My husband and I are just the opposite. He travels a lot on business. We often go a few days without chatting. Some couples prefer talking a lot when they're apart; others don't mind missing a few days if there isn't anything important to discuss. I don't find either situation odd.

me too and we have kids 10 and 14. He travels out of the country every other month for 2 weeks and we probably only talk 2-3 times during that. I don't think he had anything to do with this. jmoo

I do have a question about KB's last 2 text messages.
Why would KB text Justin saying "getting a ride home from a man"?
KB, Justin & Nick had met the previous week... Justin would know who he was..
Why wouldn't KB just say "getting ride home from the guy we met last week, Nick"... That seems strange...
The last text is even more concerning, "got home safely"...
If she did send this text, what would make her send the message "got home safely"?? Did she not feel safe??

I still believe Nick sent the last 2 text messages... We do not know to who or what was texted by KB from the bar that evening, but it may well have been that she was getting "spooked" by Nick.. Nick was aware she was texting "alot"... When Nick see's her text messages, he covers his tracks by texting
"getting ride home from a man" & home safely"... The cell towers are like fingerprints, they will help tell the story, along with what time & to who these messages were sent...

The quote below from Nick should raise a red flag to everyone...
"She didn't want me to know where she lived" & "didn't want to be seen together".... Not very flattering for Nick...

"As soon as you drive into the entrance to Meadowbrook, she said stop right here," Holbert told the station. "So I stopped and she said, 'I'll walk home.' I said, 'Are you sure?' She said, 'Yeah.' I figured she didn't want me to know where she lived, or somebody was there and she didn't want to be seen together."

Last, but certainly not least, KB is a very petite girl, 5' - 1" tall, 105 lbs...
We know that she had 4 drinks and 4 shots... That would affect her considerably... Nick did not drink...

Nick had to be doing other things beside the pretending to be the bouncer at the bar.

Was he driving those taxi's arround for cash money? I still havent saw a definite link about a vending machine company in connection with the bar but if steve "was the owner" of that I would assume Nick had access to the old juke boxes and old vending machines etc..

She could have sent the text im getting a ride home from a man could have been to make him Jealous maybe?
then later sends him the text that she got home safe!

We dont know the relationship with J and K.
Friends? Who knows!
Why would he come to visit when Hubby goes out of town?
Why go to places Kelli and hubby never went to?
I have questions yeppers i do.
So who got mad at her Hubby?
Justin?
Nick?

As i see it we have a few options to choose from and its not always the obvious!

I just watched part of Mike's interview, there are some things, the way he words them, that concern me. When people say "to be honest" or "I'm trying to be honest" it generally means they are hiding something.

I don't know if people who use those phrases are generally hiding something.

I think for many people, "to be honest" is sort of like "umm", just a nervous space-filler.

Then, sometimes, a person is just pointing out that he or she is being honest, especially when what they are saying is not what they think the other person is expecting or wants to hear.

Case in point (BBM):

Before I go ahead with saying anything else, I am going to put it out there that I immediately spoke to the police and Kelli's family when I found out she was missing. They are completely knowledgeable of EVERYTHING I know. The reason I am offering up any information to you people is in hopes of helping to find Kelli. I have noticed that several of you have picked up on things that I have not in the news articles. I do ask that if I do not feel comfortable with answering a question (because of respect for Kelli, her family, my friends, or the investigation) please respect that.

I will not give my exact relation to the case, but I do know Kelli and I have frequented Froggy Bottoms. I will first off start by saying that Froggy's is a biker bar. However, it is also very eclectic in the clients. In addition, there are pictures of Kelli and Mike on both of their Facebook pages. However, their privacy preferences prevent some individuals from seeing them.

I have read your entire thread and to be honest it is a lot for me to go back and correct any errors in statements (even those reported by the media), answer area related questions, or provide additional insight. So what I can offer as a response, I certainly will. Again, I ask that you respect my decision on what and how I reply and that you refrain from jumping to any conclusions (such as Nick or the RSO is guilty) until we know for sure.

Thanks
VOH

VOH said nick was at the bar and left to go pick up Kelly,
NOw
did Kelly call the bar? maybe ask the bartender if there was anyone there that could give her a ride?
OR
did she call Nick?
OR
did they make arrangements at a diff time to go to Froggies friday night?

Nick has been hanging in thos bars since 2009 i think everyone knew what he was doing there.

500 people turn out for search

About 500 volunteers showed up this morning to help search for missing Fort Bragg soldier Kelli Bordeaux.

A mix of soldiers and civilians, clad in fatigues, blaze orange hunting gear and regular clothes, turned up at the parking lot of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center's Health Pavilion North at Andrews Road and north Ramsey Street.

The last location report from Bordeaux's cell phone came from a tower behind the pavilion, police said. Volunteers were split into groups to search a 1.7-mile area shoulder to shoulder.
