Not much autopsy on bones. NH just had an administrative hearing but nothing really happened

Have there been any updates, as in autopsy results, NH appearing in court, ect?

I did see this today -- but please notice that it is in District Court -- A trial for murder & kidnapping would be in Superior Court. Who knoze?? I'll do a little more digging to see if there are any other details. It could simply be some kind of hearing or scheduling discussion...

ETA: I checked for detail by-date calendars, and they only run out dates till 8/11/14, so no more info at this time. Will keep checking...

He had a court date originally on 7/22. Have no idea what happened there or if it simply got continued to August like the post above indicates.

What does that mean? Cases are on a docket for a reason. Might just be for a status update. Might just get continued. Just not sure what administratively means. To me administratively tells me it's something for the clerks but cases aren't on dockets for the clerks. They can do what needs to be done without it being on a court's docket. Just curious what that means because I've never heard of it before.

Checked again today on the detail list -- still nothing beyond 8/14/14. They'll have to update it soon, seems to me!!

These preliminary lists let all court principals know who, what, when, & where. Judges, def attys, prosecutors, deputy sheriffs staffing the courtroom, court reporters, courtroom schedulers, building maintenance, etc., etc., need to know what is going on. It's a pretty big deal since everyone has to be there on time & ready to go for whatever it is. I'll keep checking...

Imo, it wasn't random, but was NH, but due to a less than competent investigation by LE, KB hasn't been located nor justice served after almost twenty two months..
I am confident that KB will be located and justice served.. Victims will speak and guide those that will simply listen, imo..

New court date set for tomorrow. For now at least. I'm wondering if they're working on a plea deal. It would be nice if a reporter could give an update on the court date to explain the ongoing continuances.

Thanks for the reminder! I checked & it is still in District Court, so it must be a hearing of some sort; if it were the Real Thang, it would be in Superior Court -- At least that's the way I've always seen it done in NC.

Announcement of charges or a new charge? Informing him of the decision to make this a DP trial? (IMO, that's the most likely scenario.) NH doesn't like his P.D. attorney? We'll need to keep an eye on it...

Exactly -- that's why I used the words, "older" and "refreshed." I wanted to make sure folks wouldn't think it was just out, but I think both articles have a fair amount of info, especially for folks who are just coming back to this case or who (like me) needed a review.

I didn't see anything new when I looked around just before I posted. There was nothing on twitter, either. The court date tomorrow says "AM" so maybe we'll get some new news after lunch sometime.
