they have either cleared the pond, found something, or someone is "singing" and the search has taken a new direction

:moo: of course

Sarx i see that you are here.

Generally when they first start searching what types of dogs do the use? I read that one dog was brought in and had a possible hit, then they brought another. Is that to confirm the first dog's hit?

If I remember correctly, VOH910 stated he's only be apart/regular of Foggy Bottoms for a few weeks or so.

It's never been stated WHO actually knows him for a longer period.

One does not just show up and tent out without having a connection to the place somehow.

So two weeks ago or however recent it was someone he knows let him stay where they work ,or own or run and help out arround the place ,which shows a level of trust on that persons part. The connection is likely the bar employees or hobbyshop owner.

well sarx left...sigh

Wonder if they arrested NH yet, for failing to register his new address...I hope so. But again I say, "tent behind Froggy Bottoms" is probably not gonna fly for the new address.

agreed, I'm sure someone or more KNOWS him better than others, but my comment was that VOH910 never stated she KNEW him.

She might.

I am pretty sure VOH has said the owner of the bar did not know NH was living out back and that no one knew he was a RSO.

Why would they stop the pond search?

Oh sorry.

VOH910 never stated she was a she. I believe though she /he did state she knew Nick and saw him yesterday and held conversations with him and another person, a few days ago.

Yeah. His demeanor was off. Like I said though, I could not pin point what it was. Just re-watched it. He seems smug???

I agree...Smug is the right word. When I watched the interview it reminded me of Ryan Brunn, the "man" who later confessed to killing seven-year-old Jorelys Rivera, and than hung himself.

Nick really had me fooled in that interview. It's really true, we can never really know anyone, and killers don't look like monsters, they look perfectly normal.

I didn't think he looked normal in that interview and I didn't think what he said was normal, as I commented at the time. It's a feeling and the look in his eyes...not an innocent person:( ^i^

caryresident: the pond is only two acres... they could have easily cleared it by now... (re: in the Sierra Lamar case they cleared almost 10 ponds in one day)

they also could have found something that needs further testing

or

they could have received a lead that is pulling them in another direction?

I am betting personally that they have cleared it. :moo:

I did not state my gender. It was Saturday I saw him.

(aside: if the pond is cleared I will be a little peeved that it was the only area they were out searching today re: per the earlier article that said it was the only search they had going )

correct, you didn't....my bad.

so, you knew NH for only a 'few months', correct?

VOH has most definitely inferred that He/she knows NH from the bar. Without re-reading all of VOH's posts again, I am pretty sure VOH stated that he/she did in fact know and have conversations with NH over the past few months.
(Not trying to speak for you VOH, but I know you have a lot going on right now and just trying to clear some things up) .

In a lot of areas, the first dogs that will come in will be police K9's. Yes, the 2nd dog will be to confirm.
