I have been thinking (that means trouble) I feel like I have been at 2 trials.

One for SM with the regular prosecution team and the other for KM with Barth as the wanbee prosecutor. With 2 different story's one to the GJ and the other to the defense investigator that has no recording to verify it. The investigator has hand written notes with no document of questions asked.

So who or whom do you believe? We really have no direct comments from SM about the murder and 2 story's from KM.

I am picking the prosecution and going with KM story to the GJ. We may never know the true story, SM needs to serve time. I do think KM needs to be convicted as well and serve more time.

I have been thinking too. One very good point he made was about one of Seth's "stories". I forget his exact words, but the gist of was.... IF Lizzi had been smothered, why would he say that Paul strangled her?

Missed you today and excited to hear your take!

Well, after about 30 minutes of Barth, I am skipping to the state closing argument. This is such a terrible defense.

Thanks for all the updates today. Attorney Ward did a beautiful job getting Lizzy's final hours and story out to the jury. Lizzy was a trusting soul with 2 unbelievably crazy people. Her poor parents having to listen to all that over and over again. Hope the jury comes back with the right verdict. I am not convinced the defense will be disappointed with a murder 1 verdict. Barth looks like he doesn't want to be so close to this dude this whole time.

Just about every trial I have watched my children have always chosen closing arguments to ask for my baby sitting services lol. Today was no exception. So I was so happy to get to read all posts today. Thanks Websleuths and all the great posters. Looking forward to tomorrow hope the verdict comes in by Friday.

After closings today I think we will have a verdict on Friday~ The jury was attentive for both sides.

The courtroom was full today~ lots of important people there for the closing from NH. Judges, lawyers, State Attorney General and some of the people that worked on the case.

Many people are afraid of a hung jury for obvious reasons~ which they would rather have than a not guilty because this case will be tried again.

Some of the lawyers there said that there is talk that Kat may have her sentence overturned but they wouldn't say why.

We all wished some of Lizzy's family good luck~ they have fought a long hard battle and really need to see justice done. This case was very heart wrenching to watch due to the nature and the things they had to hear about that night. They are all pretty protected by the court. They leave out of the courtroom and go down the back staircase to the Prosecutor's offices. Pretty much the news people leave them alone.

I hope to be there when the verdict is read but it depends on when the jury comes back.

Thanks Littleone, greatly appreciate your first-hand accounts. About Kat's sentence, could you give a bit more detail, are the lawyers there saying they think her convictions could be erased or the immunity deal done away with? 'Sentence overturned' sounds rather ominous.

I find him very engaging. I have been listening to every word intently.

Bart not so much. I was zoning out constantly.

I couldn't take Barth - I had to walk away.

Kat, Kat, Kat, Kat, Kat.

He was driving me potty.

Justice won't be served until KM is behind bars for a very very long time (along with SM).
