Ok, There is no apparent sign of forced entry on the front door. No glass or apparent broken door in the back. So how did they get in?? Is it possible that whoever did this had a key? Not necessarily that they SHOULD have had one. Maybe they "borrowed" one and made a copy. Either that, or it was someone she trusted and she let them in. I can't imagine her letting them in, unless she knew and trusted them. Does anyone have other ideas?

Here is my glaring question. Ca you see anything at all after he puts flowers on the door? Who removed them? If there is even a sliver open, we should see them leave with Nancy or atleast blobs unfocused shadows moving by, right? I almost feel like the video was staged, by who I dont know. It’s all so fishy!

The camera was removed. Crime scene photos show the camera missing with just the bracket remaining.

Can we assume that the fact that the backpack was sold exclusively at Walmart is a significant breakthrough? Apparently, Walmart is known for their comprehensive “tracking” of purchasers, even having video of cash purchases.

Also, although the rest of the items could have been purchased elsewhere, I’d think that since they’re also sold at Walmart, and the backpack is only sold there, the perp may have purchased some of the other items there as well,

I wonder how long it takes Walmart to track down these purchases?

IMO, the backpack may have been purchased at Walmart originally, but I feel suspect would have procured it 2nd hand…garage sale, thrift shop. I also feel this suspect and any others involved had no cellphones on them that night. I’m thinking if they did this case could possibly be solved by now. Too much for thought, (double masks, double gloves, mouth light, gun full backpack and again, probably no cell phones) they’re not gonna pick apparel from their personal closet….but I hope they did!

Just thinking about it, I wonder why he needed to go to the front door anyways. If he entered through the back door to get inside then he didn’t have to break this camera from the front. Before taking her out the front door, he could’ve placed something over that cam to break it without ever being seen.

I'm confused why he went to the front door too, especially if it is true that the sliding glass door was wide open... the sliding glass door faces the road/driveway on the left side of the house (when viewing from driveway). It didn't even look like there was a wall or fence impeding access to that sliding glass door. And earlier in the thread I think someone mentioned a neighbor said NG's bedroom is where the sliding glass door is. So much doesn't make sense. I hope soon it will.

I think it takes a lot of time. In Arizona there are over 120 Walmarts or Walmart affliliated stores. Let’s just assume there are 500 purchases per hour on average each 24 hours. Thats over a millions transactions to review per day. If they can pinpoint by product, lets just say each store sells 10 backpacks per day. If you looked back 5 days before the event, that is still over 6000 transactions to review. It is a lot of data to parse for sure.

If we add in California, There is over 300 stores.

There was unknown male DNA found at NG’s house, though we haven’t heard much about it since the sheriff’s announcement and he wouldn’t say where it was found. And if the Range Rover yields something, that would be significant. So it’s not just the glove.

I think the unknown male DNA found in NG's house is the best lead they have atm because it's linked to the crime scene. In saying that, we don't have enough information to determine how important this DNA is as it's dependant on where it was found and what type of sample it is, i.e. hair, skin, blood or other bodily fluids.

If I were LE, i'd be wanting to try and identify the donor by using genetic genealogy on the sample. I'm sort of hoping that they're being quiet about it because they are working on the sample.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - As the Nancy Guthrie case enters a third week, law enforcement wants to see home camera footage with certain dates and timeframes from a certain area

The Pima County Sheriff's Office and the FBI have launched new web pages to facilitate the sharing of any relevant information.

If you have a camera and reside in the area investigators want to review your footage. This includes smaller streets within the area.

They are focusing on cars between 10 p.m. January 11 and 1 a.m. January 12, as well as 11 p.m. January 31 to 4 a.m. February 1, the morning Guthrie went missing.

The areas of interest extend from Ina Rd. to La Cholla, then down to River Rd. and over to Roller Coaster Rd.

Maybe somebody in on this was in the house earlier and left a window unlocked. Although unlikely since I think this case would have been already solved.

If you’re already inside the house, why go up to the front door camera? Just block it and remove it from inside the front door so you aren’t seen by camera.

Some have said that it was to make it appear like a break in, from the front door. Even the way lantana guy makes sure his gun is "showing" (in the front) to the camera, and perhaps pretending this was not planned-- like oh my gosh! A camera? Oh no, I should cover this up! With what.....uuuuuuuuh, a plant! Yes, a plant.

In a large house like that I think it's very possible to unintentionally leave a door or window unlocked.
