Found Deceased NC - Elizabeth Spencer, 30, mother of 2, New Bern, 16 June 2020 *arrest*

Missing mom of 2 from New Bern, NC. Missing since June 16, at around 1:00 a.m. She drives a 2004 Chevy Suburban, white, with tan interior, and a car seat and a yellow outlined sticker on the back of the vehicle, plate number ZXZ-6715. Elizabeth was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt. She is approximately 5´tall and weighs about 160 lbs. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes and has a tattoo of 3 stars on her neck.

Her family is extremely worried. Circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious and under investigation.

NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) - New Bern police want you to be on the lookout for a woman who was reported missing.

Officers are looking for 30-year-old Elizabeth Spencer. Police say her family last saw her around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white v-neck t-shirt.

Spencer has blonde hair with brown highlights, hazel eyes, a tattoo of three stars on the left side of her neck, is 5′0 tall and approximately 160 pounds.

Police say she may be driving a 2004 white Chevrolet Suburban with the North Carolina license plate ZXZ-6715.

The New Bern Police Department said her remains and her car were located in a secluded area of Jones County on Friday.

Leon Mitchell, 35, has been charged with an open count of murder, while his sister, 41-year-old Tyrabia Parker, has been charged with accessory after the fact. Both Mitchell and Parker are in the Craven County Jail pending their first court appearance.
