VOH...if you can tell us/if you know, has NH been at Froggy Bottoms again since Saturday?

I will be floored if He has nothing to do with this.

Is it possible that she called him and told him: I need a ride to the bar?

just thinking out loud.

It will be very important to know how she got to the bar in the first place. Did she take a taxi? If so, why not take one home? So many of the military rely on taxi service if they are drinking at a bar and may be drinking too much. Especially if they didnt come in the vehicle with their friends.

It reminds me so much of the NY case where a young woman went to the bar and the bouncer led her out and then he got her into his vehicle, raped, and murdered her.

I know they are not saying this man is a suspect. Probably dont want to spook him and keep him talking. But the last person to ever see her is a RSO? That would be some huge coincidence and I dont believe in them when it comes to criminal cases.

imo

IMO, I don't think she would be 'spooked' if she saw that her husband was at the apartment. I would think she would say she was "busted or F*%$#'d", but I don't think spooked would be the word.

And if this man telling this story is lying then all the stuff about her being spooked is just more lies.

I am wondering if any of the stories about pants/texts are even true. I do remember when I was first brought to this case that it stated that text was sent to the mother. But, like I said... I wonder if any of that is even true. I wonder if there was any activity on her phone after she left the bar... other than texts.

She may have been small but how would a stranger know her "fighting" skills?
They are taught ways to escape attacks in the military... I would hope she could out wit an attack by a stranger. I know that doesn't always happen...
Maybe the RSO knew she was alone for the weekend?

My prayers are with her and her family!

As a former military person, what the army teaches is nothing that can't be learned outside the army. First of all soldiers are taught combat skills, some of which translate to every day situations such as this and some of which do not. It's not a whole lot different than a woman that takes a quality self defense class. It's not like soldiers enlist and become superhuman. She was still a very tiny woman who was panicked and probably caught off guard. It's not surprising at all that a regular citizen would still be able to abduct her. Not to mention all the self defense skills in the world won't overcome someone pointing a gun. There are literally hundreds of possibilities.

Nick picked her up and drove her home. Mike was in FL at the time.

I cannot get into the other questions.

In regard to the rapist theory, with the last victim coming forward just days before this happened, there is always the possibility that he wanted to eliminate a witness. If that is the case of what happened to Kelli, there are so many variable to consider. What if she got a look at his face? What if there was some kind of DNA evidence? We don't know.

Does anyone know exactly where these rapes have occured?

Someone yesterday said they thought they knew who the POI was by going through the registered sex offender list. Now that the name is out, I am curious if they were right. Sorry, don't want to scroll through all the pages to find out who said it.

I attempted the same search and had my theory, but was wrong because I had though the POI was 26 not 25 and was looking for the wrong birth year.

It is not known when her phone shut off. On Saturday, around 4 PM, her phone was off.

I hope LE searched NH's house, car etc. too

The recent one on March 31 was on Carver Falls Road. It is right off of Ramsey Street. I believe it was on the jogging trail located off that road. That road is in very close proximity to Froggy's and Kelli's apartment.

It was me, and no I was not correct. I too was focused on 1986 as a DOB.

I did go back and look at the registry I was using and he was not in that database based on looking in Fayettville only.

He is there, just not in the location I was searching for: http://sexoffender.ncdoj.gov/results.aspx

I was using the official NC database located here: http://sexoffender.ncdoj.gov/

Good morning Sleuthers and thanks for your posts. I do believe that law enforcement is aware of things we do not know already and are working hard to get more facts. I'm wordering whether the military has "specialists" working on the investigation also (in addition to searchers); had anyone noted this said in any news reports? While certainly Nick (from the bar) has red flags waving over his head, I have pondered some on additional possibilities.
Maybe a drug in her drink at the bar and there is someone else involved. When we are drinking and having fun in a crowd sometimes we are not fully aware of who may be hearing what we say (like - my husband is in FL, the name of apt complex, have to get a ride home, etc).
Another thought is the rash of attacks in that area over past months. Possibly someone in the bar or an apt lurking evil doer that was watching the apts for a lone woman coming home. I do not know the circumstances of the most recent attacks to know whether there are any similarities.
Hopefully today will bring more answers.
These are just ideas.

I think they originally reported him as 26. I used the city-data database/map and focused search on Fayetteville which he wasn't on that list either since his address is outside Fayetteville. Thanks for responding.

I agree with you. I said the exact thing yesterday. Hopefully Kelli will be found today!
