I think it does, but of course I respect your opinion if you think it doesnt.

The reporter is reporting on what the police have told them. and the police told them that they have confirmed IMO that he was not with his wife the night she disappeared. No where does it say Mike just told them this and confirmed it just by his word.

LE doesnt take the word of any person. Their whereabouts are checked out and verified.

So I interpret it to mean LE has told the media that they have confirmed that he was not in NC when Kellie disappeared.

yesterday the head of LE that gave the presser would not directly answer the question (during the live presser) and only said they were "informed" he was in florida...

so what the media is reporting... well it is not what came out of the mouth of the LEO

Personally, I have not ruled him out...so I am not ready to feel badly for him yet. IMO

I agree. My feeling badly for him is contingent on him being cleared or not. I think of a couple scenarios that seem to make sense involving him. Everything is so oddly worded that it is hard to tell what exactly is being said regarding him. Most of what I've seen is to the effect of "We've been told...". That isn't confirmation in my book.

Yes, I do think that LE spoke the truth yesterday. They contacted the local Florida police department and they imo have confirmed for the NC police he was in Florida when Kelli disappeared.

Heck he may have been out at a bar himself in Florida since it was Friday night with some of his friends.

Since there is nothing showing he is involved and the police haven't even so much as hinted that he is he has my deepest sympathy.

I am sure he is wrestling with a lot of 'what ifs' right about now.

I dont particular try to dicect what police say or how they say it. They have always had their own speakisms.

If they say that is what they have been told then they trust whoever is giving them that information and imo it did not come from MB but the local police that NC LE contacted.

If not they would have hopped a plane to Florida and checked out his whereabouts themselves and we havent heard of them doing that.

Well i think whats important is what time was he last seen by someone in florida and what time was he seen the next day in florida.

Depending on what part of fla he was staying in he could drive there and back! Depending on when he was last seen there.

Who was she texting all evening im sure that holds a big piece of the info.

True and my opinion is that would be so easy to check out since the driving time to and from would take about 16-18 hours round trip, not to mention doing the deed itself and getting rid of evidence. I believe his dad is from Ocala and that is where he was.

I think in those 16-18 hour time span he was seen in Florida.
