Mazzaglia is charged with two "alternate theory" counts of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree murder, two counts of hindering apprehension for murder, witness tampering, falsifying physical evidence and solicitation of escape.
Mazzaglia pleaded guilty to other charges against him, including conspiracy charges related to Marriott's death.

I'm thinking M2 also :fence: although the felonius sexual assult part is gonna be a discussion for many jurors to support their M1. I want M1!

I am glad NH is a state that does not have a trial penalty phase and that the judge will do the sentencing. I am not a fan of juries handing out penalty.

He's explaining the charges and breaking them down. First charge is 1st degree murder ... that Seth Mazzaglia killed Elizabeth Marriott by strangling her. Second charge - 1st degree murder ... that he strangled her and committed felonious sexual assault before, during or after.
