Those eight drinks were over the course of 6+ hours.

I've never quite figured out how it's possible for someone to actually sit at a bar for over 6 hours. Unless there are various things to do there that you couldn't do anywhere else. I'm old, so maybe that's the problem.

Thank you! I've heard about pants found several times.

I was curious about this house the second I heard about it.

In Dru Sjodin's case from Grand Forks, MN, the level three sex offender who took her and murdered her ALSO left her body very close to his former family home. I guess we can never trust an ex sex offender.

that's easy....in my younger years, I could sit at the blackjack tables in Atlantic City for 16+ hours drinking and playing.

Which matches up with what you said earlier, VOH....a shot and beer back every hour and a half is not drunk, even for a little one like Kelli...

And thank you so much for your information and insight!

I have never been there, so I am not an expert, but VOH910 said last night that the bar had things to do, like pool tables, darts, electronic games and large screen TV's, etc. Friday night there was also karaoke.

When I was her age, a long, long time ago, my friends and I would regularly spend 6+ hours in a bar on Friday and Saturday nights.

(VOH910, I hope you don't mind that I keep repeating/paraphrasing details you have given. I live in the area so I have been following this thread closely. I also have a 24 year old daughter, so I can imagine the fear and pain of her family members and friends.)

Just had a interview with POI on local abc11 4 o'clock news. Said he had to look into the camera during police interview and state that "If I killed Kelli, I deserve to die"

Just In: Fayetteville police have scheduled a 4:30 p.m. news conference regarding their search for Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux, who disappeared Saturday. Watch it live on WRAL-TV or WRAL.com.
Keep up with breaking news at http://www.wral.com/

They just aired a new short interview with Holbert on ABC11 and I have to say that the way he answered whether he killed her or, especially, if he had anything to do with her disappearance...it didn't fill me with confidence that he's not involved.

Here's the link to the live feed. They said at 5 they'll have info on something that may have been found at the pond.

It is a testament to my recent diet that the first thing I thought was "Oh, the calories!"

LOL

Agree, and actually my first thought was that they could have been those drinks that are a shot dropped in a beer (no clue on the name, just see people drink them)

The silence is deafening right now on Kelli and what they are doing. Does anyone know if any of the news channels in the area have live coverage of the searches? Possibly from the air.

If the news stations are like those in Atlanta, they usually try to coordinate with law enforcement and have a news conference for the 5 - 6 o'clock news.

I checked on the RadioReference and see that Fayetteville, NC does not have online live LE Scanner broadcast - so not able to hear any of the chatter there.

if that's true it's kinda weird, but I'm not buying anything the POI is selling.

Not at all! It helps as I will be out of here for at least a few hours later on. As I said she was singing most of the night.
