Talk about a high profile case. Dude held up pretty well all things considered.I really hope no one ever judges you as harshly if you went through the exact same scenario. I think we all owe him a little bit of grace.

My 1st impression when I saw the shoes was they looked like HeyDudes. A loafer type slip on shoe. I’m not necessarily sold on that though. Can you determine if these shoes look older and worn preciously? Or new looking?
Are these shoes worn more for sports, leisure, work, outdoors, etc?
100 percent. I can’t watch it. I’ve seen the original video 4 times. That’s enough. I can study images and videos from the chest down. His covered face and eyes are legitimately terrifying to me. Makes me sick to myThis gives me the creeps every time I watch it. Here’s what perplexes me— he knows there is a cam, which is why his head is down as he very slowly walks forward. Then he goes to use his gloved hand to block the camera while trying to remove it. That doesn’t work well, so he thinks a plant stems will help? I’m sure he didn’t want to get his face too close the camera while trying to exert the strength to break it. One would think there would be a lot of better ways to do this.
Just thinking about it, I wonder why he needed to go to the front door anyways. If he entered through the back door to get inside then he didn’t have to break this camera from the front. Before taking her out the front door, he could’ve placed something over that cam to break it without ever being seen.
Still chilling ~ a week after its release. There's something very nonchalant and unconcerned in his behavior.
Othram is private lab that has helped solve so many cases and may have more sophisticated technology.
With a loved one on hospice, he must have long ago mourned the loss of his brother. It's called anticipatory grief. I, too, would have gone to that basketball game to get back to some semblance of normalcy! There is something really comforting to be able to get back to living when your loved one finally passes away. There will always be those conflicting feelings of sadness and relief, thought.Sheriff Nanos if you are reading this I am so sorry for poking fun at you early on. I had no idea what you were dealing with privately on top of all you were having to deal with publicly. I believe you want justice for Nancy and I hope you are close to getting it.
It's weird how, after attempting to bang the camera (it looks like), he turns around and appears to scan the bed on one side inside the entry area (which was all stones) before stepping down outside the entry area to grab the Lantana planted on one side (outside that little portico area). I wonder if he was communicating with someone who told him to go further out. Wish we knew whether they have audio.
I can definitely relate to that situation. I was assigned lead of a high profile project right after my parents passed.Sheriff Nanos if you are reading this I am so sorry for poking fun at you early on. I saw another news snippet of this. I wonder if the canvass was due to the likely holster pictured in the DoorCam or if there was so far unmentioned evidence of a gun attack at the crime scene.Canvass of gun stores done 'several days ago'

A federal law enforcement official said today that agents conducted a canvass of gun stores "several days ago" as part of the Nancy Guthrie investigation.
The official said that no canvass was done today. If a specific lead requires additional canvassing, it could be possible, the official noted.
"Things are still very fluid and we are out on many leads," the official said.
The federal official noted that this is part of the regular investigative process. The official further cautioned that too much public exposure or reporting on specific steps being taken by law enforcement "whether accurate or inaccurate, gives the perpetrator a window into the investigation. That's not helpful."
A rock bed there on either side of the tiles, it looks like. You can see a bed from the entry?
It's disheartening to watch the video, knowing that while Porch Guy's fiddling with Lantana, a helpless woman is inside, unaware her life is about to change forever.100 percent. I can’t watch it. Stomach. I just scroll past quickly. I agree with you, and I have no idea why this person did what they did. Prayers for Nancy and family
Call me crazy, but I think checking into gun stores isn’t very helpful. Most people who have guns, already have them. I doubt most criminals buy a gun right before committing a crime. Usually you have a gun you’re comfortable using and it’s not a last minute purchase. Totally my own opinion.Canvass of gun stores done 'several days ago'

Planting bed, landscaping 'bed'.You can see a bed from the entry?
I don’t know about her credit/debit cards, but this older article says: (bbm)I wonder if Nancy’s wallet was found in the house with all her credit and debit cards accounted for.
I think he's calm because he's got an accomplice inside handling NG. I mean the guy inside has the hard job and guy outside just has to disable the camera(s).Still chilling ~ a week after its release. There's something very nonchalant and unconcerned in his behavior.
I’m curious what you mean by that? My head is swimming at the moment I may be missing something.Othram coming up in 10 minutes
Maybe he was looking for something there to block the camera or thinking that he could pry up one of those stones to smash it.It's weird how, after attempting to bang the camera (it looks like), he turns around and appears to scan the bed on one side inside the entry area (which was all stones) before stepping down outside the entry area to grab the Lantana planted on one side (outside that little portico area). America has a long history of not paying ransom. They don't do it in most situations.i would pay the 50K to the "ransom" writer. they are spending likely millions on this case already, if it's a dead end that's fine. they will eventually identify the writer and prosecute him. it's worth it.
