be sold at Waltmart, but not exclusive.

The mask is believed to now be from Walmart, as well, according to Nanos.

So… the ancestral DNA process. I hope they have the best and the brightest on that part. Eventually we are all going to be part of the database. Between AI and technology this is the future of crime solving-not just straight up CODIS, but IGG.

I was gobsmacked (love that word) to learn that the investigators detained three people and towed a RR about 2 miles from NG's home. I thought the perp(s) would have gone to Mexico straight away. MOO
