agreed...so, what could have been going on in the area of FB that would lead LE back to the area of FB and NOT the apartment complex?

that's why I asked VOH about a fight or anything around FB. And he stated NO.

Here is another question, if the perp is not Nick but Kelli never made it home after he "dropped her off on the side of the street" and people don't believe that Kelli sent the last one or two texts, why would the perp put "got home safely"? If the perp knew that she was getting a ride from someone at the bar, wouldn't he want the person driving her home to look like the guilty one? The "got home safely" text points straight to Nick if Kelli didn't text it herself.

John Buratti - former boss when Kelli worked for him at Sonic and close friend of Kelli. His wife is also close to Kelli. John had exchanged text messages with Kelli earlier on the day of her disappearance. He reports that Kelli's phone had been off for a few days going straight to voicemail, then started to ring again around April 19th

Phone/number cloning. LE might have had her number transferred to new handset.

John Buratti - former boss when Kelli worked for him at Sonic and close friend of Kelli. His wife is also close to Kelli. John had exchanged text messages with Kelli earlier on the day of her disappearance. He reports that Kelli's phone had been off for a few days going straight to voicemail, then started to ring again around April 19th

Not sure where to find and can't remember exactly how it was worded but I remember reading that the cell phone company said it was a fluke on their part. Of course, we don't know if LE told them/asked them to say that or not.
Hopefully someone can be more factual about this.

Something sure is drawing LE back there......time and time again.

What was going on at that bar and were the owners/managers into doing illegal things there.. I wonder.. or turning a blind eye?

I really do not know what to make of that.Some have suggested LE turned it back on but if that is the case why would they not answer it and talk to the person who was calling or call them back to question them.Something he never mentioned happened.

Maybe it had something to do with another female soldier being raped near there in late March....

I do not think she had a date at 1:30 am. I think it makes complete sense that she was tired and wanted to go home. She had been at work all day and then went out drinking.

Just a random thought...maybe when Kelli and Nick went outside for him to give her a ride they ran into someone in the parking lot (like, let's say Poindexter) and he said to Nick, where are you going? You are supposed to be working. I will give her a ride, thus the "man" giving her a ride home).
Only thing with that is, then why would NH say he drove her and dropped her off. Did Nick owe Poindexter a favor maybe - for letting him crash behind the bar and for employing him under the table.
I doubt the above scenario, but I am just trying to play out some scenarios and see if they hold water.

Just shooting out random ideas.

Did we ever determine where Kelli's car was? Could it be that Nick drove Kelli home in her car and someone followed them in order to bring Nick back?
But then what...is Nick covering for someone?
Poindexter sure tried to distance himself from Nick by saying " he was not an employee" & "I didn't let him sleep there" yet we have seen a picture from 2009 with Nick and Poindexter in the background at the saloon on Halloween.

It's seems as though PD is the only one that knew Nick was living behind the bar and I am curious about the relationship between the two of them considering Nick is in pictures from years ago at the other bar he owns.

Really it's my bad because I should have used his real initials and I was thinking while typing it out that it might be confusing sorry!

I was looking at the case map and doing some google walks, and I am confused about where NH says he dropped her off. If it was right after you turn onto King's Creek Dr., it is about 600 feet to the first section of apartment buildings. When I pulled up a map of my house and measured out 600 feet from my driveway out it was about 2 blocks. That is not near as far as I thought it was. If it was the second set of buildings (up around the corner) that would be another 600-800 feet, still not terrible.

Then I started thinking about after she got out of the car. Did he do a 3 point turn right there and turn back on Ramsey? That road looks pretty narrow. If he drove down to the apartment entrance and turned around he would have passed her on the way out. Was she walking towards the apartments? Was she on her phone?

I know there was a video showing MB on the apartment patio. Can you tell from that which set of buildings it was?

ETA - I found an article that says the apartment was on Water Trail Dr, which is the first set of buildings. Not far at all to walk, however I still wouldn't want to do it in 46 degree temps in flip flops

I went past the enterance this weekend and it's not as far as it looks in picture/video from there until you reach this first building. Imo
