I'd hate to be sitting on this kind of case where every other few hours we have to leave, just to sit in a small airless room and play with some string for a couple of hours until recalled to the court.

Why isn't all this ironed out before the jury was seated?

And what's up with the evidence from Eve's murder spilling into this trial? That would poison my mind that the defendant was a serial killer with the conscience of a tsetse fly.

Exactly! And if the jury sees and hears the defense jump up to object before I have to leave the court (every couple of hours) my opinion of what this defendant had truly done and was truly capable of doing would be very, very negative. I'd start thinking I was returning to court to hear the 'sanitized' version of events.

And that would make me angry about what the victim really endured.

If anyone does know what the defense said that opened up this testimony about EC's murder I'd love to know. I wonder if the defendant can use it as grounds for ineffectual counsel for a new trial? (that would make me spitting mad)

What these two young boys (at the time) did to Eve and Mahto is just horrific. imo

Eve and Mahto 2 innocent students studying hard to becoming productive adults in society. Why?

Makes me so sick that there are people in this world that think that life is of no importance other than their selfs.

This lady LE officer has such a good memory as if she lived what happened to Eve Carson. I hope she isn't haunted with bad dreams. She has done an outstanding job of remembering what they did to Eve.

Oh Shanita! At the time of the murders she had three children. After she was relocated 100 miles away by the state and was apparently given immunity by the feds, she went and had another baby. I think she was barely out of her teens then.
