You got the correct one. I wonder why these car break ins were significent. Did the PT just put them out there before the DT had a chance to claim that a wandering thief killed JA?

It sounded to me like they'll try to make a case that an unknown person whose DNA was found in blood on the door killed Janet. He said K-9's tracked to the creek where LE found a coin.

Coins had been stolen from the neighbor's car ("penny change"). So yeah, a neighborhood coin thief probably killed Janet. :facepalm:

Anyway, that's what I gleaned from the defense opening and yesterday's testimony.

IIRC he also asked a witness if she went online to read up on the case anywhere and she answered, yes, I read Raven's blog, but she didn't mention WS. I wonder if he plans to ask every witness about coming on here and talking about the case.

Hi, Boodles --- Acccckkkk!!! You're scaring me!! The Neighborhood Coin Thief?! -- I thought that was only a legend. Those ghost & scary stories that are told around Girl Scout camp-outs or slumber parties. I had no idea that the Neighborhood Coin Thief was a real person. And in our area!!! I am very impressed by Investigator Jackson. She seems serious about what she does, is thorough, and pretty sharp. She's been-there-and-done-that more than a few times, IMO. She was no-fooling-around and explained things very well. I hope she'll have some good stuff on this guy.

Another point - The DT opening statement: He mentions a particular name before he mentions WS. Do I have to listen again, or does someone know the name? He seemed to keep track of Raven? Is he a WS member?

I puffy heart accents in native speakers. Makes me feel waaaay less self-conscious of my almost minimal Spanish accented Anglais!

As an aside, same happens in Spanish. As a Mexican, I swear to the gods I don't have an accent. My Colombian friends seem to disagree. PFFFT :scared:
