Dear Dulce and her family, I am thinking of you, with hope.

Was Dulce abducted?

Have we ever seen an interview from a person that was on the basketball court that day?

Any witnesses other than the one “of tender years”?

The red van/suv/whatever?

Concealment.

Are there walking paths around the park, through the woods? Like nature trails or something?

Happy birthday Dulce. We share the same birthday and I saw your story on the news today. I’m glad your story is still shown on the news. Still praying for this sweet girl and her family.

The little girl, then 5 years old, was last seen playing with her younger brother at Bridgeton City Park in Cumberland County on the afternoon of September 16, 2019.

In the years since she vanished, investigators released age-progression photos showing what Dulce may look like.

"Since we hope to charge and prosecute the person(s) responsible for Dulce's disappearance, we cannot speak about many of the details of our investigation," the statement reads. "However, we want to reiterate, that in the absence of evidence of Dulce's demise, investigators hold out hope that she is alive."

*I’m firm in my belief Dulce is indeed alive…

Whatever happened with her mom and brother? Are they still in the country?

Noema Alavez Perez welcomes me into her home with a soft smile and a tired “hola.” Standing at the door of the humble duplex her parents rent in Bridgeton, wearing a t-shirt and leggings with her fuchsia hair that’s pulled into a messy bun, she looks like any of the young moms in my friends’ group.

At first glance, anyway. I look more closely and can’t help but notice something much more profound — the distinct and lingering sadness in her eyes. And suddenly, it’s hard to forget why I’m here: to ask her about her little girl, the daughter who’s been missing for three years.

The daughter she one day took to a neighborhood park to play and never brought back home. Her beloved firstborn. Her sweet almond-eyed “princesa.” The one she calls her “pequeña traviesa.” The little girl with the big mischievous smile. Her loving and affectionate “cariñosa.” Her unforgettable Dulce Maria.

That fateful afternoon on Sept. 16, 2019, Noema took her 8-year-old sister and Noema’s two children — Dulce and three-year-old Manny — to Bridgeton City Park.

It was a place she had been to many times herself, growing up in Bridgeton. She recalls she had often played there, out of the sight of her own parents. That day, Noema, who was 19 at the time, stayed in the car while her kids ran off to the playground some 30 yards away.

Her sister did homework and Noema worked on a scratch-off lottery ticket.

Minutes later, she said, she noticed the kids were no longer in her line of vision. She rushed to the playground where she found her son crying, but no Dulce. By then it was too late. Just like that, her little girl was gone.

Dulce Maria Alavez

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for 5-year-old Dulce Maria Alavez, who went missing while playing in Bridgeton City Park on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019.

That was the beginning of her nightmare. In the days and weeks that followed Dulce’s disappearance, which police have been investigating as a possible child abduction, a wave of intense criticism from strangers on the internet and people in the community crashed down on her and her family. They judged her for her parental negligence. They disparaged her for not crying in news interviews. They made racist comments about her family’s Mexican culture. And they assumed she knows who took Dulce…

From the nj.com article: Dulce’s mom has 4 children now: Dulce, Dulce’s little brother, the now-2yr old with whom Dulce’s mother was pregnant in 2019, and a 1yr old. They all remain in NJ. (I don’t recall any indication that Dulce’s mom considered leaving NJ - perhaps you are thinking of Dulce’s father in Mexico or the mom’s then-boyfriend who was deported?)

Dulce’s mom has 4 children including Dulce? She’s only 21-22 years old?

Correct. She was 14 when she had Dulce. I believe discussions related to Dulce’s conception, including statutory rape issues, are off-limits.

yes they're americans, they live here. Mom just recently sat down with the local news to continue shedding light on her case.

Yes, I knew that. If I had a family out of the country I could go too, after all the nastiness she endured, I would have gone.

You should call in the tip. We're not allowed to discuss tips here, though, as it's an active investigation.

I'm pretty sure you can remain anonymous.
I agree and no one will ever know.

@Rockgirl89 Here is the tip-line information for Dulce's case (click on the blue link near her photo at the bottom of this post). Please call in whatever you've heard/noticed. We should not discuss here specifics that haven't been released by law enforcement:
