I so agree--he has no publicity or notoriety and she is just as if she never existed.

This was a 70 something year old man seeing escorts. She was an involved retired teacher in the community.

Apparently he gets a pass in the local media even. I agree with you and am disgusted by it. I check in but never expect to see news because there is none. As you said, even the court records seem to be absent...
I wonder why her family, friends, former co-workers, etc haven't spoken out on her behalf? I agree, it's like this poor woman existed!

There were a couple who did in the beginning but that was it. I have never seen family say anything or anyone say much since. I am used to public court proceedings and this seems almost hidden from public knowledge of court proceedings. Imo anyhow. Or media is worthless in the area...?

Bumping. Another two weeks gone by with Viagra/Escort/Wife Killing Man. Imo he should be all over the news.

So should the escort.

Does the National Enquirer even do their job any more? Where are the tabloids?

Bad grandpa aged man and his paid for honey.

RIP Judy.

All jmo of course.

He's in custody at the Brunswick County jail, but I can't find anything on the NC court dockets. If he pled guilty, he should've been moved to prison, right?
JMO, MOO, etc.

1 month after murder, Holden Beach community waits for answers

Could be because Holden Beach is a small coastal community (barrier island) - 2016 census - 644 permanent residents. I don’t know if they had always lived in the area or had retired there like many people have done.

Holden Beach, North Carolina - Wikipedia

The National Inquirer would need aliens to have been involved for them to be interested in the story. Too busy with celebrity drama.
JMO

Chuckle. I forget we were missing aliens. Great point.

Yes, it is strange, I don't get it in some of these cases...?

Well, I'm confused. I thought you had to be tried first before a sentence was imposed. What happened to the trial? Did I miss it? Was it a bench trial?

There's no trial if you plead guilty as there is nothing for the state to prove. You go direct to sentencing.

Seemingly one of the few who were prosecuted. So many others who have done the same have evaded the law due to "lack of evidence."
