VOH, he's the news article with this report, wondering if you can confirm or deny.

The Froggy Bottoms owner said Holbert lived in a tent behind the bar. Many witnesses saw the man leave the bar with Boredeaux the night she disappeared but he returned in "less than 10 minutes."

Holbert told a local television station in North Carolina that he was at the bar and gave Bordeaux a ride home. He said he dropped her off at the entrance of her neighborhood, according to ABC News 11 in Fayetteville. Bordeaux was reported missing by Fort Bragg when she failed report to work on Monday. She joined the United States Army in April 2011, family said.

All I can say is Pointdexter only knows what he was told about that night.

Regarding the texts, maybe this scenario happened: NH is giving KB a ride home and she starts getting that feeling that something is wrong. He drives past her apartment complex (or does something else suspicious). Calling his bluff, she says "Friend (I don't know his name?) is expecting me home and will know something is wrong if he doesn't hear from me."

This makes me wonder if Nick had his eyes on Kelli from the moment that he saw her. He said he asked them if he could get the next game after watching them play pool. Maybe he was jealous of her friend and since he had met him, he knew his name and sent the text directly to him that night he took Kelli to ????

BBM

Anything is possible. But I am more thinking that rather than NH scrolling through her contacts, looking for that friend, it would be more likely that he saw communication between Kelli and the friend, then answered based on what he read. MOO

This is what I believe as well. He could easily knock her out and put her in the trunk or somewhere else so he could have an alibi.

Yeah, he could have been planning this for a long time and the opportunity arose and he went for it.

That would be a good reason for her cell phone to be pinging from Froggy's before it was turned off. It was in his car until he finally left and turned it off or pitched it. He would then have all weekend to do whatever he wanted with her.

Are the clubs that visit Froggy's just touring clubs? And, why not Wingmen? Their website states they aren't 1%.

Some of their members may have stopped in once in a while, but they are not part of the normal clubs that come in routinely. I am not sure what you mean by touring clubs?

VOH, you probably won't answer this but, do you think that there are people that would cover for Nick at that bar? As far as saying that he came back in 10 minutes when in fact it may have been longer than that?

Yes, those texts would have shown up last on her phone, all to do is type out that she was home safely and then reply. Not difficult at all.

Does anyone know if KB has an alarm system in her apt? Just wondering if there's any indication she did return home that night.

Not sure what Pointdexter has said but ATM I'm considering the news article triple heresay. Just what's been reported which can be a newer reporters interpretation.

Thanks

Not the people who were there when he left.

Not yet. I have already talked with a moderator about this and I have decided once I am comfortable revealing my name I will have no problems becoming verified.

peeps, until and unless VOH decides he wants to get verified please refrain from asking him questions about case players. Thanks guys:rocker: He/She can talk about the area, the bar, and what is in the main stream media.

I wonder if this is why the police were looking in the trunk of a couple of the cars/suv's parked in front of Froggy's. Maybe they thought he put her in the back of another car and waited before he transported her somewhere else. They know the exact times of the cell phone pings so I can definitely see this as a possibility.

hmmm...thank you for the answer, although I could read that in several different ways:)!

Touring clubs...oh say a retired, 70 yo, who also happens to be a vet who enjoys riding motorcycles. The opposite side of this would be a motorcycle gang/club, and their associates, say the HAMC.

My guess is that he took her to a secluded location after they left the bar. Maybe he told her he had somewhere he wanted to show her. I think an obvious spot between the bar and her apt is along Carver Falls Road, which is right around the corner from the bar and goes through some secluded areas almost to the River. There are some other areas like the athletic field complex behind Methodist University, which would be deserted at that time of night but if I were searching I'd start by looking at any parking areas off Carver Falls Rd to see if I saw anything that might relate to Kelli.

My quote button is not working.

You can only tell if someone starts a car engine or the lights turn on if it is a loud bike or it is parked in front of the door. The music can be loud at times as well.

If he was only gone 30 min or less, then I think she was in his trunk, tent, shed or woods.

The MC clubs there are family men. Some are vets, some are active duty, some are not affiliated. They have wives, girlfriends, children. They do charity events. They are not violent and intimidating.

I have not heard anything about an alarm system but I am betting that LE knows that she did not return home because they are allowing her family to stay in her apartment. The police have also checked her apartment.

I still can't get past a few things that haven't really been confirmed by LE.
