I too, tried to find the early posts. The only ones I found were for 2009 - is there a thread available for when the murder first happened? Could you steer me there, please?

Sure... give me just a few minuets to link you up. :)

I'm confused because I remember not being able to find the very earliest posts as well. I may have begun in 2009 too. When the live trial ends today, I'll go back and find where I started.....last night it was the earliest I could find.

The keys were on the floor? I thought someone else testified they were on the desk.

Hi fellow WSers. I'm new to WS (although I've lurked in the Travis Alexander board) I have a question... Has the husband offered another solution to her murder? TIA

(hope I'm doing this correctly!)

To get the threads from the very beginning of the case, look at the bottom left hand side of the forum page.

See the area in my red box? Set the search option "From the" to BEGINNING. That will give you all the threads from the beginning of the case.

I'll also look for a good synopses for everyone. I think there might be one out there, it just might take me a few minutes.

Hub says intruder now, but he once suggested suicide and saw that just wasn't going to fly.

suicide????????
As in she stabbed herself in the neck and had defensive wounds from her own stab?
If this is the mindset of the DT, it should be an open and shut case.

I can't explain why the woman in the front row knitting bothers me so. Maybe it seems too casual of an activity to do during a murder trial? I don't know why- but it does.
Hope I'm not offending anyone close to the case.

Her wedding set was found in the home, but not on Janet's finger?
Wedding set was found at the kitchen sink, the only time she took it off was to do the dishes.... and Raven said he did dishes that night before he left. Hmmmm, it's a poser.

Much like Michelle Young
This, from an article about Jason Young is what should be read during the Arias conviction.

"The evidence suggests the assailant was overcome by anger and rage," Stephens said. "This woman wasn't just murdered. She suffered a beating the likes of which we seldom see," he added. "The assailant struck her over 30 times with a weapon of some sort, and she was undoubtedly unconscious after the second or third blow. But it would appear that the evidence suggests the assailant continued to beat her until he was exhausted. Only then did he stop beating her, because he didn't have the strength to strike her anymore."

Yeah, Raven said and did some pretty idiotic stuff.

Raven likes to outright lie about things that are easily checked out to be false. In his big TV interview he goes on and on about Kaiden's birth and the complications associated with it and it turns out, that didn't happen to Kaiden it happen to another baby in the family. Those of us who were following it back then were really puzzled by that and other strange lies he would tell.

Maybe nervous knitting? I don't know who she is. Also not sure who the lady with the silver earrings is.

Whomever they are, please friends, let's not let this become a mud slinging contest. I beg we all focus on justice and leave both families out of our discussions. :please:

L L & S--I went back last night and read some of the earliest posts here on WB related to this case. I want to get caught up as quickly as I can. I remember all the messes that have happened in the Durham DA's office since this murder happened. I'm sorry for Janet's family that it has taken this long and I pray for justice.
You seem to have a very personal interest, were you friends with Janet?

No I didn't know Janet personally... I became involved with the case here at WS and back then my husband and I built websites for a living. Janet's family asked us to help them build a memorial website for Janet. TearsforJanet.com. During that time I flew out to Durham to meet the family and help with the Candle Light Vigil and after that stayed pretty wrapped up in the whole case. I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of Janet's family and close friends over that time period, gathering photos, and lot's of emails with ideas and info for the website back and forth, that kind of thing.

ETA: It was really hard not to fall in love with this family. They are really strong amazing people. Mrs. C is a special kind of woman, that's a fact!
